The Unveiling of Secret Queen

His voice was weak, lacking confidence: ”...We’ve already assigned more people to look for her, but we haven’t found her yet.”

Amadeus Yancey felt alright getting off the airplane, but now his eyes held a restrained expression, and there was no hint of a smile in his pupils: ”She escaped? And still haven’t caught her by now? Ha, your efficiency is impressive. You managed to lose track of a perfectly good person.”

”Mr. Yancey, I am sorry.” Simon Cadwell was so frightened that cold sweat broke out on his back.

Amadeus Yancey glanced ahead to see Nathalie Quinlan and Sadam Vinson waiting for him. He suppressed his annoyance, making a phone call while walking forward: ”I didn’t take your call just to hear you say sorry.”

”...I’m sorry.”

Amadeus Yancey’s brow twitched, and seeing the people waiting not far away, he pressed his thin lips together and said, ”Check the surveillance.”

”Get all the surveillance footage from the intersections near the hospital; if you can’t find her at the intersections, look at the surveillance cameras in nearby stores.”

”She couldn’t just disappear into thin air after escaping from the hospital; we should be able to find which direction she ran.”

Simon Cadwell’s ability to handle tasks was alright.

Hearing this, he immediately said, ”Alright, I’ll arrange for someone to check the surveillance right away.”

Before Amadeus Yancey hung up, he stopped him: ”Wait a moment.”

Simon Cadwell immediately responded, ”Mr. Yancey, what’s the matter?”

Amadeus Yancey pressed his tightly furrowed brow, his eyes deep: ”Keep a close watch on Celine Tucker.”

”...Understood.”

The first moment Caryn Zachmann escaped, they asked Celine Tucker, who seemed unaware and probably didn’t expect her daughter would run.

”Also, find a few people to watch over Leonardy Zachmann and his family.” Amadeus Yancey’s voice was calm, but his eyes were filled with lethal intent: ”She can’t endure hardships, so after escaping, she’ll surely try to find someone to help her. The people she can turn to are just a few, so get someone to keep an eye on them.”

Simon Cadwell immediately understood his implication, responding steadily: ”Mr. Yancey, I understand. I’ll set up surveillance immediately.”

Amadeus Yancey hung up the phone with him.

He arrived just as Nathalie Quinlan and Sadam Vinson came into view.

Sadam Vinson noticed he had been on the phone all the way and asked, ”Amadeus, who were you talking to that made your face so serious?”

Alfred Garland had overheard some parts but didn’t dare to chime in. He quietly glanced at the man and then silently retracted his gaze, observing silently without speaking.

Nathalie Quinlan was also looking at him.

Amadeus Yancey casually took the girl’s bag, holding it in his hand, and said nonchalantly, ”No one, let’s talk about it after we get back.”

”Oh.” Sadam Vinson, seeing that he wasn’t willing to say, didn’t press further, pulling the luggage and calling the driver to come and help with the luggage.

The group moved toward the exit of the terminal.

Nathalie Quinlan walked alongside him for a while, then suddenly glanced in his direction, pressed her lips together, and asked in a low voice, ”Your face didn’t look good just now, did something happen?”

”Yeah.” Amadeus Yancey didn’t tell Sadam Vinson but didn’t hide it from her: ”We encountered a little problem.”

”?” Nathalie Quinlan glanced at him, slowly asking, ”What kind of problem?”

Amadeus Yancey noticed her standout and eye-catching presence, even more so at the Capital Airport than at Inderia Airport, and held her hand, looking straight ahead: ”I will tell you when we get back.”

Nathalie Quinlan was distracted by him holding her hand. Her brows lowered slightly, showing a hint of curiosity in her dark eyes but didn’t pursue further: ”Alright.”

The two of them walked out of the terminal together.

The driver placed the suitcases for Sadam Vinson and Alfred Garland properly, and the group got into the car, preparing to head to Rhine first.
