Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

In the past, no matter what sort of existence Lu Yuan faced, even if the enemy was one realm higher, he could rely on his powerful reserves to steadily seize the advantage from the beginning.

But now, he had fallen into a disadvantage right away. This was the first time he had experienced it.

Regardless, Lu Yuan’s gaze remained the same. Instead, he looked at the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon before him and commented softly, ”Interesting.”

Formidable battle aura then surged from his form. Golden blood qi shook and poured out like magma.

In the next instant, he attacked again.

Originally, Lu Yuan had left Earth and entered the wider cosmos to search for opponents who could fight him in great battles.

Especially life-and-death battles. Only then could he reach the next realm faster.

Now, the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon he had encountered was beginning to meet the conditions in his heart. Of course, it remained to be seen whether the demon could actually force him to fight with all his strength.

When the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon saw the scene before him, he was surprised. He knew that his own power had a strong suppressive effect on the beings of this world.

Therefore, even when he was one realm lower, he could still gain the upper hand.

Yet Lu Yuan seemed to feel no fear. Instead, his battle intent had been stirred.

”Then let me see how far you can go,” the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon said before attacking instantly with black mist seething around him.

Then he collided with Lu Yuan.

Boom.

In the next instant, the earth trembled.

The volcanoes below erupted at once.

The power of the two was just too terrifying. Now that it leaked out without restraint, even the planet they were on found it difficult to endure.

Ninety-nine percent of the beings here had already been sacrificed, so the cosmic laws protecting the planet had also become much weaker.

The battlefield should move into space.

Seeing this, Lu Yuan made a decision. Some beings had been saved by him, but if the battle continued here, the entire planet would be destroyed.

If that happened, everything he had done earlier would likely be wasted. So he could not allow this planet to shatter completely.

With that in mind, he faced the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon before him.

He circulated the blood qi within his body, found the right moment, and blasted out a punch.

Boom.

The Extracosmic Heavenly Demon immediately blocked it.

But that power was too strong.

In a single instant, the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon was struck and sent flying into space.

”Wait here.” Lu Yuan left Jiang Ningxian and the others with these words, then flashed and appeared in space as well. Without giving the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon any time to recover, he fully manifested his own might.

The Extracosmic Heavenly Demon was also completely enraged, the mist around him growing denser and denser.

The two began a great battle without any flashy movements. There was only a clash of full strength.

Boom, boom, boom.

Their fists collided. Every punch they threw made the surrounding stars tremble, flickering between brightening and fading.

Some smaller meteorites could not withstand it at all and shattered like fireworks.

Lu Yuan raised his hand and seized an entire star, smashing it down at his opponent.

The Extracosmic Heavenly Demon refused to show weakness. Black mist seethed around him, as if it wanted to devour the entire universe.

The black mist then enveloped the entire star, swallowed it, and shattered it.

In a short time, more than a hundred stars were destroyed in this battle.

This was a battle at the higher Immortal Realm. If there were enough blows exchanged, the battle could even destroy a small galaxy.

Fortunately, those planets had no life, so Lu Yuan could act without restraint.

The golden blood qi around him grew denser as the battle went on, covering the surrounding starfield in a golden ocean.

It confronted and resisted the black mist. Watching the battle from below, Jiang Ningxian and the others were stunned. They estimated that if they entered the battlefield, they would probably be stuck in a gigantic rut immediately.

This battle had already surpassed what Grotto-Heaven Immortals could achieve. Even Creation Immortals might not be enough to withstand it.

”Is this power already approaching the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm?” Jiang Haokong muttered, feeling that the gap between himself and Lu Yuan was indeed growing larger and larger.

He was also shocked by the strength of the Extracosmic Heavenly Demon. The first one they encountered was already this powerful, and close to a Celestial Seat Immortal?

Then what if they descended in force?

Jiang Haokong seemed to understand a little.

No wonder some Human Sovereigns and Celestial Emperors and the ancient sages had treated the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons with such gravity, even with the mindset of certain death. These existences were truly too powerful.

Rumble.

In space, after another collision between the two sides, countless bolts of lightning shook, and void rifts appeared in succession.

As the battle continued, Lu Yuan’s battle intent grew stronger and stronger.

He did not use the power of Providence. He relied purely on his own strength.

Although that power of Providence had the effect of suppressing the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, doing so would go against the original purpose of this trip.

Fighting with all his strength was the true path. Only in such a battle could he comprehend a higher level.

The Extracosmic Heavenly Demon was no longer as calm and composed as before. The black mist around him had dimmed considerably, and his power had begun to weaken.

He was taken aback by Lu Yuan’s strength.

”How can this be? The first opponent I meet in the Xuanhuang Cosmos is this powerful?”

That was right. His thoughts were similar to Jiang Haokong’s. To his race, the Xuanhuang Cosmos was considered troublesome among the many universes and worlds, and it did have some unshakable existences. But most of its beings were relatively much weaker and could be dealt with easily.

Yet now, the first person he had encountered was this terrifying.

After all, he had estimated his current strength. By his own estimate, he was already close to the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm.

He was already at the uppermost level of the Xuanhuang Cosmos. But now, he could not take down a single person.

More importantly, he had fallen into a disadvantage. How was that possible?

Immediately, he once again stimulated the power within him.

It was a unique power belonging to another world. He wanted to completely devour the golden blood qi before him and then contaminate Lu Yuan.

In an instant, countless streams of black mist surged. Unlike before, this black mist seemed alive.

Any star it touched instantly turned into a deathly black, and seemed to be undergoing some kind of transformation.

Even Lu Yuan sensed that the power within him had actually been suppressed under the influence of that black mist.

An oppressive, violent thought erupted. It made him want to destroy everything he saw.

Buzz, buzz, buzz.

But then in his mind, the Bodhi Tree lit up, and the Innate Spirit opened its eyes.

A cool aura swept through Lu Yuan’s entire body, allowing him to break free from that state.

Intense battle intent erupted in his eyes.
