The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 199: Chapter 111: A Male Lead’s Relative (Part 15)_3

Such people truly think very highly of themselves, but they also admire those with real talent.

He Tiantian had time-traveled through several worlds and was quite broad-minded, having encountered the likes of Second Young Master Jin before.

She was very clear on how to deal with such people.

Blindly flattering them was definitely not going to work.

But being arrogant about her talents wasn’t appropriate either, given that he was a high and mighty figure from the elite circles of Capital City.

He Tiantian had to strike the right balance between ability and attitude, otherwise, if she offended Second Young Master Jin, even Su Wenyuan wouldn’t protect her openly.

After some thought, He Tiantian made up her mind.

She flashed a radiant smile and followed Second Young Master Jin’s lead, saying, ”Ah, what a coincidence, when I first started practicing archery, I also used a traditional bow. After all, when hunting in the mountains, nobody uses a Recurve Bow!”

”Oh, you’ve really been hunting? Game? Alive?”

Second Young Master Jin was genuinely interested, bombarding her with a flurry of questions.

He Tiantian’s smile grew even brighter as she nodded earnestly, ”Of course, there aren’t any large wild animals in the mountains, but there are plenty of hares and wild ducks. When I was a child, I had my fair share of roast rabbit!”

”No way, you’re not bluffing?” Second Young Master Jin curled his lip, roasted rabbit meat, as if wild hares were that easy to kill?

Second Young Master Jin had also gone hunting in the mountains with friends, having played with both guns and bows.

But, in the end, they were only doing it for entertainment, and their hunting results were not comparable to those hunters who relied on it for their livelihood.

For a group of people to go into the mountains and manage to shoot a rabbit was considered quite an achievement.

Of course, the ”game” raised by farm stays was an exception.

Such things, he felt, were equivalent to cheating, and Second Young Master Jin simply disdained them.

He wanted to be like the ancient nobility, horse riding and hunting across the mountains and forests.

He Tiantian simply smiled and said nothing.

Having already had a ”collaboration” with He Tiantian once, Su Wenyuan was beginning to understand He Tiantian’s schemes.

He went straight to the point very decisively, ”I bet with Second Young Master Jin to see who can perform the most impressive feats with the traditional bow. Whoever performs the most and the most extraordinary feats wins!”

”As for the stake, it’s this horse farm.”

Su Wenyuan gestured with his hand, roughly explaining to He Tiantian, ”I had someone estimate it, this horse farm is worth about 560 million market price. Following the usual rules, if you help me win, I’ll give you one percent commission!”

That’s five or six million.

He Tiantian pretended to be excited, rubbing her hands together, ”Young Master, I heard that one of the real estate developments under your company’s name, Scholarly Family, has already been launched. Could you get me a large flat there?”

The luxury residential area had a housing price of around 30,000 per square meter, and a large flat with almost 200 square meters, plus parking and other fees, would be about six million plus.

”Alright, I’ll get you a large flat. After deducting the market price, any remaining amount, if there is any, I’ll transfer to your bank account!”

Su Wenyuan was very straightforward, and the fact that He Tiantian dared to make such a request showed that she was very confident.

If he could win the bet, Su Wenyuan would not only keep his horse farm, but also gain access to Capital City’s elite through Second Young Master Jin’s connections.

The benefits that could be gained from this were not to be underestimated, five or six million is just the price of a luxury car, Su Wenyuan was certainly not stingy.

”Hey, thank you, Young Master!” He Tiantian grinned from ear to ear.

Her expression, blatantly greedy, lacked any vulgarity or pettiness, and instead, had a cunning and lively charm.

Even Second Young Master Jin, who was convinced that He Tiantian was boasting, just pursed his lips, ”Psh! Winning against an athlete from Cosmic Country and now you think you’re the Divine Archer?”

”Divine Archer? Ah, Second Young Master Jin, you flatter me, I’d love to be a Divine Archer!”

He Tiantian giggled along, aptly throwing a comeback, yet without making Second Young Master Jin feel offended.

She struck just the right tone.

”Enough talk, let’s get on with the competition!”

Second Young Master Jin waved his hand impatiently, signaling someone to bring his bow, and began his performance.

Shooting curves, boomerang arrows, and even shooting apples and flying discs.

Second Young Master Jin’s archery skills were indeed quite strong, likely far superior to Su Wenyuan’s.

And he was using a traditional bow without a stabilizer or a sight, relying entirely on genuine technique.

But as impressive as Second Young Master Jin was, He Tiantian was even more outstanding.

She knew all the tricks that Second Young Master Jin performed, and executed them with ease.

She could even hit two fruits with one arrow, shoot hanging key rings, and shoot arrows while doing a mounted somersault!

Watching He Tiantian casually accomplish feats that seemed possible only in novels or special effects in movies, Second Young Master Jin was totally transfixed.

Su Wenyuan was inwardly amazed, but his face showed a spring breeze-like warmth, as if everything was under his control.

”Good, He Tian, this lad, is truly talented...”

After the contest ended, Su Wenyuan smoothly obtained what he wanted.

Once again, he excitedly shared his joy with his good brother, Ye Chen.

Ye Chen: ...

”Ding! Male lead anger value +1!”
