From Arsenal to the Ball God

Immediately, he pulled out his left leg from behind his back and lay straight on the ground, one hand covering his face.

Injured!

Even though he was the one making the fierce slide tackle, he got injured!

All external factors weren’t really enough to cause this; the decisive factor was... Ma’el’s leg power, which was explosively strong!

Since others didn’t see clearly what just happened, and couldn’t imagine such a thing occurring, most people hadn’t realized it yet.

Seeing Danny Rose lying on the ground, they thought he might be resting because he was tired or feeling too guilty.

”Boom, boom, boom...!”

Their gaze was still fixed on Ma’el dribbling the ball; his performance in that confrontation was jaw-dropping.

Taking a hard slide tackle, not falling, staggering and continuing to dribble!

”Wow...!” Arsenal fans hugged their heads, both amazed and relieved, thankful the player wasn’t injured.

Tottenham fans’ faces turned completely dark; is it now impossible to stop him even with tactical fouls?

”Boom!”

Ma’el dribbled the ball into the opponent’s half, then passed it to Walcott, who had moved forward on the right, choosing a more sensible way to advance.

An additional reason was that his knee was also hurting terribly.

This was an impact injury, a hard one, nothing serious, but it would definitely hurt for a few days.

He looked back at Danny Rose lying on the ground, wanted to call the Tottenham physio, but decided to finish this attack first.

When he collided with the opponent, he could feel the opponent’s knee softening, he knew it was an injury.

With a two-second silence for Danny Rose, he was also quite grateful he’d always been careful about this, and trained early to build his strength, allowing him to avoid injuries—or even deflect them—in moments like this.

”Boom!”

”Boom!”

After running a few more steps, he quickly saw Walcott passing sideways, Van Persie in the center stopped the ball, waited a moment and realized the opportunity wasn’t good, then passed the ball to Alexander Song on the other side charging forward.

Song carried the ball into the penalty area, and blasted it into the top right corner with a strong shot.

Four to zero!

Massacre!

”Yeah...!!”

Alexander Song ran toward the sideline, mimicking Ma’el’s slide kneel; he was always imitating, wanting to have the same grace as Ma’el.

Getting up, he also jumped into Ma’el’s magical ghost step dance; unfortunately, it didn’t bring a ’doo doo doo’ sound, only laughter erupted.

Alexander Song thought that was encouragement, confidently placed a hand next to his head and waved it toward the fans, only to receive little response.

He furrowed his brows, puzzled why Ma’el usually received cheers this way; something must be wrong with a step somewhere?

”Haha...!”

Ma’el rushed over, jumped on his back, ”You guys are all secretly happy, without me bringing the ball out, where would your goals and assists come from!”

...

On the sidelines, Redknapp saw Arsenal’s players rushing toward the sidelines to celebrate again, his emotions completely shattered.

He stood in front of the coach’s rain cover, rested his head on the cover’s glass and slowly exerted force, competing with an inanimate object, also releasing his own pressure.

Zero to four.

Worse than last time!

Why can’t they encounter Arsenal when they’re in a bad state, but every time they meet them, they’re at their strongest?

”Red.”

Beside him, the assistant coach patted his shoulder, with pursed lips, a hesitant expression.

Redknapp instinctively turned back, waiting for him to speak, but saw him pointing toward the field.

Turning his head, he saw two team doctors running on the field again with medical kits.

”No way?”

Redknapp was flabbergasted, ”Is that Danny Rose? From that last confrontation?!”

”Yes.....” The assistant coach nodded, his expression heavy.

Redknapp felt like he was about to have a cerebral hemorrhage; he never imagined, the worst of the worst, losing the ball and player injuries simultaneously... could happen twice in one match.

Caused by the same player’s actions, and that player also scored.

”Substitution!”

The doctor squatting next to Danny Rose reached out with two index fingers turning circles again, their expressions seemed even uglier this time.

Redknapp was completely explosive, emotionally saying, ”I really don’t understand, how does the team usually do its therapy and strength training, why does this happen so frequently?!”

”Why? Is this going to leave us with no players to use?!”

The assistant coach and substitute players beside him listened to these words, slightly lowered their heads.

For sure it’s not these two things, variables are still with the people; it’s just, Redknapp probably doesn’t want to admit now... no problem, once he vents he’ll calm down.

Redknapp’s chest heaved heavily, he went to the substitute bench wanting to find a defender, yet found none.

At this moment, his longing for Kyle Walker reached its peak.

If only he were here, the club wouldn’t be in this predicament now.

That damn Arsenal, snatched their player at the close of the transfer window, causing them not to have time to acquire new strong defenders, only reinforcing the forwards and midfield.

”Number Seven.....

”Ma’el off the field, thanking him for today’s excellent performance!”

At this moment, Redknapp heard the live DJ announcement, he turned to see Ma’el running off the field.

Standing on the midfield extension line, preparing to make abdominal jumps to warm up for going on, was Kyle Walker.

He’s going for his debut!

The decider!

”Bam!”

Redknapp faced his darkest moment, he punched the rain cover, shattering a softer pane of glass, gaining him a small release.
