Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 255: 255 Playboy Turns Over a New Leaf?

”I was forced too, Brother Mu, please spare me!” Frantically kneeling on the ground, ****Fan pleaded with snot and tears streaming down his face.

He didn’t mind streaking, but he dreaded getting beaten up! Who was Mu Hanyan? The City Lord’s son, the number one playboy of Heishi City. Dealing with a playboy from a well-off family like Yuan Tianbo might still require some measure of restraint, he couldn’t hit too hard, but to maim someone from a fallen family like him wouldn’t present any pressure at all.

In the end, this was their fault. They had conspired to set him up, hoping to trap Mu Hanyan, but instead, they had all but ensured their own downfall. Even if he were maimed, no one from his family would stand up for him.

Originally, if things had gone as planned, with Fourth Miss Zhao and Zhou Qi backing him up, and with Mu Hanyan definitely facing a severe punishment from the Mu Family, likely to be grounded for months, he wouldn’t have been too worried. But now that both his backers had fled stark naked, who would support him?

He, of course, had wanted to run too, but with a griffin guarding outside, how could he possibly escape?

”Don’t worry, I’m in a good mood today, I won’t do anything to you,” Mu Hanyan said with a gentle smile.

”Thank you, Brother Mu, thank you, Brother Mu,” the two of them said gratefully, overjoyed.

”Huayue, Zirong, get to work,” Mu Hanyan then said lightly amid their thanks.

Huayue and Zirong were wondering how the big playboy Mu had changed his temperament to be so amiable today. Upon hearing this command, they were instantly thrilled, with claws bared, they pounced toward the two men.

Yuan Tianbo and ****Fan hadn’t yet grasped what was happening before they were beaten down to the ground with punches and kicks.

The broad auction hall quickly filled with their pig-like screams.

”Mu Hanyan, you... you said you wouldn’t do anything to us, you’re not keeping your word,” Yuan Tianbo had a bit more backbone. Perhaps because he had been beaten several times and his tolerance had increased, he wailed and angrily questioned while in pain.

”I did say I wouldn’t do anything to you, but I never said others wouldn’t do anything to you,” Mu Hanyan said with a sly smile.

Return evil with kindness? Lady Mu certainly didn’t possess such lofty sentiments. An eye for an eye and vengeance were more in line with her true nature.

Upon initially hearing her statement, even the surrounding crowd was taken aback, feeling that Eldest Young Master Mu wasn’t as vindictive as the rumors suggested, and that he was actually quite magnanimous. But now they realized they were wrong. A playboy is always a playboy, and a scoundrel is always a scoundrel. However, nobody really sympathized with Yuan Tianbo and ****Fan.

”You... you...” Yuan Tianbo, still trying to utter curses, was kicked by Zirong and rolled several times, unable to spit out another word, only capable of gazing at Mu Hanyan with deep-seated anguish, letting out a series of pitiful screams.

”Sigh, I’ve beaten people up not too few times, so how come there’s no improvement? Aren’t you guys tired of this wailing?” Mu Hanyan said with dissatisfaction, covering her ears.

The crowd around felt a chill down their spines, seeing Huayue’s fierce moves and Zirong’s despicably vicious techniques. They felt a chill in their hearts, unconsciously crossing their legs tighter. Mu, the big playboy, was still not satisfied?

True to his reputation as the number one playboy of Heishi City, ruthless indeed!

”Mu Nan, Che Xiang, are you two also itching for a try? If you want to have a go, just say the word. I’m in a good mood today, I won’t stop you. Really, I won’t stop you,” Mu Hanyan said with a mischievous grin to Mu Nan and Che Xiang.

Both were stunned, truth be told, they were not in the mood for tormenting anyone today. However, Mu Hanyan’s words instantly awakened the demons within them. Rolling up their sleeves with determination, they joined the fray without a second thought.
