Chapter 616: Chapter 617: Brother Hei

When Lin Chen picked up the microphone, Matthew’s lips curled into a cold sneer, ”A stinking worker, I just don’t believe your singing can be any good.”

However, as soon as Lin Chen opened his mouth, the entire room was instantly stunned.

The song ”Sweet Honey” in Language T was sung by Lin Chen so perfectly that his voice could simply be described as the sound of heaven.

An Xiaodi’s voice was also very pleasant to the ear, and the two of them conveyed the emotions of a pair of love-struck lovers to the fullest.

Along with the applause, Lin Chen and An Xiaodi’s performance finally came to an end.

Matthew’s face grew uglier by the moment, and he muttered a few words into the ears of several young men beside him.

Loud applause echoed throughout the KTV, everyone clapped their hands, and even many girls showed admiring expressions on their faces.

Lin Chen was naturally handsome, and sang exceptionally well, his appeal was enough to crush all the other men present.

”Brother Lin’s singing is really good! Let me toast to you.” Right after Lin Chen put down the microphone, a young man started to propose a toast.

Lin Chen’s lips lifted slightly in a smile, as he almost never refused a toast from the group of young men, accepting them all.

According to Matthew’s plan, Lin Chen should have been drunk by now, but this guy seemed to be fine.

As time went on, Lin Chen took the initiative and repeatedly offered toasts to several people.

”Damn, is this kid an immortal when it comes to drinking?”

Several young men were tottering, and continuously, some ran off to the restroom to vomit violently.

Yet Lin Chen, who had drunk several bundles of beer, seemed to be unaffected.

”Brother Xiu, thank you for today, for being so warm. I haven’t had such a good drink in a long time,” Lin Chen said as he passed the glass to Matthew.

”No more, I, I can’t drink anymore, brother Chen, please spare me...” Right then, Matthew’s face was as red as a monkey’s butt, and he was slurring his speech.

Just at that moment, a young man staggered over: ”Brother Xiu, bad news, Samba got beaten up in the restroom.”

”Fuck, dare to hit my brother, guys, grab your weapons.” At this point, a few young men, as drunk as Lords, heatedly grabbed their bottles and rushed out.

Seeing the worried expression on An Xiaodi’s face, Lin Chen smiled, ”Don’t worry, I’m here!”

With that, Lin Chen followed the others to the restroom.

At the moment, seven or eight young men were surrounding a yellow-haired guy in his early twenties, pummeling him with punches and kicks.

The yellow-haired guy was being beaten so badly that he was screaming and curled up into a ball.

Matthew looked on with pride: ”Kid, you dare hit my brother, you’re looking for death.”

Eventually, he took out all his anger on that lad from before, smashing a beer bottle on the yellow-haired guy’s head before triumphantly returning with the group of young men.

Back in the private room, several young men were excitedly discussing the scene of them beating up the yellow-haired guy in the restroom.

Matthew’s face hardened as he glanced at Lin Chen: ”Today, my brothers all did well, but there was one person who was exceedingly cowardly, just standing at the door scared stiff, right?”

”Exactly, Lin Chen, didn’t expect you to be such a coward, not even daring to throw a punch.”

”Ha ha, just now you must have been shaking with fear.”

A few people caught hold of this small flaw and began to mock and ridicule Lin Chen.

Just then, the door was kicked open with a bang, and about twenty to thirty burly men stormed in.

The yellow-haired guy stood in the middle of the crowd, pointing at Matthew and the others: ”They are the ones who beat me up just now.”

A bald man with a nose ring shone with a menacing look in his eyes: ”Damn, you’ve got some nerve, even daring to hit Blackie’s brother. The Blackies would like to have a word with you, please come with us.”

”Brother Hei!” Hearing this name, Matthew nearly wet himself in fear.

Brother Hei was a notorious figure in the West Side, known for his fiendish reputation and for being fiercely protective of his people.

They could never have dreamed that the person they’d just beaten up was one of Brother Hei’s men.

At that moment, their drunkenness had sobered up by half, and Matthew stood up shaking: ”Big Brother, we were wrong. We didn’t know he was Brother Hei’s man.”

”Go to hell with your nonsense. Stop blabbering and get up, follow us,” the bald man snorted coldly.

These people were all students, after all. Seeing the knives that the thugs revealed, how could they dare resist? They were trembling as the thugs pushed them towards another private room.

They were escorted into a larger private room where a middle-aged man was sitting on the sofa in the center, with a scantily clad woman on each arm, singing a song.

His voice was nothing short of wailing, what pissed Lin Chen off was that despite the horrible singing, the men and women in the KTV kept on cheering.

At this point, Matthew and his complacent friends were standing in the middle of the private room, shaking uncontrollably.

Brother Hei had been a bare-knuckle fighter in the past. He was brutal and ruthless. Anyone who offended him ended up dead or disabled, with a pitiful end.

Matthew was now filled with regret; if it weren’t for Lin Chen getting them too drunk, they wouldn’t have impulsively hit that blond guy in the heat of the moment.

After the song ended, Brother Hei put down the microphone and gave the few people a cold glance.

”Akun, who was it that hit you just now?” Brother Hei asked coldly.

Akun looked resentfully at the group, pointed his finger at them: him, him and him...

It didn’t take long for Akun to point out everyone who had been involved in the assault.

Aside from Lin Chen, several boys were dragged out by the thugs and made to kneel on the ground, receiving kicks on their legs.

The boys were now so frightened that they were shaking violently, and some of them even wet themselves out of fear.

Brother Hei glared at them coldly: ”Are you tired of living, daring to strike Brother Hei’s own brother?”

”Brother Hei, please spare us, we truly didn’t know that man was your brother,” Matthew pleaded with a trembling voice and a mournful face.

”Oh, so you didn’t know just now but you do now, huh? Drag these people out and cripple their arms and legs,” Brother Hei said coldly.

”No, please, no...” the few people turned pale.

However, a dozen burly men unceremoniously hoisted Matthew and the others up and dragged them away.

”Wait a second.” At that moment, An Xiaodi stood up.

Upon seeing An Xiaodi suddenly stand up, Brother Hei squinted his eyes slightly: ”What a pretty girl! What do you want, sweetheart?”

An Xiaodi said, ”It’s wrong for them to have beaten someone, but their actions don’t deserve broken limbs. Please show mercy, Brother Hei, and release them. We will compensate the man they hurt.”

Brother Hei didn’t even listen to An Xiaodi’s words. His gaze was fixed on her perky chest.

”Beauty, it’s not hard to let them go, you just have to keep me company tonight,” Brother Hei leered at An Xiaodi, almost drooling over her.

Compared to An Xiaodi, the two women beside him were nothing but trash.

”Xiaodi, just keep Brother Hei company, and he will let us go,” Matthew’s eyes lit up as if he had seen a savior and called out.

The other boys also begged desperately, ”Xiaodi, please save us. Just spend one night with Brother Hei.”

Hearing the boys’ words, An Xiaodi’s heart went cold. She never imagined that by intervening to save them, these people would be so shameless, trading her innocence for their safety.

”You deserve to die,” An Xiaodi snorted coldly and ignored them.

But Brother Hei’s face bore a thick, sinister smile: ”Beauty, whether you save them or not, you’re not leaving here tonight. Spend a good night with me.”
