From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Hahaha.....!”

The field was instantly in chaos, everyone was running around excitedly, chasing each other; in this moment, their joy became tangible.

Throughout the season, all the perseverance and torment, all the pressure and mental anguish, were released at this moment.

Perhaps compared to other trophies, the English League Cup doesn’t hold much weight.

But winning this trophy at the end of February, before the season ends, is of great significance!

In the corner, David Dein watched this scene, couldn’t help but clap his hands again, and as he clapped, his eyes filled with tears.

He had lived a magnificent life, holding high positions in many places, as if he had lost part of his emotions.

But if you asked him what he still cared about, Arsenal would definitely be one.

After watching for a while, David Dein took out his phone and took a photo of Ma’el as he ran and dodged, then posted it on his social media.

He didn’t write any caption, only expressing that he was silently watching everything.

He believed that with today’s championship joy, Arsenal fans knew how he felt at this moment.

After finishing this, he turned and left, walking out of the field..... He couldn’t go onto the field and share the honor and joy with Arsenal, these things were for those who stayed with the team to enjoy.

The award ceremony was also gradually coming to an end, with players’ relatives and friends all on stage, quickly gathering a lot of people on the field.

”Where’s the gold medal?”

Before inviting Isabella and others, Ma’el raised his hand and asked the staff, looking left and right, ”Shouldn’t there be some kind of medal? I saw the silver ones.”

”They will be distributed uniformly later.” A staff member carrying a large tray came up and replied to him, taking the opportunity to take a selfie with Ma’el.

”Can’t I have it now?”

Ma’el guessed that his tray contained the gold medals, so he naturally walked over and took one to hang around his neck, ”Alright, I awarded it to myself, thank you.”

He waved to the bewildered staff, then ran to the players’ tunnel to invite Isabella and others.

”Hurry up!”

Seeing Isabella eagerly waiting at the front, he handed her the medal around his neck, ”Hold this for me for a while, I’m afraid someone might take it away.”

Isabella took the heavy medal, stunned in place, and before she reacted, Ma’el pulled her into the field.

Ma’el was holding her with his left hand, intending to use his right hand to throw his arm around Jose’s shoulder, but then realized Aisha was by his side, standing there dumbfounded.

”Ah, sorry.” He quickly withdrew his hand, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Almost made a big mistake!

If he took two girls out onto the field, he didn’t know what others would say about him tomorrow.

Isabella hadn’t reacted to receiving the medal from Ma’el, but followed Ma’el quickly onto the field, and then jogged into the field.

”Oh...!” The moment she went out, she heard a burst of cheering from around her, which made her instantly realize, and understand what this would mean.

Isabella’s cheeks suddenly blushed slightly, her heart fluttered like a little deer, with an impulse to scream.

She jogged behind Ma’el, watching his back and the arm he stretched back to hold her hand, a sweet smile gradually appeared on her face.

Although she knew this might be an unconscious move by Ma’el at his emotional peak, she just saw Ma’el wanting to hug someone else... but at least, her feelings at this moment were real.

Behind them, Aisha and Safina walked together, while Jose, Lewis, Davis, and Harry smiled at the scene.

”Are we a bit redundant?” Jose turned his head to look at his three colleagues and asked uncertainly.

”It’s alright.” Harry didn’t mind, walking alone in the center of Wembley Stadium, enjoying the joy after winning.

Lewis and Davis didn’t say anything, just took out their phones and took pictures around Wembley Stadium, even took a few selfies.

Safina and Aisha also took pictures of each other for remembrance, gradually getting to know each other.

After taking the photos, Safina looked at Wembley Stadium’s vastness and the dense crowd on the stands, sighing, ”It’s so good, if I could experience moments like this once or twice a year, it’d be wonderful.”

”Yes.” Aisha nodded, looking at her with a smile asking, ”Ma’el will help you achieve this goal.”

”Haha.....”

Safina shook her head, smilingly refuting, ”Can’t say he helps me achieve the goal, he’s achieving his own goals, and we share the joy following him, it’s our honor.

”Especially Harry and I, we were the first to know him, and our relationship with him is a bit better daily, he remembers us for everything..... just what we think, of course.”

Aisha didn’t say anything else, turned her head to look for her best friend’s figure, and found that Isabella was already taking a photo in front of the trophy.

Fortunately, Ma’el didn’t forget the others, soon came over with the trophy.

After everyone took their solo photos with the trophy, Ma’el placed the trophy on the grass, then waved, ”Come on, come on, let’s take one together with my good friends.”

Everyone laughed and came forward, standing on both sides of Ma’el, posing differently for the photo.

Ma’el crouched down by the trophy, feeling something wrong behind him, turned around to find Isabella making a ”V” sign with her hands over his head.

Davis and Lewis, two muscular guys, flexed an arm muscle on either side of his shoulders, making him look like he had three heads and six arms.

Jose and Harry grinned broadly, clenching their fists at their chests as if full of energy.

Only Aisha and Safina posed more normally, with the former striking a model-like pose, and the latter placing a hand on her shoulder.

”Hahaha.....!”

He didn’t think there was anything wrong with that, turned his head and placed both hands on the trophy, signaling the team’s official photographer to start shooting.

”3...2...1!”

As the countdown ended, Ma’el and the group of mischievous friends behind him all opened their mouths wide and shouted, ”Yeah....!”

”Click, click!” The Arsenal photographer in front of them quickly pressed the shutter, capturing them at their best.

”Wait for us!”

”Hold on!”

Even many journalists from different media outlets ran over quickly, pleading with everyone to keep their poses.

Ma’el and the others didn’t disappoint, and waited until all of them finished taking photos.

”Click, click!” The flash kept lighting up, not appearing obvious outdoors, but leaving this precious moment as a memory for many media outlets.

After taking the picture, a reporter from The Times smiled as he looked at the picture in the camera.

In the lens, Ma’el squatted on the ground, a beautiful and sunny girl behind him making a ”V” sign, adding some cuteness to him, but the muscular arms of the two guys somewhat disrupted the balance.

However, these funny moments, along with the two people cheering with raised arms behind them, and the two posing as models, gave this photo a distinctive flair.

He knew this would become a classic photo from Ma’el’s early career.

People would remember this photo and note that on February 28, 12 years ago, Ma’el won his first major championship, sitting joyfully in front of the trophy with his good friends at Wembley.
