Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Although some siblings gave up, ultimately there are still some who remain with us. So we began collecting mother’s fragments in the Star Realm.

Then secretly transported these fragments to a faraway place and reassembled them into what is now the Endless Sea.”

Upon saying this, the Holy Mother’s face displayed an expression unsure whether it was a smile or sorrow, but one could see the gaze filled with memories.

”At that time, we secretly reassembled mother and revived her. Then hid her away, in a place where no one could find.”

”That’s why they couldn’t find it.”

Alka nodded upon hearing this, which means that when the Endless Sea was first pieced together, those Divine beings who betrayed were completely unaware, or they knew, but not the location.

After all, the Star Realm is vast and boundless, without borders.

”Although eventually, mother fell into a deep sleep due to the pain, she still retained her physical form.

At that time, we had become strong enough and gradually moved the world back to where it once was.

Moreover, those traitors had parted ways over ten thousand years ago; having betrayed even mother, how could they be expected to work together again with one heart?

Throughout the ten thousand years, so many of them died from mutual slaughter.” At this point, Alka clearly saw a smile on the Holy Mother’s face.

It makes sense.

It was originally to wash away the shame and for power that they betrayed the world where they were nurtured; how can you expect them to care about so-called kinship?

And since they are siblings emerging from the same world, mutual slaughter to seize power from one another is more fitting than power from other worlds.

Conflicts spark, mutual devouring is inevitable.

For the Divine, tens of thousands of years is a long time.

The main point is that two among the Four Gods have achieved supremacy in the Star Realm.

Although there are differences among the supreme beings, these two are enough to protect this world.

To become such beings, what kind of journey did the Holy Mother and Sea God undergo, Alka certainly does not know, but evidently, it was not a happy process.

”However, though they are not ready to destroy this world yet, it is merely due to their mutual apprehension, not because they don’t want to.

So when the Endless Sea arrived here, the former Divines would occasionally watch from the surroundings, casting their powers upon this world.

The barriers we set up could prevent these Divines from entering the Endless Sea, but not their powers.

Though unwilling to admit it, this world was once their world as well.”

Hearing this, Alka understood roughly.

He himself still had some doubts.

After all, the Church of the flesh, and Alka had learned of the Divine battle in the sky not long before, less than half a year ago.

How could such a large Church develop in this world in just six months, capable of producing two Scepter-level treasures to construct bodies for the descent of Divines?

As long as the Divines cannot intervene directly, relying solely on their influence would not be so rapid.

Now it seems, these Divines have long laid their plans in this world.

By exerting their influence, they raised numerous Cult Groups.

”And this time, due to the large-scale invasion by Demons, these betraying Divines have found a deadly opportunity.

Currently, all Cult Groups affiliated with the betraying Divines in the Endless Sea are rampant, obstructing reinforcements from various places, and dismantling our logistics islands.”

At this point, the Holy Mother looked at Alka.

”The Four Gods, and even the newer Divines, realize the severity of the problem; right now, we don’t have much power to aid the Endless Sea.

We must construct a protective barrier with our power to prevent external threats from entering internally.

But internally, issues are beyond our capacity for now, and as time progresses, the internal issues will become increasingly severe.”

Looking at the Holy Mother staring into his eyes.

Alka solemnly nodded.

”I understand.”

In other words, fearing the world being destroyed from the inside.

As she spoke, the Holy Mother suddenly smiled and waved her hands again, and they appeared once more in the manor.

But not on the stone bench outside the manor as they had been, but inside the manor. Truth be told, despite Alka’s many visits to the Holy Mother’s Divine Kingdom, it was his first time entering the building’s interior.

At this moment, he finds himself in a nursery.

There are numerous cradles here, woven seemingly from vines and wheat.

Inside, soft white fabric lays the mattresses of each cradle.

But among these cradles, many are empty.

Some children watch sporadically from nearby.

Next to them are two empty cradles.

”Do you see this cradle?”

The Holy Mother points at one of the cradles.

It’s no different from the others.

Alka looks at the cradle.

Inexplicably, he reaches out and shakes it, a familiar feeling rises in his heart.

”Very familiar.”

Upon hearing this, the Holy Mother smiles.

”This is your former cradle.”

So that’s how it is.

No wonder when Alka looked at this cradle, especially when reaching out to shake it, he felt the familiarity emanating from deep within his soul.
