The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 1126: Chapter 426: The True Love Control Group (Part 2)

The daughter Lian Ye is the elder sister, she inherited her father’s business right after graduating university, and is a very straightforward career woman.

The son Lian Cheng is the younger brother, he doesn’t like doing business, in university he chose a medical profession, he is several months older than He Sitian, and He Sitian has already become a famous pianist nationwide, while he is still struggling with graduate school.

They say completing a master’s degree isn’t the end, he still needs to pursue a doctorate.

After all, in medical professions, it’s often a continuous path from undergraduate to Ph.D.

If you only have an undergraduate degree, you can barely find a good job in your field after graduation.

Of course, the Lian Family, like the He Family, has a small business, Lian Cheng doesn’t face any financial pressures, and can continue to pursue his goals.

He Sitian and Lian Cheng are the same age, they attended kindergarten, primary school, middle school together, until they were separated in university.

One went abroad, while the other continued studying domestically.

But their relationship did not change due to distance, instead, as both grew up and began to understand love, they became even closer.

He Sitian and Lian Cheng are recognized by their parents, classmates, neighbors, and relatives as a couple.

Now both are 24 years old, already past the legal marriage age, and both families have begun urging them to marry.

Only He Sitian is busy with her career, and Lian Cheng feels he’s still a student and cannot yet shoulder the burden of a family.

The young couple enjoys their sweet romance, all the while evading their parents’ pressure—still not wanting to marry, at least not in the next couple of years.

However, this year, an unexpected event occurred!

He Sitian finally finished her nationwide tour and earned a rare break.

Lian Cheng, on the other hand, is close to graduating from his research institute, with his thesis completed, he temporarily has nothing urgent.

Thus, the recognized couple planned a trip.

If it were just the two of them, perhaps the ensuing tragedy wouldn’t have occurred.

But unfortunately, the He Family has an idle younger daughter.

He Sitian is a good sister who loves her younger sister dearly, unwilling to see her left at home and nagged by their parents, she took her sister He Siyu along when she went out with her boyfriend.

Their romantic journey turned into a trio.

Although the parents thought it wasn’t quite right, they didn’t prevent it excessively!

Since the three of them grew up together, Lian Cheng has always regarded He Siyu as his own sister.

”Let her go along, indeed, Sitian hasn’t married Lian Cheng yet, Siyu following can help us keep an eye on things!”

This was the viewpoint of the He Family’s parents.

As for the Lian Family’s parents, they also had similar considerations.

After all, both families value rules and reputation, even as the male party, they don’t want to be subjected to gossip.

Thus, He Sitian and Lian Cheng, the young couple, set out on their journey with He Siyu.

They traveled westward, their route almost spanning half the country.

Although He Sitian was on holiday, she was really very busy.

Television stations invited her for shows, various music academies asked her to perform, attend anniversary celebrations, and there were some commercial performances or collaborations.

Her Noah phone nearly rang day and night.

Whenever this happened, He Sitian would have to step aside to answer, leaving He Siyu and Lian Cheng alone together.

Besides calls, when in hotels or malls, she would encounter fans or piano enthusiasts.

Taking photos, playing the piano on the spot became indispensable.

Initially, seeing such a He Sitian, Lian Cheng would only feel pride and satisfaction, along with a faint sense of smugness—

Hey! You see, this dazzling, universally admired perfect girl belongs to me, she’s my true love, my life partner!

But, as time went by, with the same scene playing out each day, seeing those fans’ eyes saying ”You’re lucky to win our Piano Princess’s favor,” Lian Cheng’s mindset gradually began to change.

A negative emotion called ”inferiority” quietly grew in his heart.

He’s a man, after all, with excellent academics, considered a model child by others.

Yet standing beside the talented and beautiful He Sitian, he became a mere backdrop, and maybe some even laughed at him for being the toad lusting after the swan!

This... the always proud Lian Cheng found hard to tolerate.

Unknowingly, a crack seemed to appear between Lian Cheng and He Sitian.

And at this moment, He Siyu would pitifully say: ”Sister is really amazing, unlike me, my studies are lackluster, and I have no special talents either!”
