Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 910: Chapter 920: What Is Going On Here?

When Mu Xingfeng came out of the bathroom, An Ran had just finished cooking noodles and came out of the kitchen carrying the hot pot.

Noticing a refreshed Mu Xingfeng, she naturally said, ”Go get two bowls. I didn’t think you’d come back tonight, so I didn’t buy any groceries. Let’s just make do with this today.”

Mu Xingfeng walked straight over, glanced at the steaming beef noodles in the pot, and after the little woman set the pot down on the table, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her gently.

Nothing was more comforting than having her at home. Love fills one’s belly, and even if he were to go hungry now, he would welcome it with pleasure.

When he entered, he was preoccupied with his dirty clothes and the smell of sweat, and didn’t take in the surroundings properly.

An Ran pushed against the man’s chest with both hands and raspily said, ”Mu Xingfeng, I’m really hungry.”

”I’m really hungry too,”

Mu Xingfeng responded ambiguously.

An Ran couldn’t help but roll her eyes. That wasn’t what she meant! She pushed against the man in front of her once more, ”Mu Xingfeng, if you keep this up, we’ll really go hungry tonight. The noodles are about to get mushy.”

Not willing to let his little wife go hungry, Mu Xingfeng gave a light bite, then let her go, satisfied, and cheerfully headed to the kitchen.

An Ran raised a hand to rub the spot that had been bitten painfully. This guy, like a puppy, always liked to bite her.

When she saw Mu Xingfeng opening the cupboard, all her emotions dissolved instantly.

”Mu Xingfeng—”

However, it was too late. Just as she called out to stop him, he had already opened the cupboard, and, as bad luck would have it, a bag of instant noodles fittingly rolled out.

Mu Xingfeng instinctively caught it, and when he saw what it was, his expression darkened.

”An Ran, explain to me, what is this all about?” Mu Xingfeng asked coldly.

Did his little wife eat this kind of stuff when he was not home?

”Those... were bought by Xiao Xiao when she came over. You know, Xiao Xiao really likes eating instant noodles,” An Ran said, inching closer on tiptoe, trying to snatch the bag of noodles from the man to destroy the evidence.

”Ha~” The man gave a cold snort, ”An Ran, do you think I’d believe that excuse?”

He really didn’t know that this girl didn’t care about her body so much, it’s one thing to eat snacks, but eating ice cream during her period, using instant noodles as a meal, what else doesn’t he know?

Seeing the man really getting angry, An Ran felt intimidated. She went forward and tugged at his vest, her voice softer than cotton candy, ”Mu Xingfeng, I was wrong, I promise, I won’t use instant noodles as a meal again,” in her heart she added: perhaps just as a midnight snack.

How could Mu Xingfeng truly be mad at her? He was only upset because she didn’t take care of her body.

Hearing her admit fault and apologize, he reached out to pull her into his embrace, ”Honey, come to the Guard Team with your hubby. Let me take care of you. I really can’t stop worrying about you being outside.”

At not even twenty, she was still just a young girl. He only wanted to keep her by his side, to accompany her, take care of her, and give her all his love.
