Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”When you were thrown in by your mother, I was responsible for catching you. At that time, there would always be some souls from the Endless Sea that, due to the absence of a connection, would accidentally drift beyond the world.

Even though the mother’s consciousness was already in a deep sleep at that time, she still possessed such an instinct.”

This situation Alka had seen before, he had also witnessed it twice through time reversal.

He also knew of the existence of such a situation.

This is also why they need to spread their reputation, using themselves as a helm to hold onto those mortal souls.

”When you were thrown in, and I caught you, I immediately noticed something was off about you.”

Saying this, the Holy Mother looked at Alka with a smile and said, ”At that time, I knew you weren’t a soul of our world; you just happened to appear on the world’s edge for some reason and were mistaken by the mother as one of the world’s souls.”

Saying this, the Holy Mother gently waved her hand, and a baby appeared in the empty cradle.

”This is once you.”

Looking at the baby in the cradle, Alka always felt a bit strange.

Is he looking at his younger self?

Moreover, it can’t be considered his younger self, but rather his soul.

”Although you are not a soul of this world, you were nonetheless thrown in, and for this broken world, an ordinary soul from the Otherworld is not particularly special.

However, just because you don’t belong to this world, it’s necessary to place you in this cradle, allowing you to merge with the world.”

Speaking, the Holy Mother suddenly sighed and said, ”I originally thought you would grow strong here, but after all, I’ve never nurtured a soul from the Otherworld, so your growth was different from what I imagined.

I had no choice but to put you into the world when you were still a baby, not allowing you to be born like a normal person, but letting you enter a body perfectly compatible with your soul, carrying your soul’s memories.”

Listening to this explanation, Alka roughly understood.

It means he crossed into the original Alka’s body was precisely because Alka died at that time, and coincidentally this body was very suitable for him.

Moreover, it happened to be under the jurisdiction of the Holy Mother because it was a Home Island. The Holy Mother naturally placed his soul over.

Thus, he was reborn or, say, crossed over.

So that’s how it was.

Although Alka had once returned to his time, backing his time through reversal, the process of reversal didn’t include his soul in this region of the Holy Mother Capital.

This was, after all, a supreme existence.

Normal time reversal would also shield situations related to the supreme.

So this was his first time knowing his experiences in the Holy Mother Realm and more specific reasons.

”You are not originally from this world, so I never demanded you to do anything for this world.”

At this, the Holy Mother looked at him, ”So, when you are willing to do something for this world, I am very happy and also hope you can continue.”

Alka nodded his head.

This was his own intention.

”Go now, the order of the Four Divines has been issued. Even in this special time, those who hold the Tower of Trial must surrender it, even if they are unwilling.

Time is pressing; as it flows, our disadvantage will grow larger, despite there being many efforts.

But some things are unavoidable, and I hope you can bring some change to this world.

Destiny is unpredictable.”

Alka nodded his head.

Hands crossed, he bowed and then disappeared from the spot.

The Holy Mother watched the point where Alka disappeared, unsure what was running through her mind.

”Holy Mother,” Meniyex called out beside her.

”Let us go,”

The Holy Mother said and together with Meniyex, vanished into her Divine Kingdom.

Outside the world, the places representing the Holy Mother lit up once more.

The gods who betrayed still watched this world intently, strengthening their forces and subjecting it to their influence.

Meanwhile, the Four Divines and the newly ascended Divine began to use their power together, trying their best to pull and counteract the force of the gods.

They jointly formed a barrier to protect this world because the original practical barrier had long since disappeared.

But in caring for the world, in protecting the entire world, they also had to defend against other existences.

Though many in numbers and knowledgeable about this world, the gods’ power inevitably started to infiltrate the world.

Manipulating and influencing.
