Chapter 1387: Chapter 470: Deputy Grandmaster Level

Ferdinand City, the garden outside a warehouse in the Imperial Palace.

Rein was demonstrating his mastery of skin making skills to Elder Nasha, while Anna watched Rein’s adept movements with great interest.

It was Anna’s first time realizing that Rein could actually make leather armor.

In the area, soon, Rein crafted a Fishman Scale Chest Armor and a Thick Leather Chest Armor, respectively.

Elder Nasha picked up the Fishman Scale Chest Armor and looked at it carefully, nodding approvingly, saying: ”Lord Rein, I think I know your level in leather armor crafting.”

”First of all, regarding your crafting of specific leather armor components, such as chest armor, your craftsmanship has reached Master Level. Even I wouldn’t be much better.”

”It’s impeccable.”

Hearing her teacher’s words, Anna’s beautiful eyes widened, gazing at Rein in astonishment.

As if meeting Rein for the first time.

And Elder Nasha continued:

”However, your shortcoming is also very obvious, which is that you have almost completely lacked contact with crafting leather armor for other parts.”

Regarding Elder Nasha’s frank evaluation, Rein nodded with no disagreement.

At the time, he was aiming for speed.

To harvest Skill Points as quickly as possible, he specifically chose the complex and challenging chest armor for crafting.

Hence, leather armor crafting for other parts, such as boots, leg armor, etc., he had never learned or mastered.

”I think the first step should be to master the crafting of protective leather armor for all body parts. After that, I will teach you the elves’ skinning skills, what do you think?” Nasha smiled.

The proficiency Rein displayed in skinning made her realize that what he said before was not false; he genuinely wanted to learn skinning.

”Of course, in this aspect, Elder Nasha, you are the master, and I will follow your arrangements.” Rein had no objection, smiling and nodding.

”Then why don’t you try crafting leather boots first? Here is a pattern of our clan’s commonly worn ’Engraved Leather Boots,’ you can take a look and try to craft them, and if there are any issues, we can communicate further.”

Elder Nasha was very polite throughout the conversation.

Due to Rein’s contribution to the Elf Clan, not only her, but almost all pure-blood elves would bow in greeting when they saw Rein.

Moreover, Rein was an Epic Strongman.

With these combined, even Elder Nasha, who was also an Epic Strongman, treated Rein with much respect, without any negligence due to his age.

”Alright, Elder Nasha.”

Rein took the sheepskin scroll, opened it, and carefully reviewed it.

At this moment, he also understood the future advancement route in skinning.

As it seems, to learn elf skinning properly, he still needed to solidify his foundation.

In other words, he needed to advance from Skin Tanning to Skinning Master, reaching Old Henry’s level before proceeding to the next learning step.

Of course, this was not very difficult for him.

It simply involved continuously learning and crafting previously unmade leather armor components, supported by the system, and Rein wouldn’t need to spend too much time to achieve this.

Indeed...

Over an hour later, Rein successfully crafted a pair of Engraved Leather Boots.

...

Over three hours later, he learned how to craft Engraved Bracelets.

....

This learning efficiency left Elder Nasha and Anna momentarily silent...

And Anna finally understood.

Why, though she was a talented genius in the Druids’ path within the Elf Clan, was she left far behind by Rein in terms of strength growth?

It turned out it wasn’t her problem, but Rein was just too extraordinary!

Meanwhile, Elder Nasha accepted it relatively easily.

After all, if Rein didn’t have something special, how could he have reached the Fourth Level Dawn Wizard at such a young age?

He must have something exceptional.

...

Half a day later.

As Rein finished crafting a pair of Engraved Leather Gloves, the system prompt sounded:

[Detected that the host has met the conditions for advancing to Skinning Master: First, Skin Tanning lv5 above; Second, Agility 7 points above, Strength 8 points above, Constitution 6 points above; Third, mastered the crafting skills of leather armor for different body parts. All current conditions met, advance to Skinning Master?]

[Note: After advancing to Skinning Master, the new profession panel for Skinning Master will cover the original Skin Tanning panel.]

Regarding whether to change professions, of course, it required no consideration, and Rein decisively chose ”Yes!”

[Ding! Advancement successful!]

[Successfully advanced to Skinning Master! Strength +1, Agility +2! Obtained Skinning Master Core Skills: Leather Armor Making lv1]

[Leather Armor Making lv1 (passive): Due to your frequent leather armor crafting, related success rate increases.]

With previous experience in advancing multiple life professions, Rein was not surprised by the crafting-biased core skills and the rare attribute points reward from the advancement.

At the same time.

The original Skin Tanning panel disappeared and was replaced with the Skinning Master panel.

Of course, both were basic panels.

Under the panel, there was a brand new icon.

The icon featured a diagram of a set of leather armor top, very simple.

Under the icon was a line of small text:

[Core Skill: Leather Armor Making lv1 (Passive)]
