Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Sleeping Together

The children’s anticipation made her feel incredibly sad. For the past six years, they must have been waiting for this moment day and night, right?

”Yes.” Mia Lane felt conflicted, feeling she owed the children too much, ”We’ll never be apart again.”

”Yay!!”

Gigi jumped three feet high with joy!

Justin Kingston watched this scene, his brow slightly furrowed, his eyes deepening little by little.

He just wanted to take on the responsibility of being a father and didn’t want the media to compare him to his father, thinking he was just as awful.

”Mommy, I’m sleepy.” Gigi looked up from her embrace, ”Aunt Zhou prepared a super cute children’s room for us. Do you want to go see it?”

”Let’s go!” Dolly grabbed her hand and headed toward the door, ”There’s also a big wind chime! The kind that sings, oh!”

Mia Lane was led to the children’s room by the kids.

It was indeed carefully decorated.

Seeing the kids so happy, Mia Lane felt comforted. In this world, nothing is more important than these two kids.

Although she sacrificed her own happiness, it was worth it to make it up to the children.

”Mommy, you have to sleep with Daddy tonight!” Gigi said sensibly, ”You haven’t seen each other for seven years. There must be so much to talk about, right?”

”Such a busybody.” Mia Lane patted her precious son’s head.

”Mommy.” Dolly lifted her little head, ”Since you’re married, you should sleep together tonight. There aren’t any extra rooms here!”

These kids even manage sleeping arrangements?

”Mommy, I’ll send you to Daddy’s room!” Gigi joyfully held her hand and pushed her back to the master bedroom.

Justin Kingston was still standing where he was, his hands in his pockets, exuding a cold and stern aura.

The children let go of her hand, turned around, and considerately closed the door behind them, making Mia Lane’s heart subtly thud.

In the room’s bright light, their eyes met.

Mia Lane felt extremely awkward! She never intended to stick to him!

”Since we’re married, the agreement makes it clear that we should act as a loving couple in front of the children,” Justin Kingston’s smooth and sexy lips parted slightly, ”So sleeping together is only a matter of time.”

With those words, Justin Kingston turned and entered the bathroom.

The sound of running water jolted Mia Lane back to reality. She glanced towards the bathroom direction, feeling inexplicably nervous.

After escaping for seven years, she was once again tied to him by a marriage contract.

It seemed she’d never escape his grasp in this lifetime.

To get a divorce, she’d have to ruin the Kingston family’s reputation, but then she’d never see the kids again...

Justin Kingston came out after his shower, a towel wrapped around his lower half. Startled, Mia Lane covered her eyes and turned away, her heart pounding!

This made the man instantly displeased. Was she disgusted by him?

Justin Kingston took steps towards her, Mia Lane hastily grabbed a robe from the bed and tossed it over, ”Put this on!”

The robe flew at him, and he caught it leisurely, draping it over himself without stopping his approach.

Mia Lane tried to turn around but saw he had tied the belt at his waist.

”What kind of skill is it to snatch the kids?! If you have the guts, challenge me directly! How is it manly to bully a weak woman with bodyguards?”

His presence was overwhelming, and the woman glared at him, huffing angrily. She hated him for acting like this!

”Challenge directly?” Justin Kingston slightly furrowed his brow, ”You and me?”

”Yeah!”

The man was unconcerned, stopping right in front of her and getting close, ”The bodyguards’ skills were taught by me. Beat them first, then talk. I, Justin Kingston, don’t hit women, especially not my wife. It would damage my reputation if it got out.”

Then, his large hand wrapped around her slender waist, pulling Mia Lane into his chest!

Justin Kingston looked down at her, his dark eyes becoming unfathomably deep, ”Don’t feel wronged. I hate lies the most. You hid such a big issue for seven years; that’s some nerve.”

”...” Feeling his simmering anger, Mia Lane felt guilty.

She dared not move; the heartbeats up close were clear to hear, so strong and powerful.

”Go to sleep.” He pushed her onto the bed and quickly turned off the main light.

In the faint light, she saw him remove the robe and join her in bed wearing only boxers.

”Lie down.”

”...” The woman’s heart fluttered violently. She squeezed her eyes shut, obediently lying beside him.

The night grew deeper.

The woman’s body remained tense, her thoughts chaotic!

But Justin Kingston lay there calmly with his eyes closed, as if asleep.

He showed no reaction... The subtle scent of herbal medicine in the air made him feel calm, his irritation eased slightly.

Mia Lane inadvertently recalled that night seven years ago... It was an indelible memory, her first time.

That’s why she remembered every detail clearly, her face turned red in the dark despite herself.

The next morning.

Used to sleeping on her stomach, Mia Lane felt so soft, so comfortable, so warm...

Her hand instinctively reached out to touch, lazily opening her drowsy eyes, discovering a solid, warm chest!

”Ah——”

She screamed, sitting up, almost scaring her soul away!
