From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Refreshing!!”

Gervinho clapped as he walked beside Ma’el, who was sitting on the ground adjusting his shin guards. He helped Ma’el up and gave him a hug, ”I must thank you, reward you!”

”Treat me to a 1k Pounds dinner.”

Ma’el jumped twice after getting up, realizing he only felt some pain on the surface of his leg, but nothing else.

Since his Power had increased to Level 4, the chance of getting injured from tackles was very small.

He then heard the Newcastle United fans shouting inside the stadium and frowned, ”Disgusting.”

He changed his mind, patting Gervinho on the shoulder, ”On second thought, pass the ball to me when you have the chance, I still want to score.”

”Leave it to me!” Gervinho appeared very enthusiastic, wrapping his arm around Ma’el’s shoulder and talking about Barton’s various misconducts.

”Bang!!”

Ramsey then took the free-kick for Arsenal from a spot very close to the penalty area; he’s the team’s first-choice free-kick taker, and Ma’el hasn’t replaced him yet.

Before gaining Heading capability, he should fight for every chance to take set pieces.

Putting aside other things, multiple assists in a season are very hopeful.

”Bang!” In the center position, Arsenal’s central defender Koscielny jumped up with unstoppable momentum, heading the ball towards the far corner of the goal.

He didn’t hit it square, the ball’s speed wasn’t very fast, but because he exerted enough power, the football flew towards the goal with intense spin.

”Swoosh!” It finally cleared the Goalkeeper’s hand and landed in the net.

Four to zero!

Arsenal’s steamrolled them!

”Yeah.....!” Amidst the silence of Newcastle United fans, the cheers from Arsenal fans sounded particularly piercing.

”Good shot!”

On the sideline, Wenger hadn’t even had the chance to sit down before leaping out of the coach’s seat; contrary to his typical composure during such moments, he chose to celebrate lavishly, ”Take care! Keep pushing!”

......

The game time continued to move forward, gradually crossing the 85-minute mark. Newcastle United players lacked morale, having been suppressed throughout.

Ma’el stood beside Danny Simpson, watching the development of the football in the midfield and rear. Anxiety arose within him.

He still wanted to complete a debut hat-trick..... this was certainly an important achievement, and if he didn’t today, he wouldn’t have another chance.

Imagine opening the Arsenal journey with a hat-trick; how wonderful it would be, how memorable for a lifetime.

Whatever accomplishments follow here, whatever historic moments..... all of it would be magnified!

People flipping through the first page of his Arsenal journey, the first line they see will be the awe-inspiring ’Debut Hat-Trick’!

Not to mention, he had been hoping to score more goals today to slap Newcastle fans in the face.

”Bang!”

In the 89th minute of the match, Alexander Song aimed a long pass towards Ma’el, mindful of his new teammate’s hat-trick.

Unfortunately, the target wasn’t ideal.

Ma’el could only jump and compete for the header with Danny Simpson, unable to step back.

Thanks to his solid foundational burst, he jumped high, heading the ball to an awaiting Frimpong behind him.

”Bang!” Frimpong was a bit anxious, trying to chip the ball behind after seeing Gervinho’s forward movement, but the depth of the pass was obviously insufficient, losing strength in midfield.

He clearly wasn’t up to the task.

Ma’el rushed to midfield, seeking a secondary ball shooting opportunity.

”Slash!” But defender Steven Taylor noticed his movements, and as he was about to head the ball away, he suddenly hesitated, opting to nudge towards the Goalkeeper!

But... he erred!

Completing a change in movement in the air requires immense Power and Coordination, which Steven Taylor evidently lacked.

The ball didn’t fall towards the Goalkeeper but rose a meter behind him and then fell.

”I’m on it!”

Ma’el sensed an opportunity, reacted swiftly, and dashed into the penalty box, positioning his body between the ball and Steven Taylor, waiting for it to land.

A defender immediately came over to assist in defending, attempting to push Ma’el out of the ball’s control area and, at worst, poke the ball away from his feet.

However, they quickly felt the pressure Danny Simpson endured; Ma’el had very strong physical confrontation skills, and his lower body was very stable.

No matter how much they collided, he was virtually unmoved!

In such a scenario, they were far from the ball, and any attempt to reach it with a foot would easily be evaded by Ma’el’s simple push-pull technique.

The situation was deadlocked..... Ma’el almost performed a basketball post-up move on the football field, steadily pushing towards the penalty box.

”Right foot! Block the right foot!”

On the sideline, Alan Pardew looked livid, shouting reminders to the defenders, ”He doesn’t have a left foot, guard the right side!”

Another goal was unacceptable..... four to zero could be deemed a major defeat, five to zero would be a disaster.

Inside the penalty area, Steven Taylor and the assisting defender heeded Alan Pardew’s cry, shifting their bodies towards Ma’el’s right side, prepared to block his right-foot shot.

As for the left foot?

He supposedly doesn’t have one.

”Bang!!”

Ma’el suddenly turned to his left side, gently adjusting the ball, and then executed a powerful dipping shot with his left foot.

Steven Taylor: ”???”
