Chapter 655: Chapter 656 Treating a Beauty’s Illness

Lin Chen nodded, sat down on the sofa, and started playing a game of Link Link on his phone.

But after just a short while, the sound of water from the bathroom made Lin Chen somewhat restless.

His gaze drifted towards the bathroom, where through his perspective vision, he could see the misty vapors, and a jade-like body loomed faintly within.

She really was a beauty! Gazing at the delicate figure inside the bathroom, Lin Chen couldn’t help but swallow his saliva.

Just as Lin Chen was appreciating the view, suddenly everything went dark before his eyes.

”Damn it, the power goes out just when it was getting interesting.”

”Ah!”

As Lin Chen was feeling frustrated, a scream suddenly came from inside the toilet.

”Not good, something’s happening.” Lin Chen’s expression changed, and he hurriedly rushed into the bathroom.

Inside the bathroom, Xia Ruoyu was squatting on the ground, trembling all over.

Lin Chen didn’t care that Xia Ruoyu was barely clothed at the moment and quickly went over to her, ”Ruoyu, what’s wrong?”

”I’m afraid, I’m scared, I have a fear of the dark,” Xia Ruoyu said, trembling.

Feeling helpless, Lin Chen said, ”Don’t be afraid, it’s okay, I’ll carry you out.”

As he spoke, Lin Chen picked up Xia Ruoyu, who was squatting on the ground, and brought her to the bed.

Lin Chen had just carried Xia Ruoyu out of the bathroom when the lights in the room suddenly came back on.

At that moment, right in front of Lin Chen was a mirror.

In the reflection, Lin Chen was holding the soaking wet Xia Ruoyu in his arms, appearing extremely intimate.

Xia Ruoyu’s cheeks also flushed with a touch of red and she hastily said, ”Put me down quickly.”

Lin Chen nodded and put Xia Ruoyu down.

Xia Ruoyu wanted to run to the bathroom to get dressed, but perhaps she was too nervous and slipped.

Lin Chen quickly reached out to catch Xia Ruoyu who was about to fall.

Lin Chen looked at his hands that still had the remnants of her fragrance and, thinking back to the intimate scene just now, couldn’t help but smile.

”She truly is a top-grade beauty, this touch, this scent, tsk tsk, simply too enjoyable.”

Half an hour later, Xia Ruoyu, with her face still flushed, came out of the bathroom.

When the two met again, the atmosphere was somewhat awkward.

”Ruoyu, I didn’t mean to earlier, I...”

Lin Chen was about to continue speaking when Xia Ruoyu put her hand over his mouth, ”It’s okay, it was my carelessness just now. I’m ready now, let’s start the treatment!”

Saying that, Xia Ruoyu lay down on the bed.

At this moment, Xia Ruoyu was modestly covered with a blanket below, her face showing shyness.

Gazing at the beauty before him, Lin Chen couldn’t help but feel some restlessness stirring in his heart.

”Let’s begin,” Xia Ruoyu said softly as she closed her eyes.

Lin Chen nodded, took out a silver needle from his pocket, and quickly filled several acupoints around Xia Ruoyu’s heart with the needles.

A warm sensation spread throughout her body, and Xia Ruoyu felt a wave of comfort; that stifling and uncomfortable feeling vanished without a trace in that moment.

Xia Ruoyu secretly opened her eyes and saw Lin Chen focusing intently on removing the silver needles from her body.

Watching Lin Chen’s fully engrossed expression, Xia Ruoyu, for some reason, found herself a little distracted.

”Mmm!” Xia Ruoyu nodded, her face flushed.

Using the massage technique provided by the popularity system, Lin Chen began to gently massage Xia Ruoyu.

Streams of True Qi flowed into her body with Lin Chen’s massage, clearing blockage after blockage in Xia Ruoyu’s veins.

At this moment, however, Xia Ruoyu felt somewhat embarrassed.

The sensation was incredibly comfortable, so much so that eventually she couldn’t help but let out a soft moan.

Lin Chen was already struggling to control his agitation, and hearing those moans only made it harder for him to hold back.

Finally, after half an hour, Lin Chen stopped the massage.

”All done, your acupoints are all clear now, and from now on, your heart will be healthy with no more problems,” Lin Chen said with a smile.

”Really?” Hearing Lin Chen’s words, Xia Ruoyu was overjoyed.

Her condition was congenital and countless renowned doctors had been unable to help, yet Lin Chen had cured her with a simple touch.

Xia Ruoyu, her face still flushed, put on her clothes. She had never imagined that one day she would lie in front of a man like this.

Thinking back to how Lin Chen’s hands felt on her body, Xia Ruoyu even felt a sense of not having had enough.

”Shameful, what am I even thinking?” Xia Ruoyu’s face turned even redder.

That was when a knock sounded on the door: ”Sister, husband, what are you doing?”

”Nani! Sister, husband!” Hearing this address, both Xia Ruoyu and Lin Chen felt an odd sensation.

”We’ve just finished the treatment, we’ll be right out,” Xia Ruoyu hurriedly said as she finished dressing.

Lin Chen opened the door, and Xia Qingqing looked at them suspiciously: ”Were you two up to something bad? Why did it take so long to open the door?”

”What nonsense, you silly girl. Mr. Lin was treating me,” said Xia Ruoyu, her face flushed.

”It’s okay, even if there was something, it wouldn’t matter,” Xia Qingqing said with a smile.

”Silly girl, who agreed with you on that,” Xia Ruoyu’s face turned as red as a thoroughly ripe strawberry.

Lin Chen said awkwardly, ”Well, it’s getting late, if there’s nothing else, I should be going.”

”Don’t, why don’t you stay over for the night, and I’ll sleep with you and my sister,” Xia Qingqing suggested.

”This!” Lin Chen could not deny he was tempted.

”Qingqing, what are you talking about? Mr. Lin isn’t that kind of person,” Xia Ruoyu reprimanded from the side.

”Mr. Lin, our estate has many guest rooms; why don’t you stay and leave tomorrow,” Xia Ruoyu suggested.

Lin Chen gave an awkward smile. He really wanted to say that he indeed was that kind of person, but such words couldn’t just be blurted out.

”No need, I have things to do tomorrow,” Lin Chen said, smiling.

The two sisters initially intended to escort Lin Chen back, but he refused, and in the end, the Xia family’s old butler personally drove Lin Chen back to the villa.

”Mr. Lin, I’ve never seen the young ladies so enthusiastic about a boy before,” While driving, the old butler laughed.

Lin Chen responded with a smile, ”Perhaps I’m just good with people! Old Wei, you really didn’t have to drive me yourself.”

”Oh, I must, the master said you are our Xia family’s honored guest. If it weren’t for an urgent matter the master had in Huaxia, he definitely wouldn’t have let you leave tonight, and would have wanted a long talk with you!” Old Wei responded with a chuckle.

”Then please extend my thanks to Master Xia,” Lin Chen said with a smile.

The Xia family’s estate was about an hour’s drive from Xu Jiayi’s villa. With the road being less traveled, they arrived quickly.

After bidding farewell to Old Wei, Lin Chen was just about to enter the villa when he noticed a dark figure hiding in the bushes, aiming a crossbow at him.
