From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Everyone must always grit their teeth, muster all their power and work together, only then can we face all challenges and difficulties, and ultimately achieve a good result.”

”.....”

”What is the season’s goal? Does the team have the ambition to pursue the championship? Or is it too early to talk about these now?”

Ma’el saw the journalist was looking at him as he asked, glanced at Wenger, and then laughed, ”Everyone may have different goals at different stages. I personally hope to continue my excellent form from the Championship.

”First, I aim for 30+ data across all lines and then gradually pursue significant individual honors.

”As for the team, I don’t think it’s too early to discuss these; we all share the ambition to chase the championship.

”The team has four lines this season, and we will try to win honors in one or two of them.”

”.....”

”But that’s very difficult, isn’t it? Whether it’s the personal honors you mentioned or the team’s dual championship pursuit.”

”Of course.”

Ma’el was amused by the journalist and raised his eyebrows, ”Any pursuit is difficult. If something is easy, you just reach out and take it. It’s not a pursuit, nor does it require an effort to achieve.”

In another press room, Ferguson and Giggs were sitting in their seats, the atmosphere a bit grim, with no sign of harmony.

”A somewhat unfortunate draw, can Sir accept this outcome?”

”I cannot accept it.”

As Ferguson spoke, his left hand involuntarily lifted, and when gesturing, it trembled uncontrollably, ”The team performed very well on the attack line, but the defense’s performance was disheartening.”

”We couldn’t establish effective midfield defense, and the defense in the backfield was a mess, especially on the flanks... I don’t want to say more, we need to make changes, whether through signings or any other means.”

Giggs looked at him somewhat startled, the words were a bit harsh and would greatly impact the starting players.

But many coaches from that era were like this, they liked to set up obstacles for players to inspire stronger fighting spirit within them, an old tactic.

Except for Cristiano, whom the Old Lord favored...most of their ’Class of 92’ had come through under such high pressure.

”How do you evaluate Ma’el’s performance?” some journalists began to stir the pot, hoping to see an unhinged Sir, which would be tonight’s big news.

Ferguson put his hands down, stopped everything he was doing, and stared fiercely at the journalist, wordlessly.

”Some say Sir once had the opportunity to sign him, but ultimately gave up?”

The journalist was secretly delighted but kept a serious front, ”Would this be considered regrettable? From today’s match, the young man from Korney controlled the game, scored 2 goals, and completed a penultimate pass.

”Manchester United may have missed a new Ronaldo in this player competition, Wenger is the winner.”

”You better shut up.” Ferguson remained motionless, his voice dark, already on the brink of losing his temper.

Under the table, Giggs tapped his left foot gently against Ferguson, signaling him to calm down, as he had already clashed with media journalists more than once.

”Manchester United fans will fantasize about Maie...”

As the journalist prepared to fan the flames further, Sir Alex Ferguson suddenly sprang to his feet, cheeks puffed out, anger barely contained as he pointed at him, ”If this were a few years ago, I would’ve kicked you, I swear.”

Giggs immediately supported his arm, pulling him away from the press conference scene, everyone leaving displeased.
