Peerless Medical Emperor

”Da Hu, just help me find one. Preferably someone else’s wife. You know, I’ve never had a taste of that before,” Ma John said with a lecherous smile.

Ma Dahua felt a wave of disgust. Although he’d done plenty of unethical things, handing over someone from the Dragon Country to a man from the Outer Island like Ma John was something he found despicable. He frowned, trying to think of an excuse to get out of it.

”I’ve had too much to drink. I’m going to the restroom,” Ma Dahua said, standing up and leaving his seat.

He went outside, took out his phone, and called his boss, Chen Qingdi.

Chen Qingdi was an exceptionally brilliant man. After hearing Ma Dahua’s story, he mulled it over for a moment and came up with a plan.

”Da Hu, turn the tables on him. You’ll help me disguise myself as a woman and deliver me to Ma John. We’ll take this chance to deal with him,” Chen Qingdi said coldly.

Ma Dahua was shocked. He never thought Chen Qingdi would come up with such a plan. But he knew that Chen Qingdi was a man of his word; once he made a decision, he wouldn’t change it.

So, Ma Dahua followed Chen Qingdi’s instructions, returned to his seat, and said to Ma John, ”I know a woman who fits your requirements perfectly. But you need to promise me something.”

”What is it?” Ma John asked, puzzled.

”I need you to do something for me. If you promise, I’ll help you find that woman. And you’ll give me one hundred thousand US Dollars. That’s not too much, is it?” Ma Dahua said mysteriously.

As soon as Ma John heard there was someone else’s wife for him to play with, he agreed to Ma Dahua’s request without hesitation. He had no idea he was walking step by step into Chen Qingdi’s trap.

In a private, high-class room at the Rose Fragrance Grand Hotel, Ma John, one of the Three Guardians, was indulging in the fine wine and delicacies Ma Dahua had prepared for him.

He seemed to be in an exceptionally good mood, showing no resistance to this luxurious indulgence.

Ma Dahua entered the room with a humble smile. He walked up to Ma John and bowed his head.

”Third Guardian, I’m willing to join the Evil God Sect and become your loyal underling. The hundred thousand US Dollars I asked for last time... that was actually just a joke. I’ve already left it at the hotel as a deposit.”

Ma John nodded in satisfaction, looking at Ma Dahua with appreciation.

”Good, very good. I very much admire your loyalty and intelligence. I’ll be sure to save a good position for you in the Evil God Sect.”

Ma Dahua was secretly overjoyed. He concealed his excitement and replied respectfully, ”Thank you for your favor, Third Guardian. I definitely won’t let you down.”

Ma John smiled, satisfied. He waved his hand and said, ”Go on, get ready. We’ll return to the Evil God Sect tomorrow.”

After leaving the room, Ma Dahua immediately called his boss.

After hearing Ma Dahua’s report, his boss, Chen Qingdi, calmly instructed, ”Keep stringing Ma John along. Best if you can fool him completely.”

Ma Dahua was startled but didn’t dare to delay. He immediately replied, ”Yes, Boss. I’ll keep at it.”

Meanwhile, in another room at the Rose Fragrance Grand Hotel, a different dramatic conversation was unfolding.

Chen Qingdi was discussing Ma Dahua’s new plan with another one of his trusted subordinates.

”What do you think of Ma Dahua’s new plan?” Chen Qingdi asked.

”I think it’s an excellent plan,” the trusted subordinate replied.

”Ma John is an easy person to deceive. As long as we keep applying pressure, he’ll be led by the nose for sure.”

Chen Qingdi thought for a moment, then said, ”I agree with you. We must press on and make Ma John believe our lies. Only then can we use him to deal with the Evil God Sect.”

The trusted subordinate nodded in agreement. ”Yes, Boss. We’ll keep at it.”

Ma John sat in the private room, his face dark. He looked at Ma Dahua and, without any pleasantries, directly criticized the White Tiger Gang’s mediocre performance, stating that the Evil God Sect headquarters was quite displeased with him.

”Sect Leader, you know we at the White Tiger Gang have been working hard, but our strength is limited, after all. Our performance certainly can’t compare to the other major gangs,” Ma Dahua explained cautiously.

”Hmph, working hard? I think you’re just trying to brush me off! You think I don’t know about the shady things you do behind my back?” Ma John said with disdain.

Ma Dahua cursed inwardly but kept a smile on his face. ”Sect Leader, please, calm down. We will absolutely work harder to secure more benefits for you.”

Ma John said nothing, just stared coldly at Ma Dahua, making him feel unnerved. Steeling himself, Ma Dahua continued, ”Sect Leader, how about this? From now on, the White Tiger Gang will offer you twenty million US Dollars as a tribute. We guarantee you won’t be disappointed.”

Ma John remained silent, merely glancing at Ma Dahua, a look that made his hair stand on end. Ma Dahua had no choice but to press on. ”Sect Leader, this is the White Tiger Gang’s entire savings. If you still feel it isn’t enough, then we’ll just have to think of something else.”

Ma John finally spoke. ”You know what I want.” His voice was flat, but it sent a chill through Ma Dahua.

Ma Dahua could only nod and say, ”Sect Leader, I understand what you mean. I’ll make the arrangements as soon as possible.”

Seeing Ma Dahua back down, Ma John’s expression softened considerably.

He pondered for a moment before saying, ”How about this. You slip me a card with ten million US Dollars on it, as your tribute. I’ll put in a good word for you at headquarters.”

’Old fox,’ Ma Dahua cursed inwardly, but he maintained his smiling facade. ”Sect Leader, I’m eternally grateful for your help. This is just a small token from the White Tiger Gang. Please, you must accept it.” As he spoke, he handed a room key to Ma John.

”Inside this room is a peerless beauty, and she’s another man’s wife. I hope the Third Guardian has a good time,” Ma Dahua added.

Seeing that Ma Dahua was so accommodating, Ma John’s mood brightened. He took the room key, clapped Ma Dahua on the shoulder, and said, ”Good. Then I’ll go and meet this peerless beauty. Remember to transfer the money to my account.”

After seeing Ma John off, Ma Dahua breathed a sigh of relief. He wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and thought, ’I’ve finally gotten rid of that old fox.’ Then, he took out a room key and muttered to himself, ”Who exactly is the woman in this room? It couldn’t be... her, could it?” His curiosity piqued, he decided to go check it out for himself.

Ma John went to the designated room with the key card. He took a deep breath at the door, then pushed it open and entered.

The room was empty except for a table laden with food and wine and a single chair. He sat down and began to enjoy the meal by himself, and before he knew it, he was drunk.
