From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Sky Sports reporter!”

In a Sky Sports program, a stunning female reporter talked about the match, ”The Wembley Stadium is about to witness the first trophy of the English Football this season.

”This trophy is immensely important to both teams, as Cardiff City is eager to write the legend of a small club from the lower leagues, while Arsenal is in dire need of a trophy to rekindle their renaissance!

”Prior to this, Cardiff City has never won the English League Cup, while Arsenal has won it twice, but both were in the last century, before Wenger took over.

”No matter which team wins, this will be a historic trophy!”

”.....”

”Reporter from the France team paper, the heated League Cup final is set to kick off in two days, and we have arrived early to North London to observe how Arsenal fans are preparing for the match!

”This is a great opportunity for Wenger to achieve a domestic Grand Slam in English football, and for Ma’el to win his first senior championship, as well as a chance to end seven years of title drought.

”We believe Arsenal fans value this match greatly, so let’s enter a fan pub and interview two fans.”

”.....”

”Hello, we are from France. What are your expectations for the upcoming final?”

”To win, we must win! We believe in Wenger, Ma’el, and Van Persie! They will lead us to lift the trophy!”

”.....”

”Cardiff City’s playing style is aggressive, and the players will undoubtedly fight hard against Arsenal in the final, using frantic running to block space. Do you think they are an easy team to face?”

”A team that is easy to face wouldn’t have reached the final. We are prepared for the difficulty of the match..... but we know Cardiff City was the team Ma’el faced in his career debut, so he will give his all to win.”

”Are you suggesting that as long as Ma’el gives his all, there’s hope for victory in this final?”

”Yes, always. I believe Ma’el is eager to claim his first trophy from the team where he made his debut; there’s a special meaning in that.”

”.....”

”That’s the report from the frontline. We can see Arsenal fans on the streets holding up banners for the match day, and Cardiff City tourists have also arrived in the area.

”We hope it will be an exciting match. See you on February 28th!”

”.....”

”Spanish Radio and Television! Today is February 27th, and fans of football all know that tomorrow, a championship battle will commence at England’s Wembley Stadium!

”One team will take the lead ahead of others and claim one of the more prestigious trophies of the season!

”This is a prelude to the four major league championships and signals that all championship trophies in European football have entered their final stages of competition!”

”.....”

”German Daily...”

With the anticipation built by journalists from various regions, many are eagerly looking for the broadcast signal of this match in advance.

And time is inching towards February 28th, the championship match is about to begin.

...

”Buzzing...!”

At two in the afternoon, the bus set off from the Korni Base, driving onto a brand-new road that led in the direction of Wembley Stadium.

Players on the bus wore headsets, listening to music to relax.

Ma’el was also wearing headphones, gazing out the window until he felt a drowsiness set in, prompting him to close his eyes for a short nap.

”Arsenal...! Arsenal.....!”

Until he heard a faintly shouting voice, he sat up, took off his headphones, and looked out the window.

”Everything was going...Ma-el!Ma-el....!

”Walking in a Van Persie Wonderland...!!”

The singing outside became clearer; clusters of Arsenal fans appeared in view. Raising their hands high, they sang the season’s oft-repeated ’Hot Stuff’ towards the club team bus.

This song symbolized victory, and whenever it played, they seemed to always win as hoped.

Today, they sent this song to send off Arsenal players!

Looking further up, the magnificent Wembley Stadium came into view, an arched iron cable spanning the field was one of its features.

They had arrived!

In three hours, this is where this season’s English League Cup champion would be decided!

”Phew...”

Ma’el took a deep breath, looking at the scenery outside, thinking about stepping onto this field soon, unable to suppress the excitement swelling in his heart.

This is acknowledged as the world’s greatest stadium; Pele called it the cathedral of football, the capital of football, the heart of football!

England’s legendary captain Bobby Moore called it the holy Mecca!

He had driven past here several times this season, always observing this unassuming stadium for a long time..... even from the first time stepping onto a football pitch, he knew one day he would walk towards it.

Because this place symbolizes championships and honor; he knows he will obtain these!

Today, the opportunity had arrived, and whether they would walk out of the stadium in triumph or silence, would soon have a result.

”keep telling us we’re boring...!

”we’ll just keep on scoring now...!”

Outside, the singing from Arsenal fans was deafening; today, over 50,000 Arsenal fans had come nearby, ready to witness the victory or defeat of this match with the team.

They must not be disappointed!

Ma’el waved to the fans, then put his headphones back on, using the last few minutes to adjust his mindset and keep calm.

”The Arsenal...Come on you Arsenal...The Arsenal...!!”
