The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Every time she would get annoyed, or feel dry and unsure how to explain something, she liked to pull on her hat.

Amadeus Yancey noticed this too. He stopped speaking midway and suddenly didn’t want to know anymore, smiling, ”It’s nothing, I just suddenly remembered, wanted to ask you about it. You...”

He originally wanted to say that she had been tired all day and asked if she wanted to go up, take a shower, and rest early.

Nathalie Quinlan suddenly looked up, her dark, beautiful eyes staring at him, with a hoarse voice directly replying, ”You can ask, I don’t have anything I can’t tell you. It’s just sometimes I don’t realize that I need to tell you about these things in advance.”

Like her business dealings in the Illegal Zone.

She didn’t think selling diamonds was any different than the cooperation between her and Silvania Ingram’s Pinecone Group in Beijing. In Nathalie’s eyes, it was all business.

It’s just that the business locations were different.

One domestic, the other in the Illegal Zone, that’s all.

”I still have quite a few of those diamonds, it’s just that I don’t usually use them much. If you like, I can give you a few.”

The pigeon egg-sized pink diamond that Sadam Vinson gave her before was still on the table, with a single piece worth over a billion.

Even in the wealthy Inderia, it would be enough to make a splash.

However, Nathalie didn’t seem to care much about these things. She slightly tilted her head back, looking at him, her expression somewhat indifferent, asking: ”What color do you like?”

Amadeus originally wanted to talk to her, actually to ask if she was the diamond boss because he had been investigating this diamond merchant in the Illegal Zone for a long time.

But he had never been able to find out the other party’s identity background.

He had previously vaguely suspected that the diamond merchant in the Illegal Zone might be Nathalie, and until this moment, he could be completely sure that the diamond boss in the Illegal Zone was the person in front of him.

Amadeus’s heart felt like a pebble had been thrown in, suddenly causing ripples, that kind of coincidental yet not coincidental clever fate, like a drumbeat pounding on his heart’s door, fast and intense.

Suddenly, he didn’t want to ask anything anymore, just slightly curled his lips, his gaze burning as he looked at her: ”White.”

”White?” Nathalie was stunned for a moment, thought for a moment, then lifted her head to look at him: ”You...”

Amadeus just smiled, quite roguishly: ”I like the kind of diamond you put on my finger, any color doesn’t matter.”

Nathalie was at a loss for words.

This damn... She hadn’t prepared for this at all!

Amadeus was just saying it, then turned to ask her: ”Today you completely broke off with the Kingsleys Family, really not planning to go back in the future?”

Talking about the Kingsleys Family and some of its members made Nathalie’s eyes darken, suppressing the rebelliousness in her eyes, taking a deep breath, she picked up the pigeon egg-sized pink diamond and played with it in her hand, expressionless: ”Didn’t you ask me this question before? I haven’t changed my mind, still thinking the same as before.”

She had previously told Amadeus that she had never planned to go back to the Kingsleys Family, recognizing her ancestry was just the Kingsleys Family’s wishful thinking.

She never thought of climbing up on anyone’s shoulder. If she wanted to go up, she could walk up herself, without needing anyone else’s help!

Nathalie only briefly got annoyed with the Kingsleys Family for a while, but in no time, she threw the Kingsleys Family and Hansel Kingsley to the back of her mind.

Then she remembered another matter, and took out her phone: ”By the way, that money from the underground auction...”

She was referring to the ten billion that Amadeus helped pay for her.

”There’s no need.” Amadeus, wearing a long trench coat, which enhanced his tall figure, walked up to the girl, blocking her phone from transferring the money, then chuckled, and as he looked down, his Adam’s apple bobbed, his voice charming and deep: ”What a coincidence. I have a little bit of money too!”
