From Arsenal to the Ball God

He developed quite a few photographs, but he didn’t plan to hang all of them. He decided to pick a representative picture for each statistic.

He didn’t suffer from indecisiveness and quickly got into action.

For the first goal, he chose a celebratory picture of himself flying into the corner flag; for the second, a snapshot of the moment the header connected with the soccer ball, looking very elegant.

The third was a left-footed dipping shot, with Newcastle players looking astonished in the background; the fourth was a snapshot of his body posture during a long shot.

For the first assist, he chose a poster of Arsenal players celebrating together in the corner flag area.

The second was from today - he picked the moment of chest-bumping with Van Persie; the third also featured Van Persie, celebrating back-to-back.

After hanging them up, looking at the growing photo display, he felt a surge of accomplishment and invited the four team members to admire it.

”Not bad.”

Jose was the first to smile, commenting: ”It feels like a touch of history, and someday in the future, when we suddenly look back, we’ll definitely feel overwhelmed.”

”Yeah.” Harry moved closer to observe, sighing: ”Didn’t expect Ma’el to have a hint of romanticism.”

”Hope you fill it up soon,” Davis wished, feeling a sense of accomplishment looking at these photos as well.

After all, he was also responsible for training Ma’el, supporting him step by step from behind.

”I am quite looking forward to seeing if Ma’el can hang 30 photos here by the end of the season,” said Safina, suggesting a specific timeframe and number, sparking discussion among everyone.

”I think it’s definitely possible.”

Harry, with a confident smile, added: ”Considering all competitions, Ma’el scoring around 20 goals and providing about 15 assists should be quite hopeful.”

”I agree,” Jose raised his hand, smiling in agreement: ”His blistering form at the start of the season is evident, and even if there’s a slight dip due to fatigue in the latter half, the efficiency should still be there.”

”Definitely.”

Ma’el felt confident and didn’t forget to praise them, ”After all, I have you four protecting me like a shield.

”Let’s set a goal, aim for a 30+ in various statistics... I previously gave Safina and Harry championship gifts, if this goal is achieved, I will give everyone a thick gift.”

He knew well how to deal with these guys, compared to what they might offer in terms of ’meticulous work attitude,’ spending a bit of money was nothing.

His current after-tax salary was 6.25 pounds per minute, 375 pounds per hour, and 9,000 pounds per day.

Factoring in future endorsements and bonuses, his average future daily salary would definitely exceed 15,000 pounds... These small amounts are nothing.

”Alright.”

Safina, remembering the previous Patek Philippe watch and a ten-thousand-pound bonus, clapped excitedly: ”Then let’s look forward to you quickly achieving this goal, we will work hard to complete our work.”

Although the other three remained silent, their expressions showed joy, eagerly looking forward to that day.

”Is the trophy cabinet almost ready?”

Ma’el, reminded by the photo wall, asked about the trophy cabinet: ”It should be almost done, right? I didn’t see anything in the materials that needed special handling.”

He valued these things greatly, after all, they represented the mark of his growth.

In this internet age, people receive too much information every day, with poor memory.

He must use these tangible items to record the footsteps of his journey!

”Probably in the next few days.”

Davis, who was responsible for this, replied: ”I’ll check again later, there’s no rush with this.”

Ma’el nodded, and once the four left, he continued to stand in front of the photo wall for a long time.

After a while, he rearranged them, categorizing the photos of different competitions, marking the event names.

In the future, there will also be the Champions League proper, the FA Cup, the League Cup, and so on!

Should he win any of these competitions, he would place the thrilling moments from the final at the top, wearing the crown.

Ma’el smiled, this feeling of occasionally playing with himself was quite peculiar.

Continue forward, there are many exciting and glorious achievements waiting for him ahead... What he has to do is to improve his own capabilities, striving to soon achieve versatility, and launch an assault toward his final goal!

He believed that day wouldn’t come too late, for now, let’s take this season one step at a time.
