Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 43: Chapter 43: Don’t Tell Him I Came to See You

Kingston Group, in the large office of the design department.

More than a dozen top designers were busy, everyone was harmonious, and the work atmosphere was particularly strong.

Monica Usher unintentionally glanced up and saw Justin Kingston pass by outside the door. With one hand in his pocket and an imposing presence, he deeply attracted her.

In just a moment, he could linger in her heart for many years.

She smiled and focused on drawing a sketch.

From her hairstyle, earrings, to nails, every detail was exquisitely flamboyant. Monica Usher was a refined woman, dressed appropriately, tall in stature, and combined with her efficient work style, always gave people a sense of cold elegance.

Only a woman as outstanding as her could match CEO Kingston, many people had once thought.

The phone rang, Monica Usher glanced at the caller ID and quickly answered, ”Hello, Ian Shelby.”

”Mrs. Usher, did you call me?” The man on the other side of the phone apologized, ”My phone was charging just now. Did you need something?”

”I have something to discuss with you in person. Do you have time?”

”Where are you? I have a special interview at the club across from Kingston Group, ending around 11 o’clock.”

”Sure.” Monica Usher’s tone was relaxed, ”I just happen to be at the company.”

”See you then.”

”Alright.”

Feeling good, Monica Usher ended the call, checked the time, and then called to order a bouquet of flowers.

Ian Shelby recently developed a new type of vaccine and performed two brain surgeries, gaining a lot of fame in the industry. Only authoritative media could secure an interview with him.

Monica Usher arranged for a Freyne gastroenterologist to diagnose Justin Kingston, and the expert would arrive in Riventhal on the weekend, taking time out of his busy schedule.

So Monica Usher planned to meet Ian Shelby first to understand Justin Kingston’s situation over the past two years.

At 10:50, Monica Usher arrived at the club across from the company with a bouquet of flowers.

Through the clean glass wall, Ian Shelby, wearing a white shirt, was calmly answering the reporters’ questions with a smile, giving off an air of composure.

”Dr. Shelby, how do you view the rumors that you are the youngest genius pharmacist of our time?”

”Dr. Shelby, the 108 drugs you have developed so far have benefited humanity, and countless patients have written open thank-you letters to you. Have you read them?”

”Dr. Shelby, you are already a shining star in the medical world. What are your plans for the next five years?”

”As a doctor deeply rooted in the medical field, do you plan to devote your entire life to this industry?”

”Dr. Shelby, do you plan to take on apprentices?”

Ian Shelby spoke calmly, ”I was born for humanity. I am willing to trade my youth for the rebirth of patients. I will devote my life to the career I love.”

The audience responded with thunderous applause.

Monica Usher appreciated him greatly.

Unintentionally glancing aside, she saw Justin Kingston also holding a bouquet of flowers, standing not far away, looking intently through the glass door at Ian Shelby.

Monica Usher’s chest tightened slightly, and she quickly got up and left.

The applause resounded once more!

The interview was over, and the reporters gradually dispersed.

Justin Kingston walked into the glass door with the bouquet and approached Ian Shelby.

Ian Shelby’s achievements delighted Justin Kingston very much.

And Ian Shelby was also very grateful to Justin Kingston, as his sponsorship provided the best research equipment, allowing him not to worry about funding.

It was Justin Kingston who made Ian Shelby’s success possible.

”Congratulations.” Justin Kingston handed him a bouquet and hugged him, ”Congratulations on receiving the title of genius doctor.”

Ian Shelby, expressing thanks, heard a message notification on his phone. He took a look: it was from Monica Usher—

”Please don’t tell Justin Kingston about our meeting. I’ve left first.”

Justin Kingston asked, ”Did you make plans with a friend?”

”No.” Ian Shelby quickly put away his phone.

”Let’s have a cup of coffee.”

”Sure.”

The club was under The Kingston Group, luxuriously decorated, and Justin Kingston was very familiar with it. He and Ian Shelby went to the café at the back.

In the elegant and upscale environment, it was just the two of them.

”I’ve recently developed a nutritional solution that only needs to be injected once a day, but it’s still in the clinical trial phase.” Ian Shelby happily shared this good news, ”It can save you a lot of time.”

Justin Kingston shared his recent situation with him.

While Ian Shelby was delighted, he was also very curious, ”You can eat? Who is that person? Which chef did you hire?”
