Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Having finished understanding the basic situation on the Island.

Everyone looked at the towering flesh mountains ahead.

The way these flesh masses are piled up on the Island, Alka observed that the highest point was probably over a hundred meters.

These piles of flesh indeed looked like colossal entities.

Alka turned to look at Anres and the team following him, noting that the strength of Councilor Anres was roughly at the newcomer’s level in Tier Six, while a hooded figure behind him was actually the strongest in the team, having reached the Perfection of Tier Six.

There was only one being at the Fifth Stage and one at the Fourth Stage among those following.

The rest of the followers were all at Perfection in Tier Three, the pinnacle for Touchers.

Based on their understanding of this power, the Secret Spellcasting Council was more akin to a scholars’ council.

More like a research organization.

Moreover, this power had a very close relationship with the Holy Machine Church.

”Maka, go capture a sample.” Anres said.

The tall figure at Perfection in Tier Six nodded and pulled down his hood.

Only then did his true form become visible.

He was a burly bald man covered in tattoos resembling Spells, even the smooth scalp carried various designs.

Alka saw two pieces of Treasure on him, one gold and one orange.

In front of everyone’s eyes, he walked over with empty hands.

About 100 meters away, facing a staggering flesh monster, he waved his empty hand.

Whether others saw it or not, Alka saw chains formed from some kind of power gathering and flying out with his swing.

Almost instantly, it reached the side of the monster, binding it completely, and then dragged it over.

The whole process was extraordinarily rapid, taking only two seconds from the action to pulling it over.

Yet even in such a short time, the flesh puppet almost showed no sign of movement while being dragged over, but it still startled other nearby flesh puppets.

These startled flesh monsters immediately accelerated, losing their previous staggering twisted appearance.

Using any limbs available to them, they commenced frantically jumping, crawling, running.

In a near-charge stance, they rushed towards the person named Maka.

Facing the herd of charging flesh monsters.

This person Maka remained unperturbed.

With another wave of his hand, more invisible chains flew out, binding these monsters one by one, dragging them over.

These monsters seemed as if controlled by some mysterious force from a distance, floating in the air immobile.

Once the surrounding alerted monsters had basically arrived.

This person Maka controlled about 11 heads while dragging these monsters to the camp.

Looking at the group of flesh monsters, Anres pointed at one seemingly less strange one and placed it in front of himself, still bound by the transparent chains.

Then he looked back and selected two people: ”Danny, Bona, you two come over to be my assistants. The rest watch from the side, record while you’re at it.”

The whole team immediately moved into action, Alka and the others watched from the side.

However, the dissection process was very slow, and as it continued, Alka gradually couldn’t comprehend it.

The understanding of these creatures was not deep.

Thinking for a moment, he turned to Simon and Matilda.

”I’ll leave this to you two.”

Then considered again and said, ”Lucilia, Chadite, Pororo. You guys come with me to check outside.”

The three nodded.

Then the four of them left the simple camp to scout ahead.

As Chadite walked, silver ripples continuously probed ahead into the distance.

”There are many monsters, at least a hundred...however, these monsters aren’t very strong. Only a few holding Treasure with strength at the Fifth Stage would suffice to slaughter all these creatures.”

As Chadite perceived, he spoke.

Since they had no intention to hide themselves, surrounding monsters started noticing their presence, coming one by one.

Pororo stood in place and gently waved, a killing wind appeared mysteriously around them.

The weak storm formed with lightning.

For these flesh body monsters, encountering Pororo was like meeting their nemesis, immediately shattering on contact. Positions touched turned to dust, these monsters turned into fragments dropping on the ground.

From this, it could be seen that these monsters were very weak and almost devoid of intelligence.

”Consistently killing like this isn’t a solution, unsure if these creatures will be useful later.”

Thinking it over, Alka snapped his fingers.

A shattering mirror effect appeared around everyone, making them seem invisible.

Soon, nearby monsters appeared to lose their target and began aimlessly wandering again.

Seeing the situation, Alka stood in place, pondered, and waved his hand not far away.

A twisted phantom appeared, then became Alka’s image.

The monsters, upon seeing it, immediately swarmed toward it, shattering the phantom into pieces.

This went on for a while.

”These monsters rely on sight and sound detection, showing almost no signs of using Magic Power for sensing.”
