From Arsenal to the Ball God

”You’ll Never Walk Alone.....!”

”You’ll Never Walk Alone.....!”

They quickly began singing loudly the most famous fan song in the world, You’ll Never Walk Alone.

The sound of four thousand voices was not quiet; when they united and raised their voices, the sound even drowned out the home Arsenal fans.

”The Arsenal...Come on the Arsenal...the Arsenal....!!”

Thankfully, someone quickly organized the Arsenal fans to sing in unison, suppressing the momentum of the others, reclaiming the atmosphere for Arsenal fans.

”Hiss hiss hiss....!” Unable to win by volume, the Liverpool fans lit countless smoke bombs emitting red smoke on the stands; in an instant, the entire South Stand was filled with their fireworks.

”Whoosh.... Whoosh!”

The Arsenal fans sitting in the North Stand were not to be outdone; they then followed the beat and threw down countless white streamers, turning the entire North Stand into a chaotic sea of white.

This is the battle of the fans!

They all hoped to outshine the other, giving their team an edge even before the match began.

”Arsenal is shit!”

”Rude Liverpool people!”

”We will tear you apart!”

Fans from both teams, being close to each other, started spraying insults at each other; it was a traditional performance.

If their home team performed well later, they would make up songs based on popular tunes such as ’1-0’ song, ’2-0’ song, etc., to mock the rival fans.

At the live commentary booth, the Sky Sports commentator cleared his throat and passionately said, ”It’s a great honor to bring you commentary on this exciting Premier League second-round match, where Arsenal will face Liverpool at home!

”In their last 10 encounters, Wenger has won 2, drawn 4, and lost 4; overall, Liverpool holds a slight advantage.

”The players from both teams are coming out, and the match is about to begin! Before that, let me introduce my guest here, Mr. Reinke!”

Reinke quickly put on his earpiece and smiled, ”Hello everyone, I will be co-commentating this high-profile match with Dodger!

”Taking advantage of pre-match ceremonies, let me ask Dodger, who do you think is the biggest threat in the Arsenal and Liverpool squads?”

”Liverpool.....Kuyt? Andy Carroll? Arsenal.....Van Persie? Ma’el?”

Dodger made his guess and explained, ”Kuyt has consistently maintained his form, and Andy Carroll, who joined the team last year for 40 million Euros, has been out injured.

”Now recovered this season and starting, his form is likely adjusted.

”As for Arsenal, it’s obvious that their biggest threats right now are these two, with Ma’el making his Premier League debut but already standing firm, adapting even quicker than Suarez did.”

Reinke nodded, without adding much, just to keep the atmosphere light.

......

At the players’ tunnel, Ma’el walked out holding a mascot’s hand, immediately feeling the heated atmosphere inside the stadium.

”Oh oh.....oh oh.....!”

Liverpool fans hugged each other, singing and dancing on the South Stand, creating a huge visual impact.

Arsenal fans were also unwilling to be left behind, all standing up and applauding loudly, welcoming the players’ appearance.

”Phew.....” Ma’el took a deep breath to adjust his breathing.

He quickly saw Liverpool legend Dalglish standing with Wenger, chatting while shaking hands, seeing Suarez in a substitute vest heading to the bench.

This was undoubtedly the most important match of his life so far, a chance to seize well!

”Beep!”

At seven-thirty in the evening, the main referee blew the whistle to mark the official start of the match; this second-round big six showdown thus began!
