The Unveiling of Secret Queen

The girl, however, nonchalantly put the phone back in her pocket, inserted one hand into it, turned around and continued walking towards 3303, saying to him, ”Let’s go, let’s find Williansen Barness.”

*

In the standard room 3303.

The handsome man sat on the chair, covering his head with both hands, motionless like a wooden sculpture, looking extremely pained.

Even when the sound of the door opening came, he did not react, did not even lift his head, and only said hoarsely, ”You don’t have to say anymore, I won’t help you.”

”You can give up!”

Wincent Sullivan had just walked in, paused at the words, and quickly realized Williansen Barness assumed they were Willy Kingsley’s group. He immediately shouted, ”Williansen, it’s me, Wincent Sullivan.”

The man sitting in the chair with his head buried suddenly lifted it. His once calm eyes were now bloodshot, and when he saw them, he was first incredulous, then quickly responded, furrowing his brow: ”Wincent, Nathalie Quinlan, how did you find this place?”

Once he realized, he seemed to recall something, and his face instantly turned worried and tense: ”You better leave quickly, don’t stay here.”

Nathalie Quinlan walked in nonchalantly, seeing his tense reaction, knowing what he was worrying about. She sat on the bed, and the light in the room reflected in her eyes: ”The people from the Kingsleys Family have already left, they won’t come looking for you again.”

Williansen Barness instantly slumped back, his expression somewhat dazed. Although he didn’t know what had happened, Nathalie’s words still eased the tense string in his heart instantly.

Then he remembered: ”My mother, my mother is still in their hands.”

Wincent Sullivan hadn’t had time to ask.

Nathalie Quinlan adjusted her duckbill cap, nodded, with no extra expression on her face, took out her phone, and immediately asked him: ”Where is your mother being held? Also at the Intercontinental Hotel?”

Williansen Barness shook his head, his dark eyes looking at her: ”I don’t know. I only know that they told me my mother was taken away by my... biological father. I’m not sure where exactly.”

”They sought me out because they heard I got into the level 8 laboratory, and they wanted me to steal and give them the experimental project and data of the level 8 laboratory. Also...”

Williansen Barness found it hard to speak, looking at the girl: ”Also to keep an eye on you for them at any time.”

However, he quickly explained eagerly: ”I didn’t agree, so they locked me here, not letting me leave.”

Williansen Barness had his principles; he would never steal level 8 laboratory’s project data for Willy Kingsley’s group.

Of course, he wasn’t willing to betray his friends either.

Willy Kingsley’s group keeping him here wasn’t much, but threatening him with his biological mother’s safety was something Williansen found hard to bear with anger.

This day and night were too long, so long that he deeply felt a sense of helplessness.

To put it bluntly, he just wasn’t strong enough.

If he were strong enough, he wouldn’t be coerced.

”I understand.” Nathalie Quinlan roughly guessed what Willy Kingsley wanted to do; what Williansen said matched her previous suspicions almost perfectly.

”Wait for me a moment.”

Without wasting words, she took a laptop out of her bag, placed it on her lap, quickly booted it up, and asked Williansen if his mother was carrying a phone and what her phone number was.

Fortunately, Willy Kingsley didn’t take the mother and son seriously, thinking they could easily be manipulated.

Midway, he even had Williansen’s mother call him, using this to threaten him to ’behave.’

Nathalie Quinlan deftly opened a positioning system, then entered phone location tracking and started searching for the location.

Williansen Barness watched in amazement.

Wincent Sullivan had seen it once earlier in the morning, and this time he appeared extremely calm, going over to comfort Williansen and telling him not to worry.
