The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1935: Chapter 1935: The December Group Assessment Is Very Important

Wincent Sullivan took advantage of meal time to talk to the girl about the situation at the research institute.

And some situations within the group.

”The First Research Institute is divided into 8 laboratories, your level is 3, Agnes Baker and I are level 4, while Williansen Barness was assigned to level 5. We rookies generally help each other out, forming small groups to conduct experimental project research. These experimental projects are mostly given by the graded laboratories...”

Wincent Sullivan smiled, hiding the loss in his eyes, elegantly introducing to the girl: ”But none of the three of us have got a project from our own graded laboratories, so their group currently doesn’t have any experimental projects to work on.”

Nathalie Quinlan indeed did not know that experimental projects required allocation from graded laboratories to be conducted.

She nodded, paying attention to restraining the rebelliousness over herself, trying to blend into the group.

Seeing she was listening intently, Wincent Sullivan continued: ”Apart from experimental projects, The First Research Institute also has a monthly group assessment, which is actually related to the experimental projects. It’s a check on each group’s monthly achievements. Without projects assigned by the laboratories, relying only on individual achievements makes it hard to compare with other groups. That’s why our group has always been at the bottom of the monthly assessments.”

Sullivan looked at her with some guilt: ”Sorry for dragging you down.”

Agnes Baker was burying her head in eating, hearing this, she put down her chopsticks and smiled, her delicate oval face showing a carefree demeanor as she looked at Nathalie Quinlan sincerely, ”That’s how The First Research Institute is, it looks glamorous from the outside, but inside it’s all about forming cliques and taking sides. I’m fine being in last place, we’re not from the Great Families anyway, it’s hard to get the top spot. Since we can’t be number one, being last isn’t bad either.”

She thought for a moment and then said to Nathalie Quinlan: ”The group assessments from January to November have passed, all won by Group 1. The December assessment is coming up, I reckon it will be Zevaney Kingsley’s group taking first place again. When she gets the top spot, she will have the chance to use the level 8 laboratory next year, then she’ll show off again!”

”Agnes,” Wincent Sullivan called to her, furrowing his brow as he reminded her, ”Try saying less.”

Agnes Baker glanced at him, shrugged her shoulders with a careless attitude: ”I’m just upset with her, I said it because I said it. Anyway, I’m not foolish enough to talk about it outside, just among us.”

The bright apricot eyes showed some disdain as she looked at Nathalie Quinlan, continuing, ”That Zevaney Kingsley is quite the figure at The First Research Institute, backed by a strong family, takes the top resources, finds the best tutors, and when she makes achievements, she boasts it’s all due to her talent. Sigh, what talent does she have! In my view, she’s just like that, not as impressive as the outside says. If she were truly talented, she wouldn’t have taken five years to independently complete a level 1 experiment; Williansen Barness could have broken level 1 long ago, yet still hasn’t had the chance to take the grading test.”

”Williansen Barness is the most capable among the three of us. His current skills are similar to Zevaney Kingsley’s. Just that Zevaney Kingsley is valued by The First Research Institute, while Williansen Barness is not,” Wincent Sullivan explained to Nathalie Quinlan, finishing and then falling silent.

Nathalie Quinlan roughly understood the group assessment matter, softly uttered a ’Mm’, lifted her head, revealing an exquisite and striking face under the duckbill cap, unable to suppress the youthful arrogance between her brows: ”Is the December group assessment important?”
