Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 923: Chapter 933: Returning Kindness with Hatred

The boys also come to the village chief’s house for dinner after tidying up.

When Lu Yi arrived at the village chief’s house, he saw that An Ran had already changed into a T-shirt. Noticing the water stains seeping from her shoulder, he didn’t ask anything but headed straight to the room where the medical supplies were kept. He took out a box of wound medicine and a package of disposable syringes.

Wang Jiaqi saw the items in Lu Yi’s hand and her eyes narrowed, ”Lu Yi, what are you doing with these things? Don’t you know our medical supplies are limited?”

Lu Yi ignored Wang Jiaqi and went straight to An Ran.

Seeing Lu Yi disregarding her, Wang Jiaqi stepped forward again, ”Lu Yi, didn’t you hear what I said? We’re here to support the mountain area and provide free consultations to the elders and children. All the supplies are meant for them. You have no right to take these medicines.”

What she wanted to say even more was that taking the medicines required her approval at the very least.

Lu Yi looked Wang Jiaqi up and down. He had followed the teacher’s arrangement properly along the way, purely because she was a teacher from Nan University, but that didn’t mean he would obey unconditionally, nor did it mean he had no temper.

On the contrary, as Young Master Lu, who was born with a silver spoon, how could he not have a temper?

”I have no right to take these medicines?” Lu Yi looked at Wang Jiaqi coldly, his aura fierce and chilling, causing the village chief and his wife standing behind Teacher Wang to step back two steps, wondering if all city kids were this intimidating.

”Teacher Wang seems to have forgotten how these medicines came here. The Lu Family provided them for the elders in the mountains, and it’s unreasonable to say that our own people can’t use them when they’re hurt. And those vaccines for the children were supplied by the Wenshan Group because of An Ran’s connection. Is Teacher Wang really going to be ungrateful like this?”

After saying this, he ignored Wang Jiaqi, whose face was flushed with anger, and walked towards An Ran.

At this time, An Ran was sitting on a small stool chatting with Shen Qi. Hearing Teacher Wang’s words and then looking at Lu Yi, she understood what he intended to do.

”Lu Yi, I’m fine, it will be better in a couple of days.” An Ran wasn’t worried about Lu Yi being scolded by Teacher Wang. She was mainly feeling dizzy looking at the syringe; she was afraid of pain.

”Do you think those water blisters on your shoulder will get absorbed on their own without being pricked? An Ran, what have you been learning in medicine all day?” Seeing how little regard An Ran had for herself, Lu Yi’s tone wasn’t very nice, and his words came off somewhat annoying.

An Ran pursed her lips, thinking when men got mad, they all spoke in the same manner? Clearly trying to show care, yet their words made you want to bite them.

Seeing An Ran remain silent, Lu Yi sat down beside her, ”Shen Qi, pull down the clothes on her shoulder.”

Considering propriety, Lu Yi didn’t feel comfortable pulling her clothes down himself.

Shen Qi had just spent a long time trying to persuade An Ran to apply some medicine, but An Ran refused to listen. Now that Lu Yi stepped in, she naturally complied, reaching out to pull An Ran’s clothes off her shoulder.

”Hiss—”

The clothes rubbed against the blisters on her shoulder, causing An Ran to suck in a cold breath.

Seeing her shoulder injury again, Lu Yi’s eyes darkened slightly. Hearing An Ran’s sharp intake of breath, he asked, ”Does it hurt?”

An Ran glared at him, ”Seriously, Young Master Lu, isn’t that obvious? Of course it hurts. So don’t make it worse, just let it be—or you could just apply some medicine directly.”

After saying this, An Ran playfully winked at Lu Yi.
