Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

The crises of Earth and even the Milky Way Starfield had almost all been resolved through Lu Yuan’s various methods. If he remained, all he could do was stabilize the existing situation.

The problem was that his cultivation and evolution had already reached a bottleneck. Without great battles, he would likely need a very long time before he could advance another step. Clearly, that would not do. The Extracosmic Heavenly Demons had already descended.

In addition, the two forces were still watching hungrily from the side. Lu Yuan knew that he had to grow stronger quickly.

He could no longer proceed step by step as he had before, slowly cultivating and evolving.

If an opportunity appeared, he naturally had to reach a higher realm in the shortest time possible.

The Celestial Seat Immortal Realm was only a temporary goal. If possible, attaining the Supreme Immortal Realm was also necessary. Only then would he be able to face greater and more dangerous crises.

Therefore, Lu Yuan had now come into the wider cosmos, wishing to battle the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons that had descended.

His purpose was to seek a breakthrough amid great battles. As he had just thought, he would campaign through the starry sky.

He stood on this planet filled with magma, where the temperature reached several thousand degrees.

His expression did not change. Lu Yuan was too powerful for such an extreme environment to affect him at all.

”At our current speed, how long will it take to reach the Thunderflash Starfield?” Lu Yuan asked, raising his head. His eyes seemed to pierce through endless distance. What entered his sight were stars filling the sky and the empty, desolate vastness of the universe.

Fortunately, they had the star map formed from domain points. Otherwise, even with his cultivation, crossing starfields to reach the place he wanted would be extremely troublesome.

Compared to the entire starry universe, even a Creation Immortal appeared small.

”If we rely only on your method of opening void passages, it will probably take close to half a year to reach the Thunderflash Starfield. Unless you comprehend the power of the Celestial Seat laws, it will not be any faster.”

Jiang Ningxian smiled from beside him. She had crossed the starry cosmos to reach Earth, so she naturally understood this well.

The other Jiang Clan members also nodded, knowing that this method of travel would not work.

Hearing this, Lu Yuan paused, then rubbed his nose. He could tell that she definitely had another method.

Everyone present knew this.

Only Lu Yuan did not.

There was no helping it. Although his realm was high and his strength powerful, he had lived on Earth all along.

His knowledge of the wider cosmos, and of many other things, was non-existent. This was also one of the reasons Lu Yuan had chosen to leave Earth.

He had to step out and understand more.

If he remained on Earth forever while knowing so little about this world and the entire universe, how could he reach the highest heights?

”We need to use a Teleportation Dao Platform. With it, reaching the Thunderflash Starfield will take only a month, because the Thunderflash Starfield is not far from the Milky Way Starfield to begin with,” Jiang Ningxian explained at the right moment.

The so-called Teleportation Dao Platforms had been left behind long ago by the sages of various starfields, though no one could now verify why they had first appeared. There were only suspected records saying that they were closely connected to the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor.

These Dao Platforms could be understood as another type of void passage.

The difference was that a Teleportation Dao Platform could cross an extremely vast distance. It could even cross distances that even a Supreme Immortal could not.

In fact, when the major starfields had chosen to descend upon the Milky Way Starfield, they had also used Teleportation Dao Platforms.

These Dao Platforms were spread throughout many corners of the cosmos and connected the various starfields. As long as one possessed domain points, one could find them and avoid becoming completely lost in the universe.

Of course, the places where the Dao Platforms were located were usually far from planets with life.

The existences who arranged the Dao Platforms had a simple concern. Some people might use them to slaughter weaker beings. Therefore, after leaving Earth, the group first had to rely on certain methods to find the location of a Dao Platform.

”I see.” Lu Yuan nodded, understanding at once. He suddenly felt that the sages who had arranged the Dao Platforms had planned everything thoroughly. They had taken certain weaker beings into consideration.

Immediately, he stopped thinking about it and asked, ”Then how long will it take us to reach the nearest Dao Platform?”

”Not long. Three to five days at most,” Jiang Haokong answered. He seemed long accustomed to crossing the starry sky. Back then, he had traveled alone from the Desolate Flame Starfield to the Milky Way Starfield.

Thus, he did not have much curiosity or interest in such things. He only wanted to reach the Thunderflash Starfield quickly. Then he could see what these so-called Extracosmic Heavenly Demons were for himself.

When Lu Yuan heard that it would take three to five days, he was slightly surprised.

The reason was clear. It might sound simple enough, but this required him to continuously open void passages.

Although it would not affect him and was merely travel, how much distance would they cross over three to five consecutive days? By Earth’s technological level before the awakening, humans could not even cover this distance even after spending a hundred years.

This was the vastness of the universe.

”Then let’s go.”

Lu Yuan stopped thinking about it. He once again tore open the void and constructed another void passage. The most important thing now was indeed to reach their destination as quickly as possible.

Then they could see exactly what the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons were, learn what had happened in the Thunderflash Starfield, and find out what had become of the Celestials.

Just like that, as Lu Yuan continuously opened void passages, time passed bit by bit.

During this period, they crossed many planets. Some were covered in magma, some were bitterly cold, while others were entirely covered in seawater.

Each was different. However, almost all of those planets had no life on it. Only eternal desolation seemed fit to describe them.

Lu Yuan’s horizons began to broaden. For the first time, he sensed this universe in a concrete way.

Finally, five days later, the group slowly walked out from a void passage.

They had arrived on another planet. This planet had a sky and earth, but the land was filled with yellow sand.

More importantly, Lu Yuan discovered that this planet gave him a special feeling.

It was something none of the other planets had possessed. This place was actually suitable for life, yet there were no people at all. It was very strange.

”What an odd place.” Seeing this, Lu Yuan shook his head, then looked toward Jiang Ningxian.

She immediately understood what he was thinking and said, ”We have arrived at the Teleportation Dao Platform.”
