From Arsenal to the Ball God

With Balotelli’s 2 goals, they defeated Bolton Wanderers at home with a two-zero score, securing 3 points!

No falling behind!

”Why always me...!!”

After the match, Balotelli took off his shirt, waving it around while shouting to the fans in the stands, his Premier League goals for the season close to 20 now, ”Why! Speak up!!”

At the post-match press conference, Mancini appeared with Aguero.

It’s not prejudice against Ba God, mainly because the latter is too prone to stir things up. If he gets excited and causes a big scene at a press conference, it would be a problem... This man even pulled off pranks like setting off fireworks on journalists, sooner or later he might blow up his own house.

Okay, there is some prejudice.

”A 4-point difference.”

At the press conference, Mancini held up four fingers, smiling confidently: ”Top of the table with 22 wins and 5 draws, the team hasn’t been left behind, there’s a good chance to compete for the championship.

”So we’re doing very well, in the final stage we’ll keep up with Arsenal and wait for our chance.”

”Aguero, in the mid-season, the media kept comparing you with Ma’el, and at one point you were ahead in the Player of the Month over him, why are you seldom mentioned alongside him recently?” a reporter asked an awkward question.

Aguero awkwardly smiled, thought for a moment about what he wanted to say, but in the end, turned away from the microphone without a word.

”Bye bye.” Mancini noticed the atmosphere was off, ending the press conference early.

...

At the same time, White Hart Lane.

”Boom!!”

Ashley Young fired a long shot from outside the penalty area, capturing everyone’s attention as they followed the ball.

”Clang!”

”Swish!”

The ball first hit the underside of the crossbar, bounced back to the ground, hit Tottenham goalkeeper Frederick’s face, then rebounded towards the goal.

”Yeah...!” The Manchester United expeditionary force at White Hart Lane went completely mad, dancing wildly in the stands.

”Boom boom boom!”

”Come on...!”

Roaring, Ashley Young beat his chest, shaking his head as he rushed to the edge of the field.

Two to one!

Slaughtered Tottenham!

”Oh...!”

Sir Alex Ferguson, who looked gloomy initially, stood up gleefully with both arms raised when he saw the goal, exclaiming: ”Fuck...!”

A golden goal!

minute later, the referee blew the whistle ending the match, and the entire Manchester United squad celebrated wildly on the field.

Ferguson headed to the sideline to shake hands with Redknapp, then hurried into the player tunnel, arriving at the press conference room.

”The team stubbornly held onto the winning streak, where will the focus be next?” a reporter asked.

”In the league.” Ferguson replied simply, as it was a dull question.

”Mancini also stated in an interview a couple of days ago that the team’s focus would shift towards the league... Is this because both teams didn’t advance from the Champions League group stages and can only compete in Europa League matches?” a reporter posed a challenging question.

”No.”

”Alright, the Europa League round of 16 matches will kick off this week, will this affect your league championship race against Arsenal? Would Arsenal widen the points gap further?”

Ferguson pursed his lips, staring at the reporter with incredibly sharp eyes, clearly showing his displeasure.

”I’m very patient with you,” he said, responding harshly to the reporter with a phrase he often used.

The venue fell silent for a while, before someone stood to ask another question: ”Someone once asked Sir Alex Ferguson, if given a bullet, would you choose to kill Wenger or Victoria, and Sir answered ’Can I have two?’

”Now, if the question is raised again, adding Ma’el to the choices, would Sir want three bullets?”

Ferguson laughed angrily, surprised that the questions after a thrilling victory were all about Arsenal.

Returning to a serious expression, he leaned back, raised his hands pretending to hold something, shook a bit, ”I’d want a Maxim heavy machine gun, to kill you all together with them.”

Afraid the reporters couldn’t hear clearly, he leaned towards the microphone and repeated.

”Leader of the points table: Arsenal with 22 wins, 5 draws, 71 points! Second on the points table: Manchester City with 21 wins, 4 draws, 2 losses, 67 points! Third on the points table: Manchester United with 20 wins, 5 draws, 2 losses, 65 points!” — Premier League standings

...

March 8, the Premier League’s 28th round arrives, Arsenal in this match against Aston Villa Team.

For this match, Wenger rotated some players in the backfield, but this didn’t affect their 4 forwards’ strong attacking force.

Just 16 minutes into the match, Ma’el received a mid-range long pass from Rosicky, breaking out from behind the opponent’s defense.

Villa’s two fullbacks reacted quickly, came over, trying to sneak in a tackle.

Ma’el didn’t just accelerate blindly, he was already close to the penalty area, bursting through easily might have the goalkeeper rushing out to take the ball.

He took the initiative to slow down, waiting for the two defenders to rush over to his sides, reaching his front.

”Ssss... slap!”

Catching them before they could turn directly to assume defensive postures, his left foot rolled the ball inward with the instep, then elegantly rode out two bicycles, shifted directions and broke past one defender.

He’s through!

The successful breakthrough relied not on the bicycles, but on his perfect rhythm of changing speed and direction, and his body keeping pace with the ball’s speed!

”Boom!!”

Before the other defender could come up, his right foot’s instep carried the ball, curling a shot towards the far corner of the goal.

”Swish!” The ball gracefully slipped into the far corner of the net, Villa goalkeeper Givin grasped at air, falling heavily to the ground.

One to zero!

The 29th goal!!

”Come on...Ma-el...! Come on...Ma-el...! Come on...Ma-el...!”

The Arsenal fans on site cheered for him in unison, their voices resonating throughout Emirates Stadium, with a unique rhythm.
