Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 752: Chapter 765: Be Serious, Mr. An is in a Meeting

Being called ”old comrade” by An Ran, the person they were addressing, President Cui, who had been watching the commotion, turned his chubby face red as a pig’s liver and snorted coldly, ”I heard the new shareholder is a student from Nan University. I thought they would be smart and insightful. I never expected Nan University would have a student so ignorant of respecting one’s seniors and betters.” Despite his words, President Cui had no intention of stepping aside.

He didn’t believe that a greenhorn could do anything to him.

An Ran, unperturbed, pointed at the man and asked Huo Shaohua beside her, ”Vice President Huo, is this one of our senior executives at Wenshan Group? Tsk tsk tsk, Vice President Huo, although our Wenshan Group values capability, the quality of our employees also needs improvement. Someone like this...” she shook her head, ”although I don’t think highly of them, for the sake of Wenshan Group’s veterans, we naturally should look after them. After all, they’ve fought for the company their entire life. If I came here and kicked them out right away, it would seem too heartless. When I passed by the gate earlier, I noticed that the security guards there were quite nimble. How about we switch their positions? Let this old comrade sit in the guard booth, drink some tea, and open the gate peacefully for their remaining years.”

As soon as she finished speaking, the conference room filled with low chuckles, but considering they were all company directors, everyone suppressed their laughter, their shoulders trembling uncontrollably.

Fang Hui, standing behind An Ran, couldn’t hold back and laughed out loud.

Zhang Liang, with a cold expression, intentionally reminded, ”Be serious, Mr. An is holding a meeting.”

”Outrageous!” President Cui slapped the table and stood up. He had mingled in the business world for many years, but now being humiliated by a young girl in front of so many senior executives, he couldn’t swallow this insult.

”I, Cui Deqin, the dignified second-largest shareholder of Wenshan Group, how could I be moved by your words?”

”Oh, you’re a shareholder?” An Ran pretended to be surprised.

Huo Shaohua stepped forward to introduce, ”Mr. An, this is President Cui, holding nine percent of Wenshan Group’s shares.”

An Ran understood. She held seventy percent of the shares, and excluding the portion in public circulation, President Cui held nine percent of the shares. No wonder he was so arrogant.

But with only nine percent of the shares in his hand, he probably wouldn’t dare to openly oppose her like this; seeing a group of executives watching the spectacle, An Ran had a good idea of what was going on.

”So it’s President Cui. I apologize, my husband spoiled my temper. When he gave me the shares of Wenshan Group, he told me that from now on, I have the final say in this company, manage it however I like. And if I really can’t handle it, I should just sell it off for pocket money. I also find schooling quite boring and thought managing a company might be fun. Could it be that what my husband said isn’t right? Does my seventy percent shareholding not count?”

As An Ran spoke, she looked at Lawyer Ouyang behind her.

Lawyer Ouyang today had his eyes widened. He always assumed Mrs. Mu to be a soft and cute girl, worried about her handling such a situation. Unexpectedly, she surprised him again. Indeed, Young Master Mu had extraordinary vision.

Upon hearing An Ran’s question, Lawyer Ouyang stepped forward and said, ”Sir’s words are correct. Madam holds seventy percent of Wenshan Group’s shares and has the largest authority.”

”Oh, is that so? Then I am relieved,” An Ran seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, her demeanor relaxed quite a bit.

”Humph, ignorant brat. The largest shareholder only has the most authority. But to decide the appointment or dismissal of the President, it still needs to be agreed upon by the board of directors.”

Cui Deqin snorted coldly once more.
