Chapter 1066: Chapter 68: Demon Scythe

Su Xiao walked to the two Demon Scythes and touched one of them with his finger.

[Tip: Bind the growth-type weapon ’Demon Scythe · Habo Diya (Gold)’ or not.]

[Before binding growth-type equipment, it cannot be stored in storage space.]

[After binding growth-type equipment, this equipment cannot be sold.]

[93% chance of dropping growth-type weapon upon user’s death.]

...

Seeing this series of prompts, Su Xiao squinted his eyes, realizing a dangerous piece of information: ’93% chance of dropping growth-type weapon upon user’s death’.

Dragon Slash belongs to growth-type weapons, meaning that after Su Xiao’s death, the enemy has a high chance of obtaining Dragon Slash.

[Detecting that the Hunter has already bound growth-type equipment, can simultaneously bind growth-type equipment: 1/3.]

Another crucial piece of information, everyone can bind up to three growth-type equipment at a time. Although growth-type equipment cannot be sold, it can be chosen to melt down, yet to date, Su Xiao hasn’t heard of anyone melting down growth-type equipment.

[Bind the growth-type weapon ’Demon Scythe · Habo Diya (Gold)’ or not. If not bound, the weapon will disappear in 25 minutes and 18 seconds.]

While Su Xiao was contemplating how to handle the two Demon Scythes, a female voice suddenly came to his ear.

”Choose me, I’m better than that lousy knife at your waist.”

Su Xiao was momentarily stunned upon hearing the voice, then realized what was going on.

”No wonder it’s called Demon Scythes, I see now.”

Su Xiao looked at the two Demon Scythes on the ground, realizing they possess consciousness.

”Human, you’ve defeated my previous host, you’re stronger than her, so you’re qualified to become my new host, it’s your honor.”

The Demon Scythe, or rather the Spirit of Demon Scythe · Habo Diya, began to entice Su Xiao, implying that obtaining her was something worth claiming.

Undoubtedly, these two Demon Scythes were troublesome. Before transforming, Rose used these Demon Scythes, but after transforming, she no longer fought with them.

Comparing fists to Demon Scythes, the attack power of Demon Scythes is undoubtedly stronger, yet Rose chooses to fight unarmed, even though she possesses growth-type weapons.

Many indications suggest that these Demon Scythes were likely not cultivated by Rose, so the consciousness within the Demon Scythes wouldn’t fully obey Rose, may even rebound on her. Su Xiao remembered what Rose once said:

’Habo Diya, stop struggling, you can’t win against me.’

The name of the Demon Scythe is indeed Habo Diya. After Rose’s transformation, she intended to erode Rose’s consciousness to take over.

Su Xiao began to carefully examine the Demon Scythes on the ground, noting their sharp blades, about 50 cm in length. From a certain perspective, scythes also belong to the category of knives.

Thinking of this, Su Xiao’s eyes seemed to sparkle.

”You are called Habo Diya?”

Su Xiao touched the Demon Scythe, attempting to negotiate with the Spirit of Demon Scythe.

”Exactly.”

The Spirit of Demon Scythe · Habo Diya is very arrogant.

”You’re right about before, getting you is indeed lucky for me.”

Su Xiao showed a gentle smile on his face, while Bubu Wang beside him sighed and mourned for a few seconds for the two Demon Scythes on the ground.

”Eh～”

Habo Diya was slightly surprised, then softened her attitude and was no longer as arrogant as before.

”Human, you have foresight, choose me, I will become your strongest ability.”

”Of course... I can.”

Su Xiao activated the Blue Steel Shadow Energy within him, while A Mu stood behind him, and threw Apollo to Bubu Wang.

This was a precautionary measure. If things changed, A Mu would immediately restrict Su Xiao’s actions, and Bubu Wang would use Apollo to destroy the Demon Scythe.

[Tip: You have bound ’Demon Scythe · Habo Diya’.]

As soon as Su Xiao bound Demon Scythe · Habo Diya, a blood-red mist rushed toward Su Xiao’s arm. A Mu’s large hands grabbed Su Xiao’s two arms. Now that Su Xiao was severely injured, his state would decline before his injuries healed, yet A Mu’s 75 power attributes were enough to restrict Su Xiao’s actions.

Blood-red mist entered Su Xiao’s arm, and a consciousness invaded his body from his arm.

”Human, your choice was correct.”

The voice was Habo Diya’s. Her consciousness entered Su Xiao’s body and immediately tried to invade Su Xiao’s brain to suppress his consciousness and take over.

The wish is beautiful, but the reality is cruel.

As soon as Habo Diya entered Su Xiao’s body, she noticed a kind of light blue energy, she didn’t care about this light blue energy.

”Ah!!”

After a scream, Habo Diya rushed out of Su Xiao’s body, retracting back into the Demon Scythe.

”What... what the hell is that.”

Habo Diya’s voice showed slight fear, clearly, she was deemed as an invading external consciousness by Blue Steel Shadow Energy, which was indeed the case.

Su Xiao arched his eyebrow, realizing things were simpler than he expected. He successfully bound these two Demon Scythes, strangely, he couldn’t use them.

Su Xiao didn’t mind this, as he didn’t plan on using these Demon Scythes in battle.

The plot of Demon Scythe · Habo Diya failed, making the atmosphere somewhat awkward.

”Human, you’ve passed my test. Now you have the qualification to use me.”

Habo Diya tried to ease the awkwardness, as she was now Su Xiao’s weapon, and if she couldn’t handle Su Xiao, her disposition was entirely up to Su Xiao’s whim.

Facing the always malicious Spirit of Demon Scythe, Su Xiao’s expression didn’t change, maintaining the ’gentle’ smile on his face.

Su Xiao certainly wouldn’t flip directly on ’a large amount of Blade Value’, only after returning to Reincarnation Paradise, when Dragon Slash upgrades to Golden Quality, huh...

For now, he must first stabilize the Spirit of Demon Scythe, Blue Steel Shadow Energy can prevent Su Xiao from being eroded by Demon Scythe · Habo Diya, but the opponent might have other abilities.

Su Xiao picked up the two Demon Scythes on the ground, and the attributes of the Demon Scythes appeared.
