The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Inside a large private room at Fauna Kitchen.

The Yandor Sect is having a gathering.

Vincent Moore and Zed Moore, as Amadeus Yancey’s right-hand men, are always especially popular in such gatherings, with people continuously approaching them to toast.

In the past, Vincent Moore, blessed with a good alcohol tolerance, always drank heartily and basically never refused anyone.

Today, however, he’s quite the opposite, only drinking a few small cups and refusing to drink more.

Zed Moore is even more of a people person, with quick silver tongue, managing to smile and talk his way out of drinking even if others down theirs in one gulp.

Vincent and Zed drank little today, but it didn’t affect the lively atmosphere in the room.

The Yandor Sect rarely gathers, and everyone’s spirits are high.

Among them, pretty women are even more of a scarce resource in this kind of occasion. A beautiful woman sitting on the sofa is surrounded by quite a few men.

She looks quite good, mainly with a hot figure and a mature woman’s charm.

Every gesture and movement carries allure, and her slightly amorous peach blossom eyes give people the illusion that she’s interested in everyone.

Lianna Young breaks free from the circle of annoying men around her, picks up a goblet, and sways over to Vincent Moore, her hand climbing onto the man’s solid chest, smiling flirtatiously: ”Vincent, why didn’t Amadeus come today? Weren’t you all saying he would?”

”Speak properly.” Vincent Moore pulls away her hand that’s clinging to his chest, frowning, clearly unimpressed by her act.

Lianna Young clicked her tongue, nonchalantly letting go, pulling a chair from the side and sitting down stubbornly, then raising the goblet she brought to toast Zed Moore, boldly downing it in one go: ”Zed, I’ve finished mine. You can do as you please.”

When she drinks, she seems more genuine, lacking the sticky sweetness she has while speaking.

Zed Moore presses his temples, smiling wryly: ”I said I wouldn’t drink today. But having a beautiful woman toasting me, how can I not?”

”I’ve finished mine, too.” He picks up his goblet in front and finishes it, showing the woman his empty cup.

Unable to stand their boring interaction, Vincent Moore prepares to go out for some air: ”I’m going out to have a cigarette.”

Lianna Young suddenly stops him: ”I heard Amadeus has a girlfriend now?”

Vincent Moore suddenly halts, turns back, his gaze becoming fierce: ”Why are you asking about this? These things have nothing to do with you, so stop prying!”

The Yandor Sect members generally get along well with each other, like brother and sister.

Lianna Young is one of the few women in the Yandor Sect, and people usually accommodate her. Vincent Moore doesn’t like her seductive ways, but rarely disrespects her, let alone in this almost confrontational situation which Lianna is encountering for the first time.

She was taken aback for a moment, instinctively frowned: ”I was just curious...”

But she hadn’t even finished speaking when Vincent Moore, extremely agitated, raised his hand to cut her off: ”This isn’t something you should be curious about! Just mind yourself and stop thinking about things that don’t belong to you.”

Lianna Young, having her heart’s secret exposed, flushed with embarrassment, and slammed the table in almost confrontation: ”What do you mean by that? Did I say anything? Can’t I just casually ask a couple of questions?”

”I don’t feel like arguing with you.” Vincent Moore doesn’t want to quarrel with a woman, keeping a straight face, leaving the room for a cigarette without looking back.

Lianna Young, seeing his attitude, becomes even more furious, her chest heaving in frustration: ”What attitude is that!”
