The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 185: Chapter 107: The Male Lead’s Relative (Eleven)

Could it be that the male lead found out about me helping Su Wenyuan today?

Then, did he misunderstand again? Thinking I went to latch onto Su Wenyuan to leverage connections?

He Tiantian secretly thought.

Although there was no evidence, this possibility was still quite significant.

Otherwise, He Tiantian couldn’t think of any other reason.

After all, in the past few days, He Tiantian had been quite honest.

Except for occasionally pulling a prank and collecting 1 or 2 anger points, she practically hadn’t done anything ridiculously annoying to anger the male lead.

Contemplating hard, He Tiantian took out her mobile phone.

If it really was today’s incident that caused this surge of anger points, then given Ye Chen’s personality, he should be calling her soon—

Sure enough, just as He Tiantian took out her mobile phone, it started ringing.

On the phone screen, it was clearly ”Cousin” calling.

”Hello, bro, what’s up?” He Tiantian pretended to be oblivious, let the phone ring several times before lazily pressing the answer button and spoke in a nonchalant tone.

”He! Thian!! You, you—” Ye Chen was really not lightly angered this time.

In a just concluded call with a good friend, the friend kept ”praising” He Thian.

Saying he was awesome, impressive, and that they had never noticed before; just a smiley, pretty-faced guy who had so much skill.

The friend also mentioned that ”He Thian” had helped him out big time, truly worthy of being a good friend’s cousin, totally reliable!

Of course, Su Wenyuan also casually mentioned that he didn’t let ”He Thian” help for nothing; he had given a rather generous reward.

Ye Chen had been prejudiced against his own cousin for a while now, and they had lived under the same roof for two or three years; he couldn’t say he knew everything about ”He Thian.”

But what kind of person he was and what his special skills were, Ye Chen knew very clearly.

Going over it again and again, Ye Chen couldn’t think of any skills that ”He Thian” might have that would earn Su Wenyuan’s praise.

So, Ye Chen tended to believe that Su Wenyuan was being sarcastic.

Pairing it with the outrageous things ”He Thian” had done before, as well as the ”reward” Su Wenyuan mentioned, Ye Chen guessed: ”He Thian” must be leveraging his, Ye Chen’s, name to scoop some benefits from Su Wenyuan.

Bound by the friendship with Ye Chen, Su Wenyuan didn’t directly refuse ”He Thian” and just reluctantly parted with some money, as if throwing alms.

As for why Su Wenyuan would call him again, Ye Chen had a guess.

Of course, the friend wasn’t coming to complain to Ye Chen, nor because he was upset about giving money, but rather to warn Ye Chen: watch out for your cousin, his actions are truly unreliable!

He Tiantian was fortunate not to know Ye Chen’s wild guesses; otherwise, she would be utterly speechless.

Of course, it’s also not to blame Ye Chen for thinking too badly of ”He Thian”; it’s just that this person had too many priors.

This person himself wasn’t worthy of the male lead’s trust.

At the moment, as He Tiantian received Ye Chen’s call, she had no idea about all of these.

However, even if she had anticipated it, she could not care less.

Her purpose for acting up was solely to collect the male lead’s anger value.

If the male lead misunderstood and hence generated more anger points, He Tiantian could only be happy about it.

”Bro, what exactly do you want? I’m busy here!”

With an impatient tone, He Tiantian sounded as if she could hang up any moment.

”...” Ye Chen, hearing the seemingly unperturbed tone of his cheap cousin, became even more annoyed.

”Ding! Male lead anger value +1!”

He Tiantian raised an eyebrow: Oh ho, bro, you really are supportive, just like my real brother!

”Oh come on, bro, are you going to speak up or not? If not, I’m hanging up!” He Tiantian pressed on, continuously poking at the edge of Ye Chen’s patience.

”Ding! Male lead anger value +1!”

Wahahaha, He Tiantian was feeling ecstatic inside.

To collect even more anger points, He Tiantian went for the kill—without a second word, she hung up the phone!

”Ding! Male lead anger value +2!”

Right after the call was disconnected, the phone rang again.

Without any surprise, the caller ID was still ”Cousin.”

He Tiantian swiftly pressed the reject button.

”Ding! Male lead anger value +3!”

He Tiantian grinned from ear to ear, and the third time the phone rang, she not only pressed the reject button but also deftly turned off her phone.

”Ding! Male lead anger value +5!”

You must be kidding; in just this little while, she had harvested 22 points of the male lead’s anger value.

Including her previously accumulated points, she now held a total of 50 points of the male lead’s anger value.
