NTR: Barbarian Harem Conquest

The stadium remained locked in that silence for one more breath.

Then every beast on the tiers looked at the kneeling, blood-soaked human as if the world itself had tilted.

Thousands of eyes, pure-blood, southern, river, deeper packs, stared at the bisected, headless remains of Grathak and the broken variable still upright on one knee beside them.

The system window exploded across Kane’s vision in cascading gold and blue, overlapping so fast the text nearly blurred.

Kane dismissed the cascade with a blink. He did not have the strength to read further.

The pure-blood sections recovered first.

An ugly murmur rolled down the tiers and became open voices.

”He... he killed our king.”

”The barbarian dies here.”

”Cut him down before the southern dogs claim the floor—”

Bodies began to move. Warriors vaulted rails. Pure-blood retainers and palace lackeys closed from every direction, weapons already drawn, the scent of rage and opportunity thick in the air.

The circle tightened fast.

Kessa hit the floor first, striped tail lashing, short blades out, placing herself directly in front of Kane’s kneeling form.

Griselda landed a heartbeat later, wings flared wide, yellow eyes cold, divine light already gathering along her forearms.

The two of them formed a lethal barrier between the advancing beasts and the man who could barely stay conscious.

Kessa’s voice cracked like a whip.

”First one who takes another step loses a hand.”

A pure-blood captain sneered, already closing.

”Out of the way, tiger. The outsider murdered the emperor in front of the packs. There is no protection for that.”

Griselda’s reply was quieter and far colder.

”There is, if you want to find out what happens when the winged one stops holding back.”

The circle kept tightening.

Spears lowered. Claws flexed.

The southern and river clusters on the lower tiers had begun moving too, but they were still seconds too far.

Kane tried to force himself fully upright and felt the shattered ribs grind.

The system’s emergency protocols were the only reason he remained conscious at all.

Then Marisa’s voice cut across the entire arena like a blade.

”ENOUGH!”

Every head turned.

She had reached the edge of the floor.

Eyes swept the closing pure-blood ranks with something that was no longer only political calculation.

When she spoke again, the words carried to the highest tiers without effort.

”You watched the challenge accepted under open rules. You watched the emperor mutate mid-fight and break those rules with divine-adjacent power. You watched the variable still stand and take his head. Beasts respect strength above blood, above tradition, above the comfort of the previous center.”

”But...”

”If you cut down the one who just proved that strength in front of every banner, you shame every pack that ever claimed to follow the old ways. You become the ones who only respect power when it loses.”

The advance stuttered.

A pure-blood line head snarled.

”He used the axe after the rules were set—”

”After my brother stopped being the creature who accepted the rules,” Marisa answered.

”The densification was no longer only his. The mutation was no longer only his. The variable answered what stood in front of him. That is the only measure that has ever mattered on this floor.”

Movement on the southern and river sections resolved into clear reinforcement.

Vorra’s representative and her staged warriors pushed through to the floor’s edge.

Shenron’s broad, scarred form appeared among them, red eyes hard, the two-hundred-year-old broadsword already in hand. More pragmatic deeper-blood voices followed.

The pure-blood circle found itself suddenly facing not only Kessa and Griselda but a growing wall of southern steel and river commitment.

Shenron’s voice rolled across the stone.

”The southern and river packs already chose the side that still intends to face the sky. Stand down or be moved.”

The standoff held for three long heartbeats.

Marisa did not wait for it to break the wrong way.

She walked straight to the bisected remains, ignored the black fluid still seeping across the stone, and reached into the ruined chest cavity of what had been her brother.

When her hand withdrew, it held an iron-and-bone circlet that had sat near the heart, old, heavy with the same forest weight the Guardian’s fragment had carried.

She set it on her own head without ceremony.

Light, pale green and deep amber, flared once along the circlet’s surface and then settled into a steady radiance.

The air in the arena shifted.

Every beast present felt the same instinctive recognition that had once answered Grathak’s presence, only cleaner, colder, and newly claimed.

Marisa’s voice was quiet and absolute.

”The center holds. The experiments end. The breeding cages open. Berakamon turns outward. Kneel or leave.”

For a moment nothing moved.

Then the southern and river warriors went to one knee in a single coordinated wave.

Shenron followed. Vorra’s people followed.

The deeper pragmatic packs followed in uneven stages.

Even a portion of the pure-blood ranks, those who had always measured power more carefully than pride, bent the knee.

The hardliners who remained standing found themselves isolated and outnumbered.

One by one, under the weight of the new circlet’s light and the open steel around them, they knelt as well.

The upper arena of Berakamon had a new queen under open sky.

Two days passed.

Kane woke in a quiet resting chamber high in the palace, the worst of the catastrophic damage stabilized by aggressive system recovery, Griselda’s remaining divine work, and whatever elixirs Marisa’s people had forced into him while he was under.

The left arm was in a rigid brace. Ribs were bound. The red aura and the one-minute overload had left deeper scars the system was still cataloguing.

Kessa and Griselda were nowhere in the room.

He sat up slowly, feeling every repaired fracture protest, and let the single thought that had waited beneath the exhaustion rise.

The yellow eyes. Beelzebub. The casual dismissal of Grathak as a pawn.

’I need to move fast.’

The essence work had been only a test. The densification was only data.

Sixty days was no longer a vision-seer’s window.

It was a countdown the Supreme Devils themselves had acknowledged.
