Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 861: Chapter 623: The Chaos Caused by a Minibus (Double-Length Chapter)

”Director Li, what should we do now?” Luo inquired from the other side.

Li Yu didn’t hesitate and made a decision.

”Everyone else, hold your positions, Old Bi, you’re the closest, go check it out.” Li Yu spoke into the walkie-talkie to everyone.

Old Bi and the others were downstairs, guarding the vehicles, making it convenient for them to move.

Immediately, Li Yu instructed Old Bi again: ”Old Bi, after you go over there, don’t kill right away, ask them where they’re from, why they’ve come to Juzi Island, then seize them, tie them up, and bring them over.”

Old Bi replied, ”Okay, I’m on my way.”

Downstairs, Old Bi instructed the driver to drive over to that side.

....

On top of the building, Li Yu continued to observe the movements of that group.

With the telescope, he could clearly see that these people seemed somewhat excited.

A man with long yellow hair jumped off the vehicle, excitedly pointing at the surrounding ruins, seemingly cursing.

Several others disembarked.

Their appearances were quite unique, one of them even carrying a mace, with some unknown red paint streaked on his face in three stripes.

This group was rummaging all over Juzi Island.

But after Li Gang and his team had cleaned up the battlefield, essentially all useful items had been taken away.

All that was left was worthless rubble and trash.

The group searched around, appearing a bit irritable when they found nothing useful.

Finally, the young man with long yellow hair urinated on the ruins of the central residential building.

Li Gang, who had been observing them, quipped, ”Pathetic.”

Li Yu gave him a speechless look: ”...”

This damn competitiveness, even at a time like this, they’re still comparing.

However, as of now, it seems like these people only have some melee weapons, no firearms.

So Li Yu relayed this information to Old Bi and his team who were on the way.

.....

Quickly.

Li Yu saw Old Bi and his team enter the Yinpang Road Tunnel.

A minute later, they appeared at Juzi Island.

.....

After entering Juzi Island, Old Bi instructed the driver to drive into the island.

Old Bi had the driver wait in the car, while the other six got out with him.

Just as they entered Juzi Island.

The man with the lip piercing among the young men who looked like artists noticed Old Bi and his team.

”Emperor, someone’s here.” The lip-pierced man shouted to the man with long yellow hair.

The group immediately stopped rummaging and looked nervously at Old Bi and his team.

The man with long yellow hair ran out from the rubble, eyeing Old Bi and his crew.

Upon seeing them with firearms, a flash of fear crossed his eyes.

He quickly said to the others, ”Go, go, go, retreat.”

Of course, Old Bi heard him, and so he said to the ”Emperor,” ”Don’t move, if you don’t want to die, don’t get in the car.”

He slightly raised his gun, aiming it at them, the six behind him mirroring his actions.

The ”Emperor” forced a wry smile, saying to Old Bi, ”Don’t shoot, don’t shoot, we’re just passing by, curious to have a look. We’ll leave now.”

Internally cursing the lip-pierced man, if not for his suggestion to come have a look, he wouldn’t have come over.

Yesterday, they were scavenging nearby, and happened to hear such huge commotion; after noon, it went silent, seeing as there were no people around, they got enticed by the lip-pierced man’s claim: there’s surely good stuff over there.

”Curiosity killed the cat, should’ve known better than to join the fun,” the man with long yellow hair cursed internally.

With a flattering smile, he hoped Old Bi and his crew would let him go.

But Old Bi had received Li Yu’s order to seize them all, of course he wouldn’t let them go.

So he cautiously approached, asking, ”You’re just passing by, then why head directly to Juzi Island?”

The man with long yellow hair was instantly caught embarrassed, and could only frankly say, ”We were just nearby yesterday, heard the commotion, after yesterday there’s been nothing, we’ve long heard of Juzi Island’s reputation, thinking there might’ve been a skirmish, wanted to come and see if we could pick anything up.”

Old Bi remained noncommittal, turning to the side as he pressed the walkie-talkie, relaying the long-haired man’s words to Li Yu.

Li Yu’s expression turned a bit pained, Damn, these lunatics.

”Bring them back,” Li Yu said.

”Alright,” Old Bi replied.

Then, pointing the gun, he commanded, ”Behave, hands on your head, kneel down.”

Two of the group complied eagerly, following Old Bi’s command.

But the long-haired man hesitated for a moment, then pleaded again, ”Spare us, we’re really just passing by, we’ll leave now. Saucy, start the car.”

The young man with flamboyant purple hair, hearing the ”Emperor”’s words, tried to stealthily move towards the car.

Bam—

Old Bi fired a shot right in front of the young man with purple hair.

The gunshot instantly intimidated them.

That gun, it’s real.

The young man with purple hair immediately complied, putting his hands on his head and kneeling down.

Seeing Saucy kneel in a second, the long-haired man felt somewhat helpless.

The other man and the lip-pierced one also complied.

Now it was just him left.
