The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1907: Chapter 1907: Such a Sky-Defying Score and Yet Still Outdone

She thought Therry Kingsley was a sure win this time.

Who knew, upon a second glance.

First row, first place, the name boldly written — NO.1, Nathalie Quinlan!

The column for the first-place grade was still blank, not revealed at all.

Zevaney Kingsley restrained her shock, forcing herself to look down, and on the second row, the second place had Therry Kingsley’s name, and the grade column wasn’t blank, rather filled with the level of experiments conducted and completion percentage as usual.

”Second place did a level 5 experiment, 78% completion? Jeez, what level and completion must the first place have?”

”Level 5 experiment took second place? Is this year so competitive?”

”Why is the grade column for first place blank?”

”Has there been such a case before?”

Someone replied, ”Never heard of it, grades are always announced at once, never heard of suppressing grades like this.”

”Why did the research institute break the rule this time? What’s going on?”

The lounge was filled with noisy discussions, most of which focused on Nathalie Quinlan and Therry Kingsley.

Therry Kingsley’s grade is indisputable, a level 5 experiment with a 78% completion is already formidable.

But such formidable results were overshadowed by someone else.

Everyone was even more curious about how incredible the blank first-place grade must be to make The First Research Institute choose not to disclose it.

”Nathalie Quinlan, she took the first place?” Willy Kingsley couldn’t believe his eyes, his face full of shock, staring at the scrolling screen: ”What’s going on with her? Could there be a mistake?”

James Lawrence didn’t expect Nathalie Quinlan’s name to securely rank first, something he never dared dream of.

James Lawrence turned his head to speak with Zevaney Kingsley: ”Ms. Kingsley, why wasn’t the first-place grade announced? Do you know what’s going on?”

Zevaney Kingsley opened her mouth, but her throat couldn’t produce sound.

Therry Kingsley hadn’t come out yet, how could she know what was happening inside!

Zevaney Kingsley took a deep breath, her face serious, and said to the two, ”I’ll make a phone call to inquire.”

James Lawrence and Willy Kingsley had no objections, they also wanted to know Nathalie Quinlan’s final grade.

Zevaney Kingsley grabbed her phone and walked off to make a phone call.

She herself was part of The First Research Institute, and though these people outside had no way to inquire about internal information, she had her own connections and means.

In no time, Zevaney Kingsley found out about the first-place grade in this year’s second round.

”What?!”

The lounge was crowded with people, and everyone was still discussing the results this time.

Zevaney Kingsley suddenly shouted out loud, drawing everyone’s attention to her.

Zevaney Kingsley was somewhat well-known in Inderia, recognized by someone who whispered to their companion who she was.

James Lawrence frowned and stepped over, seeing Zevaney Kingsley’s pale face, couldn’t help but ask her, ”Ms. Kingsley, what’s wrong?”

Zevaney Kingsley hurriedly hung up the call, meeting James Lawrence’s curious gaze, stood frozen in place, eyes dazed, taking ages to react: ”I found out the first-place grade.”

”What level of experiment did she do?” James Lawrence’s eyes lit up, immediately grabbing her shoulder, clearly very concerned.

Zevaney Kingsley’s facial expression was extremely complex, turning to him, hesitating several times before speaking, pursing her lips, and finally struggled to speak: ”Level 8 experiment.”

Many had already been paying attention to the group around Zevaney Kingsley, and as soon as she spoke about inquiring the first-place grade, even more people focused on her conversation with James Lawrence.
