From Arsenal to the Ball God

The football traced a masterful arc across the sky of Old Trafford, plummeting accurately towards the top right corner.

Szczeny quickly pushed off the ground, stretching to the limit to dive towards the ball; he could tell the quality of this shot.

Ma’el stood somewhat nervously in his position, stretching his neck to watch his team’s goal area, hoping that Szczeny would save the ball.

”Swish!!”

But the ball eventually slid into the net, and its quality was such that it was destined to be a sure goal.

Ma’el started to move his feet, not too discouraged, and jogged back to his half.

There was nothing to be done about this goal; better not to dwell on it and just hope he could achieve a similar feat in this match.

”Wow.....!!” More than sixty thousand Manchester United fans at Old Trafford erupted into a frenzy, their cheers filling the entire stadium and even spreading onto the streets outside.

”Haha!”

”We are leading!”

”Fantastic play!”

Manchester United’s players excitedly rushed over to the goal scorer, Ashley Young, who was quickly tackled by Nani and others, laughing heartily while lying on the ground.

When he got up, he spread his arms towards the Manchester United fans section and roared: ”Ah.....!!”

Turning back, he clenched his fist towards Old Lord Ferguson, hoping to see happiness on his face.

”Clap clap clap.....!” Ferguson noticed his gaze, his face flushed, and immediately raised both hands to applaud him, even chewing his gum a little faster.

”It’s a goal! Ashley Young!”

In the commentary box, Zhan Jun’s voice was hoarse: ”A brilliant world-class strike! One-nil! Manchester United leads Arsenal!

”A player’s shining moment, no one could stop this shot! Arsenal is in trouble!”

On the sidelines, Wenger watched Manchester United’s players celebrating with Ferguson, feeling uneasy as his brows slowly furrowed.

...

After the kickoff, Arsenal began their counterattack, advancing entirely, striving to gain some momentum in the front field.

”Bang!”

In the 26th minute of the match, Arteta passed the ball to Ma’el’s feet.

Ma’el knew Phil Jones was behind him, so instead of waiting for the ball, he rushed forward to meet it and gained control.

”Boom!” As soon as he got the ball, he felt a force hit his back, causing him to stagger slightly forward.

The referee put the whistle to his lips, ready to blow it if Ma’el fell.

But Ma’el chose not to fall; stabilizing himself, he dribbled the ball towards the middle position.

Finally getting a chance to control the ball, he naturally wanted to charge forward and try his luck!

”Pinch him! Pinch him!”

On the sidelines, Ferguson sternly waved his hand to signal his players to fall back and be cautious of Ma’el’s attack.

Ma’el dribbled a few steps towards the middle, quickly sensing the opposing team’s midfield and defensive lines closing in to compress the space, preparing to trap him.

He glanced behind the defensive line, and a bold idea came to his mind.

”Bang!”

Under Phil Jones’s guarding, and with two or three meters to another defender, Smolin, he resolutely chose to dribble the ball between them, letting it go towards the baseline, aiming to outwit both players.

Successfully dribbled through!

Dribbled through both players!

”Oh!”

In the commentary box, Zhan Jun’s surprised voice echoed: ”A bold choice, Ma’el wants to use speed to go directly to the baseline! This ball might be a bit difficult!”

”Ow...!”

”Smolin is clearly closer to the ball; at this distance, it should be quite difficult for Ma’el to surpass this England defender!”

”Ah...!”

In everyone’s surprised gaze, Ma’el turned his body and swiftly moved his steps, taking advantage of Phil Jones’s unpreparedness to crash into him hard.

”Bang.....” Phil Jones fell to the ground, sliding more than a meter, nervously watching the retreating Smolin as he did so.

Not far away, Ferguson’s throat gulped; this was his first time experiencing Ma’el’s impact live.

So strong.....

He looked at Smolin, hoping this disciple could quickly clear the ball.

”Mine!” Smolin felt that with this distance, it should be safe. As he neared the ball, he slightly decelerated and prepared to clear it towards the sideline.

Suddenly, he felt a gust of wind from behind, turned his head, and before he could see clearly, a figure flashed in front of him, bringing another gust of wind to his face.

He’s here?!

He immediately looked surprised and instinctively reached out, not noticing Ma’el had stepped into the penalty area.

”Slap!”

Ma’el contacted the football, dribbling it towards the middle, but then felt a force from the side, causing him to lose balance.

He uncontrollably fell to the left, seeing the penalty area line on the outside as he went down, feeling a wave of excitement.

This is inside the penalty area!

Smolin gave him the chance!

”Ow.....!!”

Suddenly, the entire stadium erupted into a roar, with all the Arsenal staff looking at the referee, raising their hands to protest.

”Penalty!”

Wenger stood on the sidelines with great anticipation, even miming a yellow card, indicating it should be a yellow card penalty.

”Referee!”

”Blow it!”

”Smolin’s foul!”

Van Persie, Arteta, and others nearby immediately rushed to the referee, filled with emotion.

Manchester United manager Ferguson’s eyes quickly showed panic. He extended his right hand to stop Wenger from pressing forward, watching the referee’s actions.

Whether it was due to Wenger’s physical pressure or his inner anxiety.....his right hand trembled slightly.
