Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The starry night sky was suddenly torn apart.

The sky became brilliantly clear in an instant, throwing down a blinding light.

Once again, it was the unchanging daylight, no different from countless others, save for the clouds drifting across the sky.

The sun was forever hanging in the sky.

Down below, the fortress gates.

Alka and others had already arrived here, as well as those who attended yesterday’s meeting.

Those who came were definitely joining this action.

Rui Kai, Talune, Chana Liss.

These powerful Fifth Stage individuals stood by the gate, looking at the others.

Rui Kai took a step forward, saying to the group, ”I believe you all reviewed the documents yesterday—three target points, from right to left.

These will be approached by us, each leading our respective team.”

”Let me introduce myself, I am from the Holy Machine Church. In combat, I can exert significant power. Skilled at taking on many, and when facing formidable enemies, I have sufficient means to delay them.

However, in one-on-one situations at the same level, it’s best not to get close to me as I might not be able to hold back.”

Finishing this, he gestured with his right hand towards the Silent Saintess and introduced:

”This is Talune from the Holy Mother Church. She cannot speak, and communication can be difficult without familiarity. Very powerful, her Holy Light abilities have strong targeted destructive power against special undead infused with half necromantic force.

She can also protect others during battle.

The last one is a Merfolk from the Seed of Life, a Cultivator. In this saltwater-swamped area, they can unleash great combat skill. In battle, they can also provide team buffs.”

Rui Kai briefly explained their directions and abilities to the group.

”Now, you can choose your leader based on your abilities and strength.

Each leader requires two Fourth Stage members and one Third Stage.”

”Choose now.”

Rui Kai did not probe the group’s privacy, instead leaving the choice to them, letting them choose a leader based on their circumstances.

It was indeed a good plan.

For this action, everyone had minimal collaborative capability.

They hardly knew each other.

After the action, cooperation wasn’t guaranteed, thus no prying into secret information.

But everyone needed to face this prudently, knowing that now was not the time to act carelessly, risking their lives.

Chana Liss eagerly waved towards Julia.

Julia thought for a while and then went over to her. Seeing this, Chana Liss smiled, reached out, and grasped Julia’s hand.

Alka turned to Chadite and said, ”Let’s join the Saintess’s team.”

Chadite nodded, and the two went to stand behind the Silent Saintess.

The Silent Saintess also smiled and nodded at them.

Working with people from the same faith and church clearly provided much more freedom.

Pororo naturally joined Rui Kai.

Rui Kai looked at Pororo, and couldn’t resist patting his arm.

Given Pororo’s large stature, this was the only reachable spot.

”You certainly are strong; you must be the Storm Champion under the Sea God?”

Pororo nodded, then showed off his right arm muscle.

As his muscles flexed, electric patterns glowed on his shoulder.

Seeing this, Rui Kai nodded with satisfaction.

”Truly a remarkable team.”

It’s known that the Sea God Church is the largest in this world, relying heavily on the Sea God’s ocean to bind scattered fragments after the world’s breakup.

Naturally, its followers, along with the Sea God itself, hold significant advantages in this ocean-dominant world.

The Storm Champions are exceptionally powerful combatants within the church.

Undoubtedly strong individuals at the same stage.

Jilenna also arrived at Alka’s side: ”We’re team members once again.”

Chadite exchanged smiles with Jilenna, and they embraced.

With Chadite’s acquaintances, and members who had good relations with the Flower Fairy of the Holy Mother Church,

Jilenna naturally chose their side.

Besides, they had cooperative experience before, already holding basic trust—forming a team, enabling better mutual assistance.

Once everyone chose, the three teams were formed.

Julia’s team, besides fellow Merfolk, comprised the young man who directed yesterday’s meeting, and another silent member of the Holy Machine Church.

Pororo’s side included a Holy Mother Church member, alongside another individual whose church affiliation was uncertain—his attire lacked any distinct symbols.

But his aura suggested he was a skilled fighter, albeit somewhat gloomy and very silent, hardly ever speaking.

”Since we’ve sorted the teams, let’s commence our missions and promptly return upon completing our objectives.

A team will be stationed at the boundary to support us.”

The Fulna Gardener standing on the wall nodded to the special task force below.
