NTR: Barbarian Harem Conquest

Kessa started to speak. Shenron cut her off with a look.

”And you. We will talk later about why you brought him here smelling like that and thinking it would be simple.”

Kessa’s tail flicked, but she only nodded.

Kane rose first.

He didn’t offer thanks.

Shenron didn’t expect any. Griselda fell in behind him without a word. As they were led toward a smaller side tent that would serve as overnight quarters, the watching beastmen parted again, still hungry-eyed, still calculating, but no longer testing the edge of Shenron’s order.

Kane sat outside the guest tent on a low wooden bench, Mjoldr resting against the wall beside him.

The settlement hadn’t quieted with nightfall.

Beastmen jumped and grappled in open circles, laughing when someone hit the dirt hard enough to raise dust. Others passed clay bottles of dark wine, the liquid spilling over scarred chins and chests.

The air smelled of meat, musk, and the sharp tang of fermented fruit.

A beastwoman peeled away from one of the drinking groups and walked straight toward him.

She was broad-hipped, striped in muted gold and black, breasts heavy under a loose wrap that left most of her stomach bare.

Without a word, she held out a fresh bottle.

Kane took it. She turned immediately, intending to settle onto his lap and grind against him the way the wine and the night encouraged.

She never made it.

The pressure hit her from the side like a physical weight. Kessa stepped out of the tent shadow, ears angled forward, striped tail rigid.

The approaching female froze, met Kessa’s eyes for half a second, then bolted back toward the fire without looking at Kane again.

Kessa walked over, swung one leg across him, and sat fully on his lap. She took the bottle from his hand, drank a long swallow, then leaned in and kissed him, pushing the wine into his mouth with her tongue.

Kane didn’t refuse. His hand settled hard on her waist, fingers pressing into the muscle as he tasted her and the wine together.

When she pulled back, he spoke against her mouth.

”Your people are lovely.”

Kessa’s laugh was low.

”And horny. Especially because you look like a beast yourself. They think they have a chance.”

”They don’t.”

”You alone are hard to manage,” she teased, rolling her hips once so the heat of her cunt pressed against the growing thickness in his trousers.

Kane’s grip tightened.

Across the open ground, Griselda sat alone near the tent wall, wings folded, yellow eyes reflecting the firelight.

Kane lifted his free hand and beckoned her over.

She rose without expression and settled on the bench beside them, close enough that her shoulder almost brushed his.

”Have you visited this empire before?” he asked.

”I did. Hundreds of years ago.”

”And how was its ruler?”

Griselda’s gaze moved across the jumping, drinking beastmen.

”That time the beastmen were one with the others. There were no borders. Empires traded and fought and fucked without the walls you see now. Only after the humans betrayed the old pacts did they close the forests and start collecting what crossed their lines.”

Kessa’s face fell.

The easy heat in her body didn’t disappear, but something quieter moved behind her eyes.

Kane’s arm around her waist tightened, pulling her more firmly against his chest. She leaned into the hold without speaking.

A different tent flap opened farther down the row.

Shenron stepped out, long brown hair damp with sweat, red eyes half-lidded.

He was tying a simple robe around his waist. Behind him, through the brief gap in the fabric, two naked beastwomen lay on a spread of furs, chests still rising hard, thighs shiny, clearly spent.

One of them turned her head and watched him leave with a dazed expression.

Kane glanced at the scene, then at Kessa.

”Your brother must be in heat.”

Kessa laughed, the sound bright against his throat.

”He cycles hard. Always has.”

Shenron’s red eyes found them. He stopped a few paces away, taking in the sight of his sister, who had never allowed casual touch from any male in the settlement, sitting fully on a barbarian’s lap like a claimed mate.

Something complicated moved across his scarred face: approval that she had found strength she respected, and dislike that the strength belonged to a human he still couldn’t fully read.

Kane felt the stare.

”He’s staring.”

”Let him.”

Kessa turned her head and pressed an open-mouthed kiss to the side of Kane’s neck, tongue flicking once over the pulse. Her voice dropped so only he could hear.

”Should I fuck you now?”

Kane’s hand slid lower on her waist, thumb brushing the top of her thigh.

”I would love to, but I have to respect your brother.”

Kessa made a small, frustrated sound and bit lightly at his throat before settling back against him.

The bottle of wine passed between them again.

Griselda remained silent on the other side, but her yellow eyes tracked Shenron until the older tiger-striped male finally turned and walked back toward the main fires.

The night deepened.

Beastmen continued their contests and drinking.

Every so often another female drifted close, drawn by the scent of Kane and the open display of Kessa on his lap, only to peel away the moment Kessa’s ears angled in their direction.

Kane kept one hand on her, the other resting near Mjoldr, and let the settlement’s noise wash over them.

Later, when the fires burned lower, and most of the open grappling had turned into exhausted sprawls, Kessa shifted in his lap until her mouth was at his ear.

”When we leave this place and the trees close again, I’m taking you against the first solid trunk we find. Heat or no heat.”

Kane’s fingers dug into her hip in answer.

”I’ll hold you to it.”

Griselda finally spoke, voice quiet.

”The packs further in will not be this restrained. Once we cross the true border, the staring becomes hunting.”
