From Arsenal to the Ball God

”An unparalleled goal feast! Will there be more?”

In the broadcast room, Zhan Jun roared as he delivered his commentary for this moment: ”The two sides have together scored 7 goals, more than the total number of goals scored by many Premier League teams in the first three rounds of matches!

”Ma’el unleashed a left-footed strike like a miracle ball from the heavens. Gunners fans, did you see an angel with wings wearing an Arsenal jersey! A godly goal from the gods!

”All the players seemed to fade into the background at this moment, only the luminescent Rooney could meet his gaze!

”He’s only 18 years old, and for next year’s European Cup, will he shine in the French National Team and be crowned the new king?”

Beside him, Zhang Lu waited until Zhan Jun’s excitement calmed down, then spoke from a football perspective about this goal, though his tone was still excited.

”Sigh... this goal, ah, still showcases his individual ability. I’ve watched his previous two Premier League matches and noticed that he’s slowly revealing his skills to world fans.

”This is possibly a skill he already had in the Championship, but at that time, people did not pay much attention to him.

”Let’s look at the replay, he first stopped the ball at his feet, then turned to break through, easily passing Phil Jones, Jones couldn’t even grab him, haha... too embarrassing.

”This is not the physique of a footballer, it’s more like that of a rugby player!

”Subsequent passing, positioning, and shooting all done in one go! Just like Rooney’s lob to the goalkeeper, this is also a genius strike!

”However, he’s younger than Rooney, and scarier.

”Are the Manchester United fans in the live room feeling like the overlord is alive after seeing Rooney’s performance... and upon seeing Ma’el, feeling like a not-fully-grown Han Xin suddenly appeared.”

Zhan Jun and Zhang Lu exchanged glances in the broadcast room and chuckled together; this was indeed not a very appropriate analogy.

...

In front of Manchester United’s goal, the young De Gea climbed up from the ground, looking around at the Manchester United defensive line players, unsure of what to say.

Not far to his right, after scoring, Ma’el slid forward in a simple knee slide, and upon getting up, punched the ground, ”Vamos.....!!”

He was extremely excited, but he knew now was not the time to be indulgent.

After a brief celebration, he turned and rushed back to his own side of the field, wanting to start the ball quickly to save time to pursue more points.

What is certain now is that a disaster won’t happen!

The plan has changed, going for points now!

This time, as he passed Rooney who was side by side with him, Rooney couldn’t help but turn his head, giving him a meaningful look, and even in the eyes of this genius, there was a bit of envy for the ’genius’.

Ma’el felt great, savoring the aftertaste of the goal, his body twitching again.

His first career left-foot miracle ball!

His 5th Premier League goal!

Now, on the Premier League’s top scorers list, he is in the same league as Rooney, Dzeko, Van Persie, and Aguero!

And he just came from the Championship and has played three games here.

”Beep!”

After the game restarted, Ma’el charged forward first, crossing the halfway line, heading towards the opponent’s half.

He saw Ferdinand warming up on the sidelines, knowing Ferguson wanted to bring this former defensive iron wall in at the last moment, but unfortunately, his partner won’t be Vidic this time.

”Charge!”

He didn’t think much, swinging his arms to harness the momentum he just gained from scoring, leading Arsenal’s players past midfield.

It was already the 87th minute of the match, with stoppage time included, there were at most seven or eight minutes left, so they must hurry.

”Boom!”

In the Manchester United backfield, center-back Evans, under the pressure of Van Persie, irresponsibly passed the ball to Ashley Young.

Even though there was pressure from Walcott behind him, he had no choice. He was still the weak link in the defense and was scapegoated for every lost game.

To avoid taking the blame, in this critical moment, he could only try to shift the responsibility to his teammates.....

”Pop!”

Ashley Young, who had been brilliant all match, suddenly lost focus at this moment, allowing Walcott to intercept the ball with a foot.

”Good ball!!”

”Break him!”

”Waiting for you in the middle!”

Arsenal’s offensive players seemed as if they all received a jolt of adrenaline, quickening their footwork to charge into the opposition’s penalty area.

Ma’el observed both Walcott’s movements and the situation of Manchester United players retreating, to make decisions on positioning.

”Boom boom boom.....”

He saw Walcott dribbling towards the very nervous Evans, saw Evans being tricked and falling, saw countless Manchester United fans on the stands covering their eyes.

Finally, he saw Walcott’s shot with the ball on the ground, sending it through De Gea’s legs and into the net!!

”Yeahhhh.....!!”

At this moment, the cheers were not just from Ma’el’s tensed facial muscles roaring... but also from more than ten teammates, more than ten staff members, and thousands of Arsenal’s traveling fans cheering together.

Four to four!!

They equalized the score!!

The pressure on Ma’el evaporated; it was only at this moment that his whole body gave out, the muscles at the back of his thigh twitching violently, as he lay down on the ground.

”Walcott!”

”The Arsenal Trident!”

”No no no, they play so roughly, they should be called the Three Cannon Kings!”

”Three Gun Kings is more like it!”

”Wait..... look over there, our hero Ma’el has cramped up!”

”Haha! Go help him!”

The celebrating crowd quickly returned to his side, blocking out the sunlight from the sky, leaving only a few beams piercing through, causing Ma’el to close his eyes.

His legs were quickly lifted and forcefully moved, with everyone concerned about his wellbeing.

The pain had not yet subsided, but at this moment, there was only a happy smile on Ma’el’s face, knowing he had accomplished something significant.

Gunners fans need not cry..... this afternoon, perhaps just an ordinary one, could even be a happy one for Arsenal fans!
