Super Gene Hunting Ground

Yang Xiao searched several locations’ Genetic Stores but couldn’t find Gu Bo.

Yang Xiao also inquired with the rulers of places like Tianzhou but still couldn’t find any information on Gu Bo.

”What the hell, where did that old man go? Could it be that he’s already returned to Witch Star? Yet Gu Bo hasn’t been looking for me on Witch Star either?”

Yang Xiao really wanted to find Gu Bo to understand some things about Witch Star.

From Yang Xiao’s perspective, Gu Bo helping him must have some unknown motives.

Yang Xiao employed many people worldwide to search for Gu Bo, but ultimately had to give up.

...

Yang Xiao knew his time on Earth was limited, and besides necessary activities, he spent all other time accompanying Huang Wen, Lan Xin, Qin Yu, and Deng Xiao in Nanmu City.

Qin Yu’s son was already four years old, named Yang Qin. He was robust and cute. Although he was initially a bit unfamiliar with Yang Xiao, after mingling for half a day, he became very close to Yang Xiao, sticking to him all day.

Even if Yang Xiao had to go out for errands, he would take his son Yang Qin, and they delighted in each other’s company.

.....

Lan Xin’s apprentice Xiao Lan asked Yang Xiao:

”Boss, is our Gong Yu doing okay?”

Yang Xiao smiled slightly and said:

”Gong Yu is doing well. He’s now my trusted assistant on Purple Source Star, too busy to leave, so I didn’t let him return. As for Gu Beifeng, Du Tianxing, and others, they all have important tasks and couldn’t come back. Therefore, I only brought Long Yongjun and the other three back.

Xiao Lan, don’t worry. Next time I’ll bring him back so your family can reunite.”

Xiao Lan said cheerfully:

”Great, boss, don’t forget. Also, before you leave, help me bring some things to Gong Yu.”

Yang Xiao nodded, feeling a pang of sorrow inside.

Yang Xiao always considered Gong Yu like a brother, and Gong Yu’s death deeply saddened him.

Yang Xiao had privately told Lan Xin about Gong Yu’s death, and once he left Earth, Lan Xin would inform Xiao Lan since he couldn’t face the grieving Xiao Lan and her child.

Gong Yu’s son was the same age as Yang Xiao’s son, and the two were now very good playmates.

...

Following the request of Black Jinkang and Golden Lion King, Yang Xiao returned the two Demon Beasts to their homeland, Tianzhou Forest.

To Yang Xiao, that was their real home.

With their current Empire Level Realm, Black Jinkang and Golden Lion King could certainly become the rulers of Tianzhou Forest without any threat to their safety from other Demon Beasts.

Both Black Jinkang and Golden Lion King were reluctant to part with Yang Xiao.

Tears streaming, Black Jinkang said,

”Boss, I can’t bear to leave you.”

Golden Lion King was also choking:

”Boss, maybe it’s better if we stay with you.”

Yang Xiao patted them, comforting them:

”No event lasts forever. I do like having you around, but keeping you with me is ultimately selfish. The jungle is your true home; there you can find your kind, maybe even your family and friends. You can also build your own family and kingdom.”

The gorilla nodded.

”Boss, you must come visit us in the future!”

”Don’t worry, I’ll come to see you when I return to Earth. If I stay on Earth, I’ll visit often, and you can come find me. The organizers of Tianzhou Continent know you.”

With a reluctant farewell to Yang Xiao, Black Jinkang and Golden Lion King returned to Tianzhou Forest.

...

Yang Xiao stayed on Earth for three months and decided to return to Purple Source Star.

Before Yang Xiao left, Huang Wen, Lan Xin, Qin Yu, and Deng Xiao were all pregnant, which delighted him.

Thinking about this farewell, uncertain when he would return, Yang Xiao hesitated to leave and extended his stay on Earth for another month to accompany Lan Xin and others.

...

Before departing, Yang Xiao found Long Xiang.

”Xiang’er, I’ve found information about your father and brother on Witch Star; they are alive.”

”What? They’re alive, that’s wonderful!

How are they? Where are they now?”

Long Xiang asked nervously and anxiously, tears streaming.

Yang Xiao consoled her:

”They are fine for now, detained at the Great Dragon Empire Genetic Research Institute on Witch Star. I haven’t yet found a way to rescue them.

But don’t worry, they need your father and brother for Genetic Evolution research, so their lives are unharmed.”

”But, Brother Yang Xiao, can we rescue them?”

”I’m working on a plan. In a few days, I must return to Purple Source Star. If you wish, you can come with me, so you can see your father immediately.

Otherwise, you can choose to stay on Earth, and the decision is yours.”

Long Xiang listened and decisively said:

”Brother Yang Xiao, I’ll go with you. I want to rescue my father and brother.”

Yang Xiao nodded and said:

”Xiang’er, you can come with me, but once on Witch Star, you must follow my arrangements.

Those hooded men you saw on Earth you think are powerful, but on Witch Star, many are stronger than them. Even a slight mistake could get you killed, understand?”

Long Xiang, biting her lip with tears, said,

”Brother Yang Xiao, I’ll do as you say and won’t cause trouble.”

”Good girl!”

Yang Xiao gently stroked Long Xiang’s head.

...

Two days later, Yang Xiao prepared to set off for Purple Source Star.

Everyone came to see him off.

Some fifty global rulers came over bringing numerous items and letters for Yang Xiao, all greetings from the family and friends of more than five hundred people stationed on Purple Source Star.

Huang Wen and others looked at Yang Xiao, tears flowing.

Yang Xiao hugged each of them, wiping away their tears.

”Don’t cry, once I finish the major tasks on Witch Star, I’ll turn back to Earth to be with you forever,

Our Earth remains dangerous, always vulnerable to a destructive attack by people from Witch Star, much like when I bombed Aotian City. If I don’t return to Witch Star, I can’t truly save our homeland.”

”Long Yongjun, you’re with Zhou Qiang and Zhao Benling, all three of you must unite and guard our Xuanming Country, as well as watch over the whole Earth, never fight among yourselves,

With the ten warships I’ve left you, you’ll be able to fend off ordinary alien ships.”

Long Yongjun and the other two immediately said:

”Boss, rest assured, take care along the way!”

”Take care!”

Yang Xiao finally kissed his son Yang Qin, gently put him down, turned his heart, grasped Long Xiang’s hand, and soared to the Interstellar Transport Ship in mid-air.

”Dad, Dad....”

His son Yang Qin shouted desperately from the ground.

The spaceship door closed.

With a roar, the massive spacecraft ascended into the sky, gradually vanishing.

Huang Wen and others sighed, wiped away tears, and dispersed.
