Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

At first, the Celestials had chosen to submit because they believed the power of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons could bring them benefits and raise the entire race to another level.

The Celestials had ambition. They did not want to be merely a top hundred starfield. They wanted to become one of the ten great starfields.

They even dreamed of becoming one of the rulers of this universe. What meaning was there in remaining beneath others forever?

In addition, they themselves had a Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token and knew this object had been left behind by supreme experts like the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperors. It contained an indescribable power.

The Celestial Starfield Lord and many high-level figures all felt that under such circumstances, they could first choose to submit to the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, then wait until they became stronger.

By using the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token, perhaps one day, they could just rise again.

At that time, they would no longer need to remain beneath anyone, nor would they need to act as they had before, following the Ji Clan’s lead in everything.

In the Celestials’ view, this was an opportunity.

For this, what did it matter if they became traitors?

Even if they made enemies of all the races of the universe, so what?

As long as they could become strong and rise to the top eventually, nothing else was a problem.

But now, after the battle of the Thunderflash Mountain Range, and after hearing that the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token had also vanished mysteriously, the expressions of the Celestial Starfield Lord and the high-level figures all changed drastically.

In that battle, many of their race’s elites had already been killed outright. The entire Celestial Race had suffered a major blow, and a rift had also appeared between them and the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons.

They had placed almost all their hope on the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token. But now, even this object had disappeared.

Didn’t that mean that all hope was gone?

”No... This cannot be. We paid such a heavy price, and we end up losing everything?”

The Celestial Starfield Lord spoke, his eyes full of hatred. ”No. I will never accept such an ending.”

Things had already reached this point. They had betrayed the entire Xuanhuang Cosmos and were regarded as enemies by the Jiang Clan and the Mohe Clan. If things continued like this, there might be no place for the Celestials in the entire world.

The Extracosmic Heavenly Demons?

He had never placed hope in such people. They were outsiders. The Celestial Starfield Lord had only wanted to use them as stepping stones and had never trusted them.

In other words, the current Celestials were almost unwelcome on both sides. This was a result he had never imagined, and the high-level figures present had never imagined it either.

What they had to do next was find a way to change it.

The problem was, how?

Continue seeking out the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons?

Everyone was silent, their emotions extremely low. None of them had imagined the situation would turn out to be like this.

Rumble.

At this moment, a violent roar rang out from the sky. All the Celestials present immediately raised their heads, their expressions changing slightly.

A powerful aura was slowly descending.

Everyone froze. They did not understand what was happening. From that aura, they could sense that it did not belong to an Extracosmic Heavenly Demon.

What was going on?

While the Celestials were puzzled, the void in the sky split open.

A figure walked out from within. It was a young man. Golden blood qi enveloped him. Just standing there, he gave people an extremely strong sense of oppression.

The newcomer was naturally Lu Yuan.

”It’s him?” The Celestials recognized him immediately, their expressions faltering.

In the previous battle at the Thunderflash Mountain Range, they had originally held the upper hand. Facing the alliance of the various clans, they could steadily resist.

But the situation had changed when Lu Yuan appeared and killed many Celestial elites. Most of their current predicament had been caused by this man.

”We have not gone looking for you, yet you actually dare appear,” a Celestial expert spat out, his words laced with anger and killing intent.

Without another word, he took one step forward and appeared before Lu Yuan. Then, without hesitation, his aura began to surge violently, and black lightning emerged one bolt after another.

Just as mentioned before, he felt that Lu Yuan was the cause of the Celestials’ current predicament.

However, Lu Yuan’s gaze did not change at all in the face of the attack. He merely struck out lightly with his palm.

In an instant, the Celestial expert retreated rapidly. Half of him was blown apart, and blood scattered across the sky. He was at the Creation Immortal Realm, but compared to Lu Yuan, he was still too weak and amounted to nothing.

Thus, he was defeated and heavily injured the moment they exchanged blows.

From beginning to end, Lu Yuan had not used his full power. To him, this Celestial could not be considered an opponent.

Ever since his appearance, his gaze had remained fixed on the Celestial Starfield Lord. His intention was already clear.

”He came for me.”

At this moment, the Celestial Starfield Lord spoke, his eyes narrowing slightly. His black wings trembled continuously, stirring the power of wind and lightning.

He did not know who this person was. However, he already felt that although Lu Yuan looked young, he was extremely difficult to deal with.

If he did not respond carefully, there might be serious trouble.

Moreover, Lu Yuan seemed to have come to fight him.

Immediately, he looked at the clansmen beside him and said, ”All of you, watch from the side for now. Leave things to me.”

Among the clansmen beside him were Grotto-Heaven Immortals and Creation Immortals, but without exception, none were a match for Lu Yuan. If he let them join him, it would be no different from sending them to their deaths.

Therefore, the other Celestials could not interfere in the upcoming battle. A battle at the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm was not something ordinary people could endure.

After his declaration, the Celestial Starfield Lord’s gaze remained steady. His wings trembled slightly, and he appeared opposite Lu Yuan.

”I can tell that you are very strong, but you have not reached the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm. Although I admire your fighting spirit, I still have to say this. Since you have delivered yourself to my door, don’t think you can leave,” the Celestial Starfield Lord said.

To him, it did not matter what Lu Yuan’s purpose for coming was. What mattered was that Lu Yuan’s appearance had given him an opportunity, an opportunity to avenge those clansmen.

Without reaching the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm, no matter how extraordinary Lu Yuan’s battle prowess was, it was impossible to fight across realms.

It just so happened that many recent matters had left him with towering resentment and nowhere to release it. In the Celestial Starfield Lord’s eyes, Lu Yuan’s appearance was an act of seeking death.

In the next instant, aura surged from the Celestial Starfield Lord. The power of wind and lightning shook, threatening to shatter the skies.
