Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Came drifting over, giving her a hug.

”Thank you, dear sister.”

Meister was slightly taken aback, looking at Julia with a tender gaze.

”Hold steadfast to your will, the embrace of life is always open to you. You are forever a child of life.”

Saying this, once again gently hugging Julia, touching her forehead with her own.

Following the dangling green vines from the sky, slowly drifting upward.

It was then that she turned her gaze to Alka and the others.

”Thank you all as well, may abundant vitality fill your bodies.”

As her words fell, her soul dissipated, and even her body lying below had vanished without a trace.

All that was left was a pile of green leaves wrapped within the vines.

A gentle breeze blew past, spreading these green leaves across the sky, flying towards various parts of the marsh.

Watching the myriad green leaves dancing in the sky.

The two merfolk closed their eyes and prayed silently.

Sometime later, Julia also closed her eyes.

With the ceremony completed, after a simple farewell, both sides returned to the fortress. Alka and company also returned to their resting place, where Julia remained somewhat silent throughout the way back.

Alka and the others did not console her, knowing she just needed some quiet time alone.

Upon returning to his room, Alka spread out the documents.

From among them, he pulled out a map, the very one that young member of the Holy Machine Church had just displayed during the meeting.

He spread the map on the table.

Alka blinked.

He had already noticed during the meeting, the treasure linked to the spring of life left by the Merfolk Life Master at the boundary of life and death.

It was emitting golden light points.

But at that moment, with all eyes on him, it was impossible for him to reach out and touch it—that would be too conspicuous.

Until the documents provided included a map, he felt reassured.

Otherwise, he would have had to request one after leaving.

Staring at the map, Alka reached out to touch the golden light point.

The information was revealed.

But before he could glimpse the information, Julia’s hand touched the golden glow.

Alka looked up at her.

”Here, this is where the Life Master left his treasure.

Just now, her spiritual body passed this information to me, the perimeter of this region is not safe.

However, she established a life-related barrier with the treasure, making it a small safe zone.

It can isolate the undead, thwarting any dangerous disasters from the boundary of life and death. Once the undead enters the area, its death nature is stripped away, leaving only the plants attached to it.

To retrieve the treasure, one only needs to praise life and use living hands to touch the treasure, then it can be taken away, but the ritual placed will also dissipate at that moment.”

Julia elaborated, recounting the information she received after contacting Master Meister just now.

After all, the information was very important to Alka.

Then Alka watched as the treasure column, not yet disappeared, changed its last row right before his eyes.

The treasure information expanded with more details as Julia spoke.

He had never seen such a scene before.

It was quite novel to him.

[Budding Shoots]

[Difficulty: Holy Light Warrior (Four~Fifth Stage)]

[Fame: 136,000]

[Treasure Information: The relic left here by the Merfolk Life Master.

A treasure exuding pure life aura, isolating the intertwined chaos of death and life nearby, making this a safe zone within the dangerous area of the life and death boundary.

To acquire the treasure, one must be a living being, praise life in their heart, and touch the location of the treasure to take it. (Perfect)]

Alka looked at the information of the treasure point, and there was no difference from what Julia said.

After confirming this information, Alka nodded.

He looked at the three positions marked on the life and death boundary.

The safe zone was in the angle between the left and central points on the map.

This meant as long as Alka’s team chose one of these two routes, they could grab the treasure on their way back through that area.

While the area of the treasure was safe, reaching it varied in difficulty.

The difficulty was already straightforwardly labeled.

The treasure difficulty mainly depended on their luck, whether they would encounter invincible enemies en route.

Yet, the difficulty indicated enemies not surpassing the fifth stage would appear in the boundary area.

This meant even in the direst scenarios, Alka possessed enough ability to escape.

No wonder a Fifth Stage member was included to lead in the organized team today.

If they ventured slightly deeper, a Sixth Stage enemy might be encountered.

A truly terrifying place indeed.

Alka pondered upon seeing the disclosed information.

However, a dilemma arose.

Alka was torn on whether or not to seize this chance to obtain the treasure.

Was now the perfect and optimal timing? This required cautious thought and deliberation.

After all, in such circumstances, they would certainly act alongside others.

Hence, the acquired treasure would have to be shared with others.

That is the code of treasure hunting.

Not to mention the accompanying people were also followers of the Four Gods, standing on the same side with them.

In fact, after determining the location, they could return for it themselves later.

In crucial moments, Alka could even elevate to the Fifth Stage under specific conditions, exerting equal strength.

At least having the capability for a fifth-stage escape.

It’s not necessary to take it now.

This trip could just serve to understand the situation first.
