Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Simply put, there’s no need to achieve some conceptual invisibility like Alka does, just a normal optical invisibility is enough to deal with these monsters’ typical pursuit.

Maintaining this state, the group began walking around, observing as they went.

The appearance of these monsters mostly resembles a state of flesh and limbs pieced together.

Like toys that can be conveniently assembled and installed, forming an extremely twisted figure.

Just looking at it makes normal people feel some psychological discomfort.

Soon, they arrived next to those flesh tendrils.

The piled-up flesh looked like a tumor, and it was linked with the surrounding mountain stones and buildings with something resembling vascular fascia, like a spider web.

And on these spider web-like vascular fascias lied flesh-made membranes.

Due to its slight transparency, sunlight could penetrate somewhat, making these flesh fascia shimmer.

The air was filled with a kind of sweet cloying scent.

Making people extremely uncomfortable.

In these blood vessels, some liquid was flowing through parts composed of flesh, and they pulsed lightly as if breathing.

”What kind of cult ritual and power could spread so much flesh? It’s like a mountain.”

Hearing Chadite’s words, Alka shrugged.

Who would know that?

The group chatted leisurely as they began walking around the edges formed by the flesh, observing.

Because they made themselves invisible, the surrounding monsters saw them as nothing and let them wander around freely in their territory.

At that moment.

Chadite noticed an anomaly through the spread-out waves.

”There’s something going on here, follow me.”

With those words, Chadite led the way ahead, guiding them around.

Then they arrived at a flesh opening.

Around this flesh opening, though there were also those disgusting vascular and fascia things, this place looked like a wound.

The wound was roughly oval, leading deep inside, like a tunnel.

On the surrounding flesh walls, there were tiny tendrils, and inside the tunnel, some secreted adhesive mucus could be seen.

Within the mucus was a hint of blood red.

Most importantly, they saw a group of twisted flesh monsters, transporting something inside.

They were transporting chunks of flesh fragments.

”Those things... aren’t they what we just killed?” Chadite asked.

Pororo nodded.

”I was the one who killed them, there’s still a little bit of my attack’s aura left on them.”

These transported fragments were the pieces of the flesh monsters that charged at them before they went invisible and were shattered.

While they were wandering, the monster remnants left on the spot by them were collected by these monsters and transported into this flesh mountain.

The group looked at each other.

And stood still, starting to observe closely.

After transporting their limbs outside, these flesh monsters themselves also walked into the tunnel. Once the last monster was inside, the wound closed up, the flesh merged, and the entrance scene disappeared as if it never existed.

”Closed? I thought it would always remain open,” Alka said.

”Do you think that entrance might still exist behind this flesh?” Chadite asked Alka, looking at him after hearing this.

Alka nodded, this was exactly what he meant.

Having an idea, he immediately took action.

The body shattered and converged.

A clone formed by combining elemental power with mirror and dream realm appeared in place.

A bit like a dream realm clone from before.

Except this time, it was a clone split from the dream realm and mirror power, practically indistinguishable from the original.

The only difference was the lack of strength, about the Fifth Stage level.

Like the previous dream realm clone, if it dies too often, it will affect his mental state.

However, those situations are past history, now Alka’s death won’t impact his mental state, or the mental impact is quickly recovered in the dream realm faster than in reality.

Because his strength in the dream realm is nearing the Ninth Stage.

The gap with reality has widened greatly, making it hard for reality to mentally influence him.

Seeing this, the three nodded, after all, it’s just a clone.

Alka sat down on the spot.

”Keep a lookout for me, I need to focus on the clone,” he said.

Then he took out a large piece of mirror, placing it in front of the group.

”I will be streaming the images in real-time, help me see if there’s anything I might be missing.”

The three nodded.

Then Alka closed his eyes.

The expressionless clone suddenly became animated, as if it had gained a soul.

After all, it’s a reproduction of his own body, except for being weaker, nothing else had changed. Alka immediately adjusted.

Then he went to the place that had just closed up, a blade formed of mirror and elemental power appeared in his hand, slicing lightly.

The flesh was immediately cut open, revealing the passage inside.

As it was harmed, the surrounding flesh rapidly converged into a tentacle-like long whip, attacking Alka.
