From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Haha, bye!”

He left wearing only a white tight shirt, turning his back, the muscle lines were very obvious, making several people unable to resist looking a few more times.

”Bye...”

Only when Ma’el walked out of the box did they woodenly wave their hands.

”Really an unforgettable experience, will never forget it in a lifetime.”

”He was so good to us.”

”It’s not easy to meet such a person, really need to cherish it, I expect him to achieve all success.”

”Yes, he is easily acknowledged, he lets everyone like him from different angles.”

The scene was filled with sighs, mostly from people meeting Ma’el for the first time today.

Chloe was thinking about something, her face was slightly flushed, she rubbed the paper in her hand, and her gaze gradually became firm.

...

After the match, at the press conference, Redknapp was like on pins and needles, dealing with the reporters’ questions.

”Mr. Redknapp, you said in the first half that Tottenham will end Arsenal’s winning streak, the unfinished business of the 2003-04 season will be settled in 2011-12, but why hasn’t it been settled yet?”

”Uh... that’s football, where there’s a loser, there’s a winner, it’s the charm of this sport.”

”.....”

”Since Kyle Walker left, the team seems to not have a standout full-back? Especially in today’s match-up with Ma’el, unexpectedly two players got injured in succession, isn’t Kyle Walker’s departure a big loss?”

”Every player will encounter injuries, it’s the nemesis of athletes, I mourn for the two, hopefully this won’t happen in the future.”

”.....”

”Can you face the issue directly?”

”.....”

”.....”

”Okay, the team lost zero to four against Arsenal, doesn’t this expose issues in both offense and defense?”

”Just bad form, and there were some accidents during the match.”

”.....”

”What accidents?”

”Injuries.”

”.....”

”Well, since Mr. Redknapp said it was due to injuries, may I ask what caused the injuries? Is it insufficient training, unhealthy diet, unable to adapt to high-intensity matches?”

Redknapp finally gritted his teeth, saying the sentence the reporters wanted to hear, ”Because Ma’el has a different intensity.”

After saying this, the press conference finally returned to normal, Redknapp wasn’t subjected to much difficulty, and the conference ended smoothly.

After this round, most of the focus remained on Arsenal and Ma’el, they are now the top figures in English Football.

Just because they are really close to the final championship!

Next day at noon, in the latest episode of BBC’s football show, Andy Cole and Alan Shearer looked at each other, kicking off today’s show in an awkward manner.

A photo was displayed on the big screen behind them, it was a photo of Andy Cole during his time with Newcastle United, that was the 1993-94 season.

In the shot, he was raising his right hand in high spirits, at the age of 22 that season, he set a single-season Premier League record of 34 goals.

”Very nice team jersey.”

Andy Cole smiled while pointing at the photo, making small talk, ”I’ve always thought Newcastle’s jersey had a great sense of design, don’t you think?”

He didn’t really want to talk about that season’s Premier League scoring record, as the monster from the lower league is really close to breaking his record.

”Indeed very nice.” Alan Shearer quickly nodded, smiling, ”I still love the club jerseys from the 90s, the polo shirt design made it seem stylish back then.”

Then, the screen shifted to Alan Shearer raising both hands, wearing a crown in the photo.

In the shot, he also wore a polo shirt jersey, that was the 1994-95 season, where he became the Premier League goal record holder with a single-season 34 goals.

Additionally, he helped Blackburn Rovers win the championship that season, earning the club’s third top league title in history.

”Blackburn’s jersey is also nice.” Alan Shearer pointed at the photo, smiling, ”Of course, the guys were more handsome at that time.”

”Haha.....” Andy Cole next to him laughed, but looking at these old photos, the smile slowly faded, as if being taken back into the memories.

This is their memory of their youth, moving forward, everyone seemed to have turned into media and fan commentators.

Only when they make some controversial remarks or are about to have their records surpassed do they receive some attention.

How many people still remember their high spirits back then?

”Let’s talk about Ma’el.”

Host Reinke appeared in the program, guiding them, ”After one league round, the player consistently scored 1 goal, bringing his total to 27 goals.

”Only 7 goals away from your records, and 13 rounds remain.”
