Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 789: Chapter 802 What is Your Relationship with My Fifth?

Xiao Xiao’s only memory of Sun Wangbei was from that night when she drank too much. She remembered that he was Mu Xingfeng and Lin Junyang’s brother, the big boss of Jiawen Entertainment.

Now that Boss Sun was being so warm, she couldn’t quite handle it. Besides, the hostile looks from the two women beside him made her uncomfortable.

Just as Sun Wangbei was about to approach Xiao Xiao, An Ran reached out and blocked his way, ”Hey, what’s with that look? Don’t you have enough beautiful women around you?”

An Ran tilted her chin, hinting at something.

”Little Sister-in-law, what are you saying? Everyone appreciates beauty. Besides, Miss Xiao and I are old acquaintances. Now that Miss Xiao is in the Imperial City, I must fulfill my duties as the host, right?” Sun Wangbei jested. ”Birds of a feather flock together. Last time, I only had a brief encounter with Miss Xiao in the Imperial City. Today, I discovered that all your friends are as beautiful as you, Little Sister-in-law.”

”Who are you calling birds of a feather? You’re the one flocking,” An Ran retorted bluntly. Sun Wangbei had all the looks and charm, but he was far too flirtatious, hitting on every beautiful woman he saw.

He looked more like a rascal than the boss of Jiawen Entertainment.

Feeling slighted in front of the beauties by his side, Sun Wangbei said with some grievance, ”Little Sister-in-law, why do you act like a different person when Second Brother isn’t around? You’re too unlovable like this. Aren’t you afraid I’ll go tell Second Brother and have him come back and spank you?”

”Sure, let’s see who your Second Brother will spank.” An Ran wasn’t afraid of such threats. If it meant Mu Xingfeng would come back, she’d even welcome the spanking. Heaven knows how much she missed him. The more people she met, the more lively the scene, the more she missed him.

”Young Master Sun, who is this?” The third-rate actress clinging to Sun Wangbei’s arm asked coquettishly while looking at An Ran.

Sun Wangbei wrapped his arm around the actress and introduced, ”This is Young Master Mu’s fiancée, my Second Sister-in-law. Be polite when you see her. Don’t you see even your Master Sun can’t afford to offend her?”

Sun Wangbei’s words were a joke, but also a way to regain some face. Yet, it also set the tone, letting those around him know that she was not someone he could afford to offend.

These small-time actresses, running around the entertainment industry, had some sense. Hearing Sun Wangbei’s words, they got the message.

However, Young Master Sun was only referring to the Miss in front of them, while the one he called a beauty probably didn’t carry the same weight.

Xiao Xiao felt the gazes on her and felt uneasy.

An Ran had already sat down beside Mu Wanxin. Just as Xiao Xiao was about to sit next to An Ran, Sun Wangbei spoke again.

”Miss Xiao, sit over here.” With that, Sun Wangbei pushed the person on his left aside, signaling her to sit near Chen Yankun.

Xiao Xiao was stunned, not expecting Sun Wangbei to call her.

Even though they had met once in Nan’an, it was only when she was drunk and had a brief encounter with the famed boss of Jiawen Entertainment. She couldn’t understand why he was asking her over.

She glanced at An Ran for help. An Ran waved her hand, ”Go on, don’t worry, he won’t eat you. Just have fun.”

In reality, Mu Xingfeng’s brothers were all good people. Sun Wangbei was flirtatious, but only with outsiders. Last time in Nan’an, he probably noticed the delicate relationship between Lin Junyang and Xiao Xiao, so she wasn’t worried about Sun Wangbei having any designs on Xiao Xiao.

It was Xiao Xiao’s first time in such a setting. Although the Mu family was nice, she knew this was a circle beyond her reach. If it weren’t for accompanying An Ran, she might never have been able to come to such a place in her lifetime, let alone sit with people like Young Master Sun or Young Master Chen.

For a moment, she felt a shadow over her heart. She greeted Sun Wangbei and sat down next to him, becoming visibly tense.

Sun Wangbei didn’t notice Xiao Xiao’s nervousness. He just thought the young girl was shy. Seeing Xiao Xiao sitting next to him, he took the opportunity, before Lin Junyang arrived, to ask in a low voice, ”Miss Xiao, what’s your relationship with our Fifth Brother?”

Xiao Xiao knew that Sun Wangbei referred to Lin Junyang as the Fifth Brother. She shook her head, ”Young Master Lin and I are just ordinary friends. No, not even that. Because of Ranran, we’re merely acquaintances.”

”I wouldn’t consider you an acquaintance, you silly woman.”

A cool and disdainful voice came from behind. Lin Junyang had entered the private room at some point. His charming almond-shaped eyes narrowed slightly as he glanced at Xiao Xiao and Sun Wangbei, then took the seat beside Xiao Xiao.

The third-rate actress, hearing this, curled her lips and gave Xiao Xiao a mocking look.

The artists of Jiawen Entertainment knew that President Sun often took his artists to public events. This opportunity was highly sought after by the artists.

After all, he was not only the big boss of Jiawen Entertainment but also one of the Five Young Masters of the Imperial, symbolizing power and status. Any artist accompanying Young Master Sun into the public eye would see their exposure and status rise.
