The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1948: Chapter 1948: Trash Is Still Trash, Even After Turning Things Around

The 10th group has always been last in the group assessments, even Wincent Sullivan was almost resigned to fate, and Agnes Baker had long given up.

Among the three, only Williansen Barness still held a sliver of hope for the December assessment.

But even he didn’t dare to dream of achieving a good rank; at most, he just hoped they wouldn’t be the last again in December...

Now that Nathalie Quinlan’s plan had been proposed, as long as they could use experiments to prove the feasibility of this theory, their December group assessment might just get them out of their current predicament. Not to mention achieving a top rank, but at least they wouldn’t be at the bottom anymore.

The three of them had an overwhelming sense of excitement.

They almost immediately went their separate ways to start the preparatory work for the experiments.

Nathalie was left alone in the small laboratory. Wincent Sullivan pulled up some beginner experiment videos for her to watch first, then went to apply for 24-hour laboratory access for the next half month.

After they all left, Nathalie was alone in the lab, roughly exploring the various large and small equipment inside.

Then she replied to the message from Amadeus Yancey, who asked if she was going back for dinner.

In the following half month, members of the 10th group were practically camping out in the intermediate laboratory that Wincent Sullivan secured for them.

The sudden eagerness of the ’Group of Death’ piqued the curiosity of many rookies at the research institute.

And with the December group assessment approaching, it became a frequent topic of conversation during meal breaks, often turned into a laughing matter.

Friday.

With less than three days left until the December group assessment.

On this day, the 1st group, where Zevaney Kingsley was, had already completed all their experiment work and obtained the results they wanted.

They had just walked out of the laboratory.

As they stepped out, they saw Agnes Baker and Nathalie Quinlan carrying a guide tube for experiments, hurrying towards the lab.

Zevaney Kingsley narrowed her eyes, slightly raising her chin, and asked someone next to her, ”What are they up to?”

Zevaney had been busy for the past half month as well.

Since the last time she dined at Ocean Pavilion, it had been half a month since she last saw Nathalie.

Although she vaguely felt that their being chased out by the manager of Ocean Pavilion that day was related to Nathalie, she herself had been to Beijing and knew very well that Nathalie had spent most of her life in Zenla. Let alone coming to Inderia, she hadn’t even stayed long in Beijing.

Zevaney strongly believed that Nathalie didn’t have the connections to know the manager of Ocean Pavilion.

So she thought that the esteemed guest mentioned by the manager of Ocean Pavilion wasn’t referring to Nathalie, and it was just a coincidence that Nathalie was there.

As Zevaney thought of this, she frowned and looked back towards the end of the corridor.

At the end of the corridor, Nathalie and Agnes’s figures had already disappeared, probably having entered a laboratory.

Zevaney withdrew her gaze, not paying much attention to it.

”Them, ah, ha, it’s funny. I heard that the people from the 10th group are working extra hard this time. It seems they want to stage a comeback in the December group assessment.”

A member of Zevaney’s group slightly smiled and said in a somewhat sarcastic tone, ”No matter how hard they try, trash is still trash, and even if trash flips over, it’s still trash. Oh, there’s something different this time. Before, their group had three pieces of trash, now there’s one more, making it four pieces of trash.”

Her sharp and biting words elicited unrestrained laughter from the group.

But it wasn’t Zevaney’s group they were laughing at; they were mocking the undaunted ’trash’ members of the other group.
