Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 946: Chapter 956: Chat With Me

Moreover, even if Changsheng knew they were in danger, what could a child like him do? She couldn’t selfishly involve Changsheng any further.

Shen Qi walked to the window, turned to look at the tightly closed door, and started pushing the window. Unexpectedly, the window was somehow already sealed shut.

”Damn it,” Shen Qi cursed, utterly desperate.

At this moment, there was a knock on the door, followed by Er Gui’s greasy voice, ”Sister, open the door, Brother Er Gui wants to tell you something.”

Zhu Pengfei, disregarding the pain in his body, sat up straight with a jolt, ”If you have something to say, just say it like this, we can hear you.”

”Hey, you little bastard, wasn’t yesterday’s beating enough for you? What does it matter to you when I’m talking to Sister Shen? Don’t think I can’t deal with you just because there’s a door between us.”

Hearing Zhu Pengfei’s voice, Er Gui said with displeasure.

Shen Qi motioned to Zhu Pengfei to stop talking. Although the door was latched from the inside, the doors in her house had old-style latches, which prevent noblemen, not thieves, and Er Gui outside was clearly no gentleman.

”Brother Er Gui, if you have something to say, just say it. My brother said not to let me leave this room until he gets back.” Shen Qi didn’t want to anger Er Gui, so she brought up her brother.

Repeatedly refused, Er Gui said with some displeasure, ”Sister, you probably don’t know, do you? Over the past year, your brother has been making money relying on me. Otherwise, where would your brother get the money to pay for your schooling? What? Is it so difficult for Brother Er Gui to just want you to chat with me?”

Listening to Er Gui’s words, Shen Qi bit her lip tightly. No wonder the money her brother sent recently was increasing. Her brother said it was because his boss appreciated him, but it turned out he was involved with such people.

She didn’t know what her brother was doing now, but her intuition told her that the path her brother took was not ordinary.

What good could come from being with someone like Er Gui?

The brief silence in the room exhausted Er Gui’s patience, with a loud ”bang,” the door was kicked open. Er Gui squinted his eyes, smiling and looking at the frightened girl inside like a startled fawn.

”Sister, don’t be afraid. Didn’t Brother Er Gui say? I just want you to chat with me,” As he said this, Er Gui’s greasy big hand reached forward to grab Shen Qi’s arm and pulled her towards him, his eyes snaking over her chest.

”Let me go.”

Being grabbed by the alcohol-reeking Er Gui, Shen Qi disgustedly tried to shake off his hand, but the disparity in their strength left her feeling hopeless.

”Let go of her, damn it,” Seeing Shen Qi being grabbed, Zhu Pengfei, heedless of the pain in his waist, jumped up from the bed and rushed towards Er Gui, his hands going directly for Er Gui’s neck.

Even if he had to risk his life today, he couldn’t let this guy off.

With a ”thud,” Zhu Pengfei tackled Er Gui to the ground.

Trapped beneath Zhu Pengfei, a fierce glint flashed in Er Gui’s eyes. He merely turned over and pinned Zhu Pengfei beneath him, then raised his fist and punched down.

”I’ve had my eye on you for a long time, brat. You actually want to stop me from doing my business? Let me tell you, even Shen Bin has to look at my face. It’s not just about asking his sister to chat with me, I could take her if I wanted to, and it’s because I think highly of him.”

”Damn your ancestors,” Zhu Pengfei, pressed down and beaten by the burly Er Gui, had no power to resist. He clung tightly to Er Gui’s clothes, gritting his teeth, and even though his vision was fading in and out, he stubbornly refused to pass out.
