Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Jason stepped down from the Sound of Dawn.

Beside him were Simon and Juanlu, and the three walked towards the city area.

”Is your information reliable?” Simon asked from the side.

Jason nodded: ”It should be reliable, and I have confirmed with someone in the Church, it’s indeed a descendant of the Nafasi Clan.

This person is recorded in the archives.”

Hearing that even the Church confirmed it, Simon nodded.

The three were currently preparing to head downtown to visit this member of the Nafasi Clan.

Preparing for dual actions.

Soon, the three windingly arrived at a building.

”Is this the place?” Juanlu asked.

Jason looked at the note in his hand, then at the plaque on the building in front of him.

Number 173.

”That’s right, this is the place.”

Saying so, he stepped forward and gently knocked on the door, then stepped back a couple of steps to wait.

This was a two-story building, the walls painted with white and yellow paint, accented with brown and black.

The architectural style of the entire street was quite similar, even the paint colors on the surface were fairly uniform.

This area couldn’t be considered a wealthy district, but it’s slightly better than the areas where ordinary civilians reside.

Jason observed the entire house and the plants around the small yard, paying attention to various details.

Soon, the door was opened.

A young man with medium black hair appeared, his skin somewhat dark, as if frequently exposed to the sun and wind.

His features were rather ordinary.

The first impression he gave was that of an ordinary person without any distinctive traits. The kind of person amidst a crowd who wouldn’t draw any attention.

He looked at Jason and the other two, with a face full of puzzlement.

”Who are you?”

Jason smiled, showing a kind expression and said, ”We are members of the Compass Eye Treasure Hunting Team, here to talk to you about something. Are you available now?”

”Treasure Hunting Team?” The man frowned at Jason and the others, neither refusing nor immediately agreeing.

After thinking for a moment, he nodded and fully opened the door.

”Come in then.”

Jason turned to his two companions behind him and nodded: ”Then we will trouble you.”

The three filed in through the doorway, with Juanlu closing the door behind them.

Upon entering, one could see that the interior decoration was quite normal and very ordinary. Judging from the surrounding decor and the placement of some items.

This member of the Nafasi Clan indeed hasn’t been living here for long.

There’s no sign of long-term habitation here.

Jason discreetly glanced around, observing some of the room’s conditions.

They walked into the living room.

”Please sit, everyone,” the man said, then went to the adjacent open kitchen to pour water for them.

After preparing, he brought it over and handed it to Jason and the others.

”Thank you.”

Jason took it and placed it in front of him.

After sitting down, he said, ”You can call me Narvi, Narvi Nalis.”

Nalis, not Nafasi?

Simon turned his gaze to Jason.

Jason’s expression remained unchanged, simply nodding with a smile.

It seems their family indeed separated from the Nafasi Clan long ago, even slightly altering the surname.

”Jason, who is this...?”

The three slightly introduced themselves.

Narvi looked at the three and asked, ”So why are you visiting me at this time? If I remember correctly, I should have no connections with you, right?”

He’s only been here for half a year, essentially doesn’t have any friends here.

Moreover, he deliberately avoided some social interactions over the past six months.

Jason thought for a moment and directly asked the man in front of him, ”You should be a former member of the Nafasi Clan, right?”

Narvi narrowed his eyes and slightly tensed his body upon hearing this, looking at Jason and asking, ”What do you want?”

Feeling a subtle change in the other’s emotions.

Jason replied calmly, ”No need to be nervous, friend, we mean no harm.”

Hearing this, Narvi chuckled lightly and said nothing more.

”Just speak directly about what you want, I’ve only been here for half a year and have no familiar acquaintances. To know I was once part of the Nafasi Clan, you must have close ties with the Holy Mother Church.”

”If possible, we’d like to ask you for a favor?” Jason responded.

”A favor?” Narvi seemed to think of something and waved his hand saying, ”Don’t ask me about the Nafasi Clan treasure again. If you truly understand the family’s situation, you’d know that people like us who haven’t died yet were those who left the family long ago.

If you’re smart enough, you’d realize that the legend of the treasure still exists, indicating that we who left the family long ago don’t really have any specific information and are not necessarily more knowledgeable than you are.”

It seemed that Jason’s team were not the only ones who came, undoubtedly others had asked before.

Narvi solemnly gazed at the three and said, ”Also, I’m not interested in any so-called treasure.”

This statement almost completely blocked the conversation for the three.

Juanlu and Simon turned their gaze to Jason, waiting for his response.

Jason looked at Narvi before him and smiled, ”I don’t know if you’re interested in treasure, but you seem quite interested in adventure and some outdoor activities.”

After saying this, Jason gestured around.
