Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

As Lu Yuan spoke, his gaze shifted slightly. Just like his laid-out plan, after he left, the people of the Celestial Court would have to stand their own ground. He naturally trusted Zhu Qingyu, Ice Fairy, and the younger generation.

Moreover, he had already dealt with many of their strong enemies, so nothing major should happen.

As such, he could leave without too much worry. But he also understood that this could be considered a kind of test.

Without a powerful expert holding the fort, what would the Celestial Court do next? Would ordinary people still be protected as before?

All of this required those people to make their own efforts.

Regarding this, Lu Yuan believed in the abilities of the Celestial Court’s members. But having faith was independent of worry. Both could mutually exist.

”Yes. After you leave, they will have to lead everything themselves.”

Beside him, Jiang Ningxian nodded in acknowledgement. She knew that the current situation of the Milky Way Starfield and Earth was largely the result of Lu Yuan’s efforts.

Without him, the situation would absolutely change. Of course, this change would not be too great, because the Jiang Clan was still here. Only a few people were leaving.

But since those leaving were all powerful experts, there would more or less still be an impact.

”No matter what, the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons are a major matter.”

Lu Yuan understood that he had no choice but to leave. After a brief moment of thought, he said, ”Let’s depart three days from now.”

The Jiang clansmen could naturally move out at any time, but he still needed to arrange many things.

For example, after he left, how should the Celestial Court face those Outer Cosmos beings?

There were also a series of matters afterward. In short, Lu Yuan could not just leave like this.

”All right.” Jiang Ningxian naturally had no objection.

The current situation was that the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons had already been discovered. Leaving a day earlier or later would not affect anything.

Afterward, the two chatted for a while longer, and Jiang Ningxian walked out of the courtyard, leaving Lu Yuan alone.

Lu Yuan did not hesitate. He went to find Zhu Qingyu, the Golden-Winged Great Peng, and the others. He had already considered it carefully. This time, when he headed into the starry space, he would go alone.

He would not bring anyone, because no one knew what dangers awaited out there.

Although after reaching the Sage Realm, one could walk among the stars, if one wanted to safely cross starfields, one still needed strength at the Immortal Realm. Otherwise, if danger arose, things would become very troublesome.

Very soon, the various beast kings and the core members of the Celestial Court, represented by Zhu Qingyu and the others, all gathered. Even Elder Ji and Elder Yun, two elders who had already stepped back from active affairs, arrived as well.

This was Lu Yuan’s intention as this time was different from before. He was not merely going out for a period of time. He was leaving this starfield, so he had to prepare everyone mentally.

Of course, these were all high-level and core personnel. The ordinary Celestial Court members were not included. At most, it included beast kings like the Spirit Monkey.

They could all be considered the top strength and foundation of the Celestial Court, and now, almost all of them had appeared.

Once almost everyone had arrived, Lu Yuan did not waste words. He told everyone present that three days from now, he would leave together with several members of the Jiang Clan.

The duration was uncertain. It might be several years, or perhaps several decades. The universe was too vast, and the distance between starfields was too great.

Lu Yuan could not guarantee when he would return. Added to the fact that the opponents this time were the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, the more he could not set a certain date of return.

After everyone heard this news, they froze, then fell completely dumbfounded. They had originally thought that this would be like before, that Lu Yuan was only leaving temporarily.

However, it seemed that was not the case at all.

Several years, or even several decades...

For a moment, no one could react. Lu Yuan naturally knew what everyone present was thinking, so he spoke first.

”The current situation on Earth and in the Milky Way Starfield has temporarily stabilized. The final great enemy is the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons. Now that the Jiang Clan has discovered traces of them, I must go. Once I leave, Earth and the Celestial Court will be in your hands.”

He had never treated the people before him as subordinates even though the so-called conferring of titles had all been carried out by him.

He had done so much only to make the Celestial Court stronger. If there had been another way, Lu Yuan naturally would not have hesitated.

Now that he was about to leave, he had to explain some things. Some matters could not be led by him forever.

Opposite him, Elder Ji, Elder Yun, and the younger generation all temporarily fell silent. The beast kings represented by the Spirit Monkey and Golden-Winged Great Peng also did not know what to say either.

All this time, Lu Yuan had been their backbone. Be it the mutated beasts or the humans, all of them felt that as long as he was here, no matter what crisis they encountered, it would be resolved in the end.

But now, Lu Yuan was leaving.

This was hardly good news. It was equivalent to removing the source of their confidence.

No one, including the beast kings, knew what they should do if Lu Yuan left and another crisis appeared.

Could they resolve it relying only on their own strength?

The thoughts of these people were exactly as Lu Yuan had expected.

Every one of them was very strong and reliable enough. The problem was that right now, no one could truly stand on their own.

So when faced with his impending departure, all of them appeared extremely hesitant.

On one hand, they did not want Lu Yuan to leave. On the other hand, they also knew they could not influence Lu Yuan’s thoughts.

They all knew that once he made a decision, it could not be changed. This was what made everyone feel most uncomfortable.

Lu Yuan naturally understood this clearly. He stood up and looked at everyone present, then slowly spoke again. ”This is my decision.”

His meaning was clear. He was only informing everyone of his decision. No matter what they thought, he would leave.

More importantly, through everyone’s reaction, Lu Yuan had also completely seen that even without the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, he had to distance himself for a period of time.

He had to let the Celestial Court gain the ability to stand on its own. They could not rely on someone else for everything. If that were the case, then even if the future Celestial Court had many powerful experts, it would likely be impossible for it to grow into a mighty force that shook the universe.

So Lu Yuan became even more determined.

When everyone heard this, they also understood his resolve. They looked at one another.

Finally, Zhu Qingyu stepped forward, drew a deep breath, and said, ”After you leave, we will be the same as before. Please rest assured, King Lu!”
