Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 925: Chapter 935: It Has Nothing to Do With My Mom

Before Shen Qi could speak, the little boy standing next to Sister-in-law Wang spoke up.

”Sister, my mom made enough food for everyone, each portion was counted, I helped her count earlier. It was that teacher who gave your two bowls of food to others, it really has nothing to do with my mom.”

”Lei, don’t talk too much,” at this moment, the village chief Zhang Futen stepped forward to stop his son, and then said to his wife, ”Go make another dish for the kids.”

”No need, chief, these dishes are enough for us,” An Ran stepped forward and said.

The other students are almost finished eating, if we wanted to cook for them, we could have finished three dishes in this time.

Just now, when Lei was speaking, the village chief didn’t say anything. It’s obvious, the chief is afraid of offending either side. Seeing Teacher Wang eat their food, he didn’t dare stop it, nor did he dare to ask Sister-in-law Wang to make something special for them. Now he’s afraid they’ll be upset, so he used his son to explain why the food was short.

They are just staying here for a few days, they can at least see this much. Since Teacher Wang is making it difficult on purpose, she doesn’t plan to make things hard for the village chief.

However, Lu Yi saw the two bowls of food on the stove, and his face was extremely displeased, ”The food is limited, and Sister-in-law Wang divided it evenly for everyone. I believe Teacher Wang is aware of this, right? May I ask why Teacher Wang, knowing some haven’t eaten yet, gave their food to other students? What’s the meaning of this?”

If it were truly about the food not being good or insufficient, Lu Yi wouldn’t care, but this is clearly Teacher Wang being harsh on them, this is intolerable. When has he, Young Master Lu, ever suffered this?

”Lu Yi, since you know the food is limited, you should also understand, the medical supplies and these dishes are limited as well. Even though the medicines were provided by the Lu Family, once given to the school, they became the school’s property. From the day they were handed over, there have been records in the school archives. You took a set of medicines and equipment, which is akin to someone eating an extra portion of food, naturally, leaving someone else with less. This concept, if it doesn’t involve one’s own interests, I’m afraid you wouldn’t understand.”

Wang Jiaqi picked at the food in her bowl, speaking faintly. Since Lu Yi made the first mistake, she just made them miss one bowl of food. Even if this were brought up to the principal, she wouldn’t be afraid.

Moreover, given the remote location, by the time they return to school, she can spin the story however she wants.

”Ha,” An Ran chuckled coldly from the side, ”Teacher Wang, you truly never forget your role as an educator, no matter where you are. However, Teacher Wang reminded me of something, since the school kept records when receiving medicines and equipment, we’ll need the Wenshan Group to thoroughly check whether all these items were used for this event, and if they were properly implemented as intended.”

What kind of person is this Wang Jiaqi? Serving as a teacher, with this kind of character, she even reprimanded Lu Yi. Originally intending not to make a big deal of this, An Ran also stepped forward.

”Not just the Wenshan Group, when we return, the Lu Family will also need to investigate thoroughly, to prevent others like me from using their position to take advantage of the public,” Lu Yi chimed in.

”You...what do you mean? Are you suggesting someone embezzled the medicines or something?” A flash of panic passed through Wang Jiaqi’s eyes and her tone quickened, but she quickly calmed down and her expression darkened...
